The Exist SF looks like the pinnacle of finesse reels. First cast would be a grub on a 1/32 over a shallow rock bomby, sight casting big bream, the sf would do a great job with those very light lures and those very big fish. Great work
I think your gonna have more success using the 40mm double clutch with a tutula Swimbait rod (baitcaster) with a spinning reel preferably a td sol 2000
I’d have to say my favourite looking new bait junkie would have to be the new prawn so good and I’m sure it’s going to be a fun on big bream trevally and flattys can’t wait to get my hands on some but would love if you made a 2 or 2.25inch size of the prawn
Wow. The range of new gear was stupendous. Something for everyone. Great to hear you have focused on customer feedback to improve your products. Well done guys.
The td black I’d definitely use for bream and even for my trout, bait junkie new plastics. My favourite would have to be the the 2.95 flick. Throwing it at trout in the streams and also bream. Awesome work boys and thumbs up to the editing team🫶👌
Hey Daiwa, I would take the new exist reel for my first ever bass fishing experience! And I would film it with my GoPro to make a video. Love the new gear👌
I’d use the td black for chasing kings and Pelagic’s in The summer, I would take then exist out to the snowy mountains to go fishing for trout and my favourite new bait junkie has to be the 3 inch wave minnow which would be a killer on the bream and flathead
Super excited to try the KIKKER CURLY BIG! Definitely an unorthodox approach, but I'd love to fish with these for BIG flathead on the flats on the falling tide. I reckon as the water gets lower while they're still up on the flats from the high, these would have some insane action in the early morning or late evening!! Really cool plastic :))
So keen to try out some of these items. Just got an order of a bunch of daiwa lures as it is clear they are best of the best. Would love to work for daiwa in the future it would be a dream all of the creating and testing. For the TD Black I would target it all. Im really a big fan od having a couple rods to use for everything, especially when they are this good. But I would also like to target some soapies as I have never caught once. The exist would be coming up stream into the mangroves for some bream and flatties and anything else. the lighness would defo help with making my way through the scrubs. Biggest fan of baitjunkie so Im stoked to see some new stuff coming. Keep up the incredible work, so inspirational
My favourite new Bait Junkie is the 295 flick… I love a morning walk in the shallows and I can see the big Whiting rise, fighting over each other to chomp down on that subtle presentation. Such a clever design on the tail and the eyes in the shallows really do give you that X factor
This just shows that Daiwa is the top dog in bass fishing. The Exceler and Legalis spinning reels seem incredible. Would be an incredible upgrade. Definitely getting my hands on the Wave Minnows. Would kill it in the deep clear water I fish at Norris Lake in East TN. Only been fishing for about 2 years around when my Dad passed away and it’s helped me cope with losing him. My uncle has been teaching me to fish and he got me hooked on Daiwa early in my bass fishing journey. Keep it up!
Daiwa are top dog in the scamming industry yes thats true. €300 rods that will break if you pull to hard, litrally the way the American bass industry goes. In Europe we have perch rods. Its litrally only diawa that make such junk for such price
Baitjunkie is a tie between the 295 flick and 3" prawn - would fish on the lightest weight, sight casting to bream on shallow edges and snags. Cast and hang on!
1. I would be using the 23 TD Black for some stud Flathead. 2. The new Exist would be used in Lake Macquarie for finesse Breaming. 3. 295 Flick would be my favourite. What a line up of new gear, congratulations.
I'd definitely use the new TD black rods for trout and redfin as well as some land-based flathead. I love how Diawa keeps changing and upgrading models to suit every type of condition in Australia.
The td black rods will go great on the skinny creek bass, my mate had one of the old ones and it was fantastic for a light bass rod, and accurate for flicking next to structure.
My favourite Baitjunkie is definitely the 7 inch Jerkshad. I have caught so many Kingfish, Bonito, Tailor, Snapper and Salmon with it off the rocks. Amazing action in the saltwater, the fish can’t resist!
My first cast with the unbelievable Exist SF would be to the rocky outcrops of the Bega river, tie on a spike 44 with a spool of fluro, find the big old blue nose bream and let that silky smooth drag go to work!
Daiwa's new Prawn 3" Bait Junkies are game-changers for every angler when chasing those big fish! With their lifelike action from the splits in their tails, they are sure to make a big impact on how we fish. Whether you're targeting bream, snapper, barramundi or flathead, these soft plastics are consistently delivering exceptional results.
