- The Tiny house is now finished! We had a tough year last year as my wife Nicky was diagnosed with cancer and I just didnt have time to build the tiny and do videos sorry. But we are off now for a year on the road travelling our awesome country with our 2 kids.

Towing a building that’s not aerodynamic is something! However once you get there you get more space and headroom. What a marvellous adventure!
Thanks yes we preferred comfort once we arrive at our location over efficiency getting there.

Wow a great video done like a pro. I’ve subscribed to your channel which was recommended by Mike Leopard. Visited Ngawi many years ago for a day trip, such a neat spot, unfortunately it was blown if it tits off. You timed it right with your visit. Loved all the bulldozers and the walk up to the lighthouse.
Hey thanks for your sub mate! The leopards are awesome great content. Yes Ngawi is a great spot I grew up in the Wairarapa and learnt to dive along the coast there.
Great video…we love Ngawi……FYI. I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and with “Fenbendazole” Iam now cancer free with no. Radiation or surgery…. Cheers Phil

Yes don’t worry the kids put it back they are getting home schooled and are very interested in sea creatures these ones aren’t found in rock pools 😁

That camera, drone and selection mahi was soooo professional and easy to watch. Your cabin is great and looks well designed, made and equipped. I've been to Ngawi and loved this visit with you all. I have been living permanently in my Motorhome since 2016 and love the lifestyle...all the best ❤maybe we may run into each other [figuratively] in Nelson?...ka pai !!!

that was pretty good weather for ngawi, you were lucky. I was wondering how your tiny home handled some parts of the road out there, I was out there about 4 months ago and road was quite bad.
Yes we were very lucky with the weather. We just took it slowly over the wash outs and with our airbag suspension it soaked it up easy.

I wish you and your family well and what you are doing is wonderful. As for education: starfish absorb oxygen from water through channels on their outer body and removing it from the water could lead to them suffocating. You can take food for consumption but taking a living creature from its environment or interfering with it for the sake of a video should be discouraged.
I hope you have an amazing time in the south island 😁, I recommend taking time to relax and enjoy the place's you visit. Our 4 months wasn't long enough, hopefully we'll get back again. Life on the road has definitely helped my hubby's health stay stable. and we're definitely going to visit this beautiful spot One day too.

Hi just found your channel, first very sorry to hear about your wife's cancer but looks like she's doing great now which is excellent to see so enjoy your travels. I'm down in the south island and been looking to build a tiny home similar to yours I'm wanting it to be light enough to travel with as well as semi permanent living. Do you have any suggestions, if you happen to do a short video on specs and pros and cons on your build I'd love to see and appreciate that. Anyhow I've subbed and look forward to seeing more of your travels and will look up your other ones. Have an awesome trip around NZ with your family 😊👍 PS I'll have to check out Ngawi when I'm next up north looks a great little spot. Thanks.

I have to finish off getting my house renovated and sold by the end of next year so I still have a bit of time before I start the build yet just looking to get ideas on weight saving costs and trailer builds suitable for travelling with. I like the idea how you sweeped the rear end of trailer up great idea for not dragging/bottoming out through uneven ground, looks like it might work like a skid too when it does drag maybe... I went back through your build videos thanks, Nice idea with the roof and cladding for weight savings. Be really interesting to see after a year or so a short video recap on what held out well and what didn't work so well with your build if possible. How long do you plan to travel for in this stint? Bet you guys are having a blast. Your kids will remember this for the rest of there lives. So cool mate 👍
@@bush600r2 Cool yes it will be interesting to see how it goes after a couple of years travel. We are in Tekapo at the moment with -5 outside and its a toasty 20 inside so all good so far. Keep in touch!
Love your micro tiny house. Can I ask the name of your fire in it? And where you got it? We're thinking of building a tiny like your old one? Just need to find out where to buy a trailer from
I built the fire myself from parts of and old one and a filling cabinet I had in the shed. If you are interested we can sell you plans for the trailer. Let me know.

Yes it’s tare weight is 2.8tons then food and gear etc is 3.2tons
