It's interesting to see the toll of constant reforging has more visual costs. She's died so many times and gained so much experience as a warrior, yet the soul she has is becoming less by clouding her eyes, which are the window to the soul.
Not really clouding them, you can almost see the glitter of starlight in them if you look closely. It seems to me that the more of the soul is lost, the more Magical essence of Azyr the Anvil of Apotheosis must use to rebuild each warrior, since it’s essentially being forced to plug the gaps Nagash leaves when he snatches at their souls. Over time, they become less like the person they were and more like a walking nuclear reactor with an increasingly vague memory of once being something less. The trade off is obvious; centuries of experience and unlimited power…at the cost of your mind, your memories, and everything that ever made you _you_ to begin with.

Or stones? I forget which but in Shyish it’s soul glass I think, azerite in Azir etc)

My boy Nagash gets a cameo, we get numerous cool units animated in extremely high quality and some bad ass/ brutal scenes. We get some truly horrifying existentialism for the Stormcast plus the Skaven get to be chaotic with new toys? Bravo. Simply bravo. And it shouldn't need to be said. But keep doing this and staying away from AI. This seems like a movie or show trailer over a tabletop war game. Phenomenal
After watching this trailer, I thought that Age of Sigmar is great for a video game like helldivers. Only instead of heldravers, we will play as Sigmar warriors and teleport to different worlds to fight against:Skaven, Orcs, undead, chaos warriors and others
Love the cinematic. But Sigmar didn't lie lol. He promised Immortality, he didn't promise there would be no cost. As a main stormcast collector I do love the 'fracturing' of the Stormcasts psyche.
Plus the Stormcast Eternals have been around for a long time by this point, there are stories of how newer members have seen older/more experienced members die and be reborn only to come back with less and less of themselves. If anything the price of their immortality has been shown repeatedly over and over again in those they fight beside. I'd hardly call that a secret if I'm being honest.

I love both how this really sells the stormcast by focusing on the most unique and intriguing part of them narratively (in my opinion) by focusing on how they loose them selves a little with every death. Side note SKAVENNNNNNNN! loved the wheel, mandatory friendly quota was almost filled entirely by that one death because it was so aggressively skaven.
When Ushoran and the Steel Rook came out, someone in a comment section said that AoS is experiencing "Dark Soulsification." AoS 4E is shaping up to be a really unique fantasy setting with some of the highest high fantasy being mixed with some of the darkest dark fantasy. I love it.

The Skaven are the only Chaos faction I enjoy, they are so over the top, insane, funny and I love how they can match the most advanced weapons of every other faction in the most insane ways possible and make it work.
Isn't sigmar actively working yo address that problem? IDK where but I remember some acknowledging that he at least is really upset about that part of how the whole stormcast resurrection cycle works.
As a long-time Skaven fan, I am very pleased. But as a newfound Tzaangor simp, I am overjoyed to see them portrayed in some more cinematic way, even if its for a couple seconds.
And it turns out their the ones fighting the Skaven and even they wern't enough so SIgmar opened the Ruination Chamber which will hopefully be filled with absolute units of Stormcast like the 3 that were able to go into the chaos!!!!!
I love the storytelling of this Ruinator's history, from mortal champion to Liberator to Annihilator, and now this all-but-inhuman warrior. They know how to do a lot with no dialogue.
This looks amazing, hope we get to see the new models soon as it was pretty disappointing that you didn't show off the boxset and all the new models for the Stormcast and the Skaven!!!!!!! I hope for the Stormcast we get a lot of new models including new revaps of some of the older units like Retributors etc. And of course new Skaven!!!!!!!!!!
The liberators still look wonky to me, those new helmets ... But the rest look good, I think the idea of a lord with axe and shield is new? And the flying guys having spear and shield?

I kinda love this. The big line of the short isn't announcing some new twist or dark evil, or "the next chapter of AOS". The story for the video is all about the plight of the storm blokes. Love it.
As usual The stormcast aren't indoctrinated. The anvils of heldenhammer, for example, is the Stormhost who questions Sigmar more openly, but they still have blind Faith in him

The skaven emergence was amazing, I love the scale and spectacle of the Mortal Realms.
Imagine mining your own business then suddenly a city rise from the ground like some kind of giant new York sewear alligator.... yeah I love it too.
Warhammer Community Article states this "city" is the size of a "continent" so, like, at least as big as Australia. Which is quite the city

I really love how Age of Sigmar has grown since it‘s introduction. I was very sceptical at first as I started Warhammer shortly before the End Times and had just gotten into the Warhammer Fantasy setting
What better time to join the Mortal Realms then the start of a new edition? Been a 40k fan for years, now it's time to join Sigmar

I love both how this really sells the stormcast by focusing on the most unique and intriguing part of them narratively (in my opinion) by focusing on how they loose them selves a little with every death.
Side note SKAVENNNNNNNN! loved the wheel, mandatory friendly quota was almost filled entirely by that one death because it was so aggressively skaven.

My 2 AoS favourite factions clashing, Ruination chamber opened, new toys for rats... hype is real!

When Ushoran and the Steel Rook came out, someone in a comment section said that AoS is experiencing "Dark Soulsification." AoS 4E is shaping up to be a really unique fantasy setting with some of the highest high fantasy being mixed with some of the darkest dark fantasy. I love it.

The Skaven are the only Chaos faction I enjoy, they are so over the top, insane, funny and I love how they can match the most advanced weapons of every other faction in the most insane ways possible and make it work.
This still gives me chills. Will we ever get an Age of Sigmar movie like this? Would love to see Archaon conquer on the big screen........Please!!!

He is yes. In fact in the soul wars book that's like one of the first things he brings up.

As a long-time Skaven fan, I am very pleased.
But as a newfound Tzaangor simp, I am overjoyed to see them portrayed in some more cinematic way, even if its for a couple seconds.

And it turns out their the ones fighting the Skaven and even they wern't enough so SIgmar opened the Ruination Chamber which will hopefully be filled with absolute units of Stormcast like the 3 that were able to go into the chaos!!!!!

I love the storytelling of this Ruinator's history, from mortal champion to Liberator to Annihilator, and now this all-but-inhuman warrior. They know how to do a lot with no dialogue.

I hope for the Stormcast we get a lot of new models including new revaps of some of the older units like Retributors etc.

It's a bit early to be showing the models. It's only March, still like 3 more months before the box even drops.
The liberators still look wonky to me, those new helmets ...
But the rest look good, I think the idea of a lord with axe and shield is new? And the flying guys having spear and shield?

For the Skaven I hope most if not all of their models get redesigned/update, as for Stormcast it seems most of the older models are being updated to the newish from 3rd edition Thunderstrike armour so I hope we get some more heavy hitters like even bulkier Retributors!!!!

Happens in the lore more than you think. Yndrasta straight up calls him a monster in her first appearance in print. And she's basically a primarch.

The anvils of heldenhammer, for example, is the Stormhost who questions Sigmar more openly, but they still have blind Faith in him

Ya I think the recent AOS game also acknowledged the Stormcast eternals lose a piece of their humanity every time they die. I feel like that exists mostly to explain why they don't fight with reckless abandon.