The Exist SF is an aspiration for someone who is more used to fishing with an Exceler. But given half a chance, I’d be tossing soft plastics and small hard bodies like double clutches at jetties and pontoons for bream and in canals for flathead.
Favourite bait junkie is the risky critter for sure. Goes absolutely crazy on the sand flats in pink and does equally as well in the estuaries in darker colours. Imitates a yabby to a tee in pink and is just unbeatable👏
Great looking TD Black spin range. I’m a big fan of the TD Black spin rod range and that spiral handle definitely gives me confidence from finesse to medium heavy fishing styles. Would be keen to target bream and flatties on the finesse range for sure
On the TD blacks I head for the sweat stuff, big bass, even bigger Yellows and then head downstream to target EPs…. They’re just a beautiful rod for going after our incredible native species
I have a 21 TD Black and by far it’s my favourite rod for chasing flatties. Love to look of the new 23 TD Black to continue the chase for the ever elusive 3m flat dog…. Knowing how good my rod is can only imagine the new one will be better again!!!!
I like the look of the bait junkie wave minnow as it is 3 inches which can be trimmed for bream or stock for flatties and generally gets the bigger fish when with the long tail which would probably have nice action on the sink.
Those new TD blacks look perfectly suited to some freshwater work up in the sticks or along the banks for bass. The new grip would make casting for extended periods less harsh on the hands and provide plenty of control trying to steer fish out of the structure
For the TD BLACK, missed the 20td black supercasta 762mhfs and slugger 802mhfs. now I am trying different light tackle rod like 7ft-7ft2 light and ul. CONGZ and THANKS, Daiwa Australia!
Fishing that TD Black around the oyster pots near grafton with those 3" prawns would go off! can see everything hitting those bad boys, might even through it out in a gutter pick up some flatties. Be seeing you lot on saturday.
Favourite Bait Junkie from tonights show would be the 3" Prawn. Would be good to see how they go inshore and around island flats aswell as in the creeks.
I would take the exist out on the kayak, chasing Aussie bass and sooty grunters would definitely make the kayak fishing much more enjoyable having such a light reel to cast around all day without wearing out the wrists between paddling and casting, Cheers
As a wheelchair fisherman I have a jetty that I go to where we have caught a couple of juvenile Queenfish around the 30 - 40 cm mark. Caught them on an a Daiwa Aird 3-6kg rod with a gold Daiwa Double Clutch lure. I think it would be great to catch one on a TD Black 2-4kg. Going to the AFTA tomorrow so will check one out.
That new Exist SF looks amazing. Being super light and compact, I'd put it straight into the carry-on backpack (maybe paired with a new Wilderness rod) and head south to Tassie to see if I can get onto some of the beastly black breambos. How good!
Love my older 2-6kg TD Black. But on new ones I'd be targetting Yellowbelly/Callop on a baitcaster, yellowfin whiting on the flats with a light hardbody setup, and a lighter/better KGW rod for the wife.
My favourite plastic is the Wave Minnow. I think they will be absolute dynomite in skinny water for bass. I have a lot of success on curly tailed grubs in the skinny water when I fish them slow, so the extra tail movement with a slightly bigger profiled body (from what I can see) is bound to get more eats. 10/10 love the look of them.
I would take the Diawa 23 Exist SF reel to my local beach here on the SunshineCoast, to fish for Mulloway, Snapper and Tailor . I use to fish 35 years ago on Stockton Beach in Newcastle, but due to job restrictions I had to let go of my passion back then. But now that I'm retired and living up in the Sunshine Coast, I'm keen to get back into fishing again. I already have purchased a Diawa 23 Steez A II tw bait reel and a Diawa 21 Infeet Z 702 LRB rod for canal fishing up here, for bream and flathead and I would now like to also do some beach fishing and this 23 Exist SF reel would be perfect fit for beach fishing.
