- We take you on our maiden voyage aboard the "Bigger Days". This is a 2019 Spartan Maximus 220 (link on bottom). Join us as we launch out of Whittier, AK into Prince William Sound. We put the boat through the camping and fishing test. Needless to say, Sara managed to catch the bigger fish, yet once again.

We bought the boat and now its being fitted with radio, gps, radar and some bits right now.
It was on sale here in Canada, $47000 off but you know the “sale” prices.
Just hope we have the adventures you do.

I looked at those at bass pro in anchorage . This exact boat to be honest. Was just above what we wanted to pay. And we ended up with the targa V-20 from tracker and got the full weather Bimini. More of a lake boat but could do Whittier on a good day. When I can I’m gonna upgrade to a hardtop spartan though.
yes this is where we got ours! it was the first one in the state. They have since made a few small changes for the newer model years but to be honest i like how ours is vs the newer ones. Congrats on your boat and maybe well see ya out there some day!

Now that's its 2 years old, any thing you would change to the Spartan? I've been looking at them, northriver, hewescraft and allied.
honestly the only changes I would make I already did, which were more option add ons. Added a diesel heater, inverter and now a canvas top to keep our heads dry in the rain. Besides that, this boat has been amazing and does everything we wanted. Perfect fit for our family. Economical as well which is great. There are times where we wished there was a transom door for access to the platform but on the flip side we love the security of the tall sides. i may also increase the size of the drain areas when you spray off the deck where it drains to the bilge, but thats it.

Robert McAdam absolutely love it! Had it for a year now and couldn’t of asked for a better boat for what we do. We actually just stopped by bass pro last weekend and saw the new 2021 model. They did a few changes we liked and a few we didn’t but overall it’s one of the best 22ft aluminum boats on the market
Bigger Days Adventures So we hope to purchase a Spartan 2400 on sale. Times are hard and finance especially for boats is challenging even with good credit.
We are in the lower mainland of BC, lucky enough to have a little cabin and we hope to have some little adventures in the lower mainland.
Made sure the Scotty electrics are wired in and everything set up.
We are 60 yrs so this is our last big purchase and we are stoked.
Got a heater, extra batteries, inverter, solar matt, little flat screen, anchor,
pot puller, gps, our last true luxury might be a flir camera.

We bought a derelict hotel and house on the ocean in the Broughton Archipelago so we are stoked… the last big purchase of my life the adventure continues.
