GREAT video and you are brave to attempt this at this time of year, lol especially using just a tarp.
Just a little suggestion , do a little summary at the end of the video , with how many miles you have done , which bit was the easiest part and in general how many hours you have walked through the days , and maybe put a little graphic of where you are on the map if you can . People who will watch and are not familiar with the UK , and have no idea where you are but would like to see your progress .

A tarp in February! Oooh, that's brave. I really enjoyed this: I loved that you took the time to visit some ancient sites, and kept us updated on landmarks (villages, named bays, etc.) as you passed them. And changeable weather like you had here is just so beautiful on film, if maybe not as nice to walk through as clear skies. A terrific start.

I really enjoyed your video, especially the stone age village and stone circle. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your walk! Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺👍😎

What great views of the sea. Beautiful. Some of the pictures of the tin mine were stunning, with the sun shining on the building in the foreground and the dark, brooding sky at the back.

Lovely video. What a feat to achieve on foot, beneath a tarp in February. I completed on bike many years ago, covering ground if a little too quickly. I think I'd enjoy the peace and tranquillity of walking it. Enjoy!

Sometime TH-cam does recommend great vlogs, this is one. I've really bought in to your journey and subscribed so I can follow along. Hope all goes well for the rest of your trip. Cheers, Simon of Suffolk.

I really enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing your journeys with us. I have had many years of adventures from my time in the army to bikepacking now. My wife recently bought me some trig point bagging books for Herefordshire and Worcestershire - I am going to start knocking a few off the list on multiday hikes or multiday bikes. I have lots of ultralight gear that makes up my bikepacking kit so I was fortunate to able to get started almost straight away. I just purchased an ultralight Trek mates 30L + pockets pack and my first multiday hike is on March 22nd. Really looking forward to it, and also looking forward to following your adventures.

    Very good vlog.
Gave us lots of information about where you are so people like me can follow on OS maps.
But even better, you took the time to visit points of interest, the Iron Age settlement and mine ruins are so much more interesting (to me) than "I hiked 20 miles and bought food".
The UK has so much more to offer than "long distance hiking".
You have a subscription and I'm looking forward to following your journey. Good luck.

I would have chosen the north coast to St Ives, you would have knocked off a day just in that short distance. Plenty of archaeological sites too. Still, nice to join your hike. I see from your earlier posts that you did this route a year or so ago, I would have been tempted to do it in reverse, but hey ho, your walk.

well played - you're actually visiting places along the way. usually these vlogs are just people obsessing about the mileage and moaning about the weather. nice change - not sure about the tarp though - i think that one might might not work out in feb. best of luck - big route.

Actually the sign post won’t be used by the chap taking photos anymore they wouldn’t renew the contract. You’ve certainly picked the hard way to do it. I did the Le Jog but the other way from j o g in 1968 but on the road copying Dr Barbara Moore, I’m in my late 70s now and my legs wouldn’t survive it. Good luck and enjoy your journey.