I'd take the exist SF reeland TD black rod to the spit on the gold coast for some flathead and bream fishing, maybe a cheeky pinkie if im lucky! Definitely targeting a big flathead though. My favourite is the 3 inch prawn, picks up everything on the estuaries
I’ve always had a spot for Diawa since my pop bought the brother and I Diawa Millionaire 5hm reels when were young tackers fishing for Redfin, yellowbelly and cod. Anyhow over 40 years later I’m just getting back into fishing and bought a Wicked Weasel rod. Absolutely beautiful rod …it just oooze’s quality. Would love to try the new ultra light Black rod on the Redfin with the bait junky plastics. The ultra light fishing is so much fun I wish I had got into it years ago. Anyhow loving all the new gear coming out and just wanna say great work 👏💪👍😀
Crazy how you guys were able to break the lightest reel record earlier this year with the Airity, and then again with the Exist SF! Great job to the team at Daiwa. First cast with this reel would probably be flats fishing for bream and whting .
I like the sound of the new wave minnow the best out of the new soft plastics, would be great to see some underwater clips of the lures as you release them as well.
Those TD Blacks look sick. Can see myself targeting some breambos, flatties and even some trout on them. Love that Daiwa’s incorporated the X45X. Such a nice touch
SUPER KEEN to try out the new Prawn shape! It's such a competitive market at the moment when it comes to this profile, and it's such a versatile bait, so imagine it is going to out perform the competitors with all of the research and testing that's gone into it! Great work, Daiwa Australia! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
The new EXIST SF look awesome! Would look even better on my Infeet ;) Chasing bream on light gear over some flats was my first thought. But I would love taking this reel, when we go chasing Sooty Grunter and JP in the FNQ jungle. Sight casting with some top water lures.
can’t wait for the 23KIX. If i was to purchase one i would get it in the 2500 size just so i have something light but durable for targeting bigger estuary species such as the mulloway .The new plastic/ lures i like would have to be the new colour of slippery dog and the new 3 inch prawns. If i had the chance to use the new TD black in a 1-3kg and the exist SF i would take it to the gold coast trying to target big mangrove jack, Trevally, bream and maybe even the monster flathead i have been chasing. My current combo i have is a revelry HD MQ 2500 and i paired with 20 TD black which i saved up for with chore and christmas money. It would be a dream to get a hold of either the new TD black rod or the exist. Can’t wait to see you guys and the new gear on Saturday at the 2023 fishing expo👌.
Hi Mitchell! You've been randomly selected as the winner for the 150x Assorted Bait Junkie Soft Plastics and Jig Heads Giveaway! Could you please send through your details to promotions@daiwaaustralia.com.au and Jason will be in contact with you 😁
The wave minnow! I know it’s going to work slim profile plenty of vibrations from that big tail. I see many big bream being landed on this in the future
The new Exist SF looks awesome. My first cast with one would be in my local flats on the Parramatta River, to throw tiny unweighted soft plastics at schools of Aussie Salmon, when their feeding on jelly prawns and become super fussy and difficult to hook on most typical lures.
I like the look of the 23 TD Black Cap'n Risky! Would channel Kris Hickson throwing ultra light hardbodies and plastics at the edges of Mallacoota Lake for big bream!
Td black, an absolute slayer of a rod up here in the Whitsundays! I’d be using a MH for chasing barramundi in the creeks and dams and fishing plastics for coral trout!
I would chase some bass, flatheads, bream, Barra, Murray cod, snapper, golden perch, eel tailed catfish, tailor, all types of trevs, jacks. The blood worm colour in the bait junkies is amazing. I cleaned up on around 20 ish 30cm+ bream in a 2hr session!
I would love to take the new Exist SF to one of the Gippsland lakes to chase those big yellowfin bream! Also love the unique tail design on the bait junkie 295" Flick, cant wait to try them out on the flats. Thanks for making fishing exciting!!!
That 295 Flick is an interesting looking plastic, I’m a fan of minnow style plastics so would likely give them a go. Will come check them out on public day!
I need a good barra rod and mangro jack rod to take north. Love the look of the new rods and reels. I have an exceller 2000, kix 5000 and saltist 4000. Also have a new Sensor beach rod. Would love to add a TD Black to the collection.
Only just got the chance to watch the clip! If the Exist giveaway is still running, I'd 100 percent be taking that into the racks on Forster and really testing it out!
The flick was definitely a stand out in the plastics range. Would be a go to for me on the weed beds, in the oyster racks for bream and even in the rivers around that tight structure for Aussie bass.
