Thanks awesome Mahi mate! Thanks for all you do. I have been hunting deer in the Oroua on and off since 1990. Got some fond memories of that valley. Still go up there a few times a year. Cheers!
Janet Wilson, QSM in 2021, deserves all the credit. For initially setting up the traplines, obtaining funding, organising volunteers to service them, and her many trips maintaining them. You can find Janet's citation on this page: www.dpmc.govt.nz/publications/new-year-honours-list-2021 Finally, we saw heaps of deer sign :)
Well spotted - they are nice Macpac tops. In Tim's defence you need to know your gear and don't want to be heading out on a SAR job with something you've only worn to a training night.
Beautiful
Great video thank you.
Enjoyed the camraderie.
Makes my trapline in the Coromandel a doddle by comparison.

Hope Tim didn't get sunburned head!
What business was old mate Tim doing in the SAR gear? He owes beers to the local group for using gear while not on op or training....

No need to defend him, he should know the rules, those above. I know I wear the same patch on ops and training only. Peace.