The Exist SF looks like the pinnacle of finesse reels. First cast would be a grub on a 1/32 over a shallow rock bomby, sight casting big bream, the sf would do a great job with those very light lures and those very big fish. Great work
I use the 23 Exist SF 1000. Perfection!
I’d probably take the exist to Oman and chase 50kg+ gts on the new 3 inch prawns using the 2023 1-3kg td black
I think your gonna have more success using the 40mm double clutch with a tutula Swimbait rod (baitcaster) with a spinning reel preferably a td sol 2000
@@cribbsyfishing *you're
If I got lucky enough to own a Diawa exist reel I’d take it to my local flattys and get it singing on some surface bream and whiting
I’d have to say my favourite looking new bait junkie would have to be the new prawn so good and I’m sure it’s going to be a fun on big bream trevally and flattys can’t wait to get my hands on some but would love if you made a 2 or 2.25inch size of the prawn
The new 3 inch prawn and the wave minnows are definitely getting added to the collection, amazing new product they all look amazing. 🔥🔥
Wow. The range of new gear was stupendous. Something for everyone. Great to hear you have focused on customer feedback to improve your products. Well done guys.

Love the new wave minnow would love to take that up the fresh for jungle perch
I would use the td black slugger for tailor and bonito off the rocks.
135g is crazy for the new exist!Would definitely take that out to the marina in the gold coast for some bream!
Definitely the best new product video I've ever watched. Awesome new products coming and the clips were amazing. Can't wait to get amongst it!!! 👍🏻🎣

I reckon as the water gets lower while they're still up on the flats from the high, these would have some insane action in the early morning or late evening!! Really cool plastic :))
that sounds mad, would love a bigger slippery dog too for doin the same thing. topwater flathead is goat fishing action
So keen to try out some of these items. Just got an order of a bunch of daiwa lures as it is clear they are best of the best. awesome stuff! Well done to the team at daiwa Australia.

Favourite Bait Junkie plastic would definitely be the 3” Prawn. Everything eats a prawn and the 3” Bait Junkie Prawn matches to an absolute tee
The TD hyper rods are looking immaculate 😮
my favorite bait junkie is the prawn. can’t wait to see the action in the water.
Great new release Daiwa Aus! Keep the innovation and ideas coming!!
I get so excited every time something new comes out. You guys make the best stuff
I'd definitely use the new TD black rods for trout and redfin as well as some land-based flathead. I love how Diawa keeps changing and upgrading models to suit every type of condition in Australia.
The td black rods will go great on the skinny creek bass, my mate had one of the old ones and it was fantastic for a light bass rod, and accurate for flicking next to structure.
awesome stuff going down
The diawa bait junkie prawn is definitely a stand out for me and I can’t wait to use it on some jacks and Barra up north
My favourite Baitjunkie is definitely the 7 inch Jerkshad. I have caught so many Kingfish, Bonito, Tailor, Snapper and Salmon with it off the rocks. Amazing action in the saltwater, the fish can’t resist!
WOW good to see so many new and improved products.

Awesome!! Been waiting for so long
The Td black would definitely use for flathead, Bream and bass. Love the new Td hyper and infeets
The Exist SF is an aspiration for someone who is more used to fishing with an Exceler. But given half a chance, I’d be tossing soft plastics and small hard bodies like double clutches at jetties and pontoons for bream and in canals for flathead.

On the TD blacks I head for the sweat stuff, big bass, even bigger Yellows and then head downstream to target EPs…. They’re just a beautiful rod for going after our incredible native species
I will use the td black for flicking for jewfish in the estuary . Also will use for snapper off shores using bait junkie jerkshads .
I have a 21 TD Black and by far it’s my favourite rod for chasing flatties. Love to look of the new 23 TD Black to continue the chase for the ever elusive 3m flat dog…. Knowing how good my rod is can only imagine the new one will be better again!!!!
those big kickers will go awesome pulling cod out of the weeds at Lake Mulwala
I like the look of the bait junkie wave minnow as it is 3 inches which can be trimmed for bream or stock for flatties and generally gets the bigger fish when with the long tail which would probably have nice action on the sink.
My favourite soft plastic, especially chasing flathead is the 3” prawn. Always gets the fish biting.
The cinematics to this showcase are amazing!!
New bait junkies look great. My favourite would have to be the 295 Flick or the 3 inch prawn, they look great for all round estuary fishing.
Those new TD blacks look perfectly suited to some freshwater work up in the sticks or along the banks for bass. The new grip would make casting for extended periods less harsh on the hands and provide plenty of control trying to steer fish out of the structure
Exist SF would be a great addition to my ultralight setups. I would take it for a first cast inshore on the Gold Coast to chase baby pelagics.
For the TD BLACK, missed the 20td black supercasta 762mhfs and slugger 802mhfs. now I am trying different light tackle rod like 7ft-7ft2 light and ul. CONGZ and THANKS, Daiwa Australia!

Favourite Bait junkie would be the new prawn, it really looks the goods for everything from whiting to Jacks.
Favourite Bait Junkie from tonights show would be the 3" Prawn. Would be good to see how they go inshore and around island flats aswell as in the creeks.
The Exist SF, My first cast would definitely have to be a natural creek targeting trout with the double clutch 48. Looks awesome great work Team Daiwa
Definitely gonna take the exist reel down to Stuart’s point where the family used to camp, chase big whiting bream and tailor on the surface lures.
The 3 inch prawn would be my next add. It should be very productive at my local hunting grounds for KG's, snook, and flathead.
I would take the exist out on the kayak, chasing Aussie bass and sooty grunters would definitely make the kayak fishing much more enjoyable having such a light reel to cast around all day without wearing out the wrists between paddling and casting,
Cheers
Favourite BAITJUNKIE has to be the 3" Prawn..... can't beat a prawn profile soft plastic, everything eats it!
I can see the new bait junkie 3" prawn working a treat around weed beds locally, will definitely be giving them a go.
On the new TD black, I would 100000% be going for bream, flathead, trevally, you name it, TD blacks are some of the most versatile rods out there!
Anyhow loving all the new gear coming out and just wanna say great work 👏💪👍😀
The new Exist , looks incredible ! My first cast with it would be at big dead tree lying in the water at the Cut on the Mitchell River in VIC
Crazy how you guys were able to break the lightest reel record earlier this year with the Airity, and then again with the Exist SF! Great job to the team at Daiwa. First cast with this reel would probably be flats fishing for bream and whting .
I use two Airity and one Exist SF. Absolutely heavenly!!
I like the sound of the new wave minnow the best out of the new soft plastics, would be great to see some underwater clips of the lures as you release them as well.
Thanks for the Show team awesome new products coming keen to get my hands on them
295 flick is the gun new bait junkie, perfect for the flats in Wallis Lake, or over the flats in Lake St clair for bass!
My favourite of the bait junkies shown would have to be the prawn, super cool shape and addition of the fins, looks great in the natural colours.
The new wave minnow looks amazing, definitely gonna become a bream magnet around our local!
Those TD Blacks look sick. Can see myself targeting some breambos, flatties and even some trout on them. Love that Daiwa’s incorporated the X45X. Such a nice touch
That 295 Flick looks awesome for the flats cant wait for them to hit the shelves !!!

5” jerk shad best for little pelagics
3" prawn is easily my favourite of the new range, cant wait to add it to my ever growing collection. keep up the good work!
Taking that exist to the local for sure. No mucking around getting straight into it 👌🏽
I like the look of the 23 TD Black Cap'n Risky!
135g Exist SF sounds like an absolute dream! Let’s be real though, first cast would be at the Local Wilson inlet - can’t wait!
Love the look of the 3" prawn. Wave minnow looks great too.
Favourite bait junkie would be the new 3” prawn. Looks the goods.
That was cool. Something for everyone. It’ll be Daiwa gear for my young son’s first soft plastics rod 👍
My favourite new bait junkie has to be the prawn. That looks like such an amazing profile and would catch absolutely everything
I would love to take the new Exist SF to one of the Gippsland lakes to chase those big yellowfin bream!
Also love the unique tail design on the bait junkie 295" Flick, cant wait to try them out on the flats. Thanks for making fishing exciting!!!
TD black rod for whiting on surface lures on the flats! They look superb!
My favourite Bait Junkie is the Wave Minnow. The combination of the minnow body with the curly tail is remarkable. Can’t wait to give it a go!
The 3" prawn is the best, love the way it looks and cant wait to catch some bream, also cant complain about the 295" flick. Thanks guys love the work
Awesome work! Can't wait to try some of the new products
