    Many thanks from Poland (if you know where it is). Best videos. Only one complain could be ... that my neighbors have started hate me immediately I have organized logs, stones and other obstacles near my home and train every free time ;-). It is never to late to train. I used to ride over 25 years ... mainly gsxr :-). One more time thank you!

    Great vids just one problem watching makes me want to return to Qld having spent time there before jumping the ditch. South Island NZ would be pretty hard to beat though.

    THANK YOU so much for this video. This video and skill saved my life. I've been practicing this for fun and it is so much fun. Then one day I out riding and around the corner was a dark shadow. That shadow ended up to be a huge hole in the road caused by a landslide. By the time I knew what was happening all I could do was bounce and braaap. Almost cleared 15ft gap. Thank you and happy trailz. Here's a link to the video of the skills you taught. th-cam.com/video/ZPao9LAKggE/w-d-xo.html

      Smightification green spring and winding out the power valve adjustment till it's flush with the case help a lot to make it more of a pussycat.

    Having owned one in the secret gaden days can you tell me what would you say to someone thinking about using an FE570 for day long to week long adv rides? Keeping my 300 for this sort of stuff so a gravel come rock munching river slurping animal to replace Te630.

    Basically if you can do a bunny hop on a bike you can on a dirt bike just so you dont have to watch the vid if you dont have time

  • @msredleger
    @msredleger 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    What are some techniques you would suggest for lower torque bikes like mine? I ride a DRZ250 american version, and keeping the front end up when I need it to seems to be a monumental feat. This is my bike, and I don't have money to go buy a new more powerful bike.

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      we've done a wheelie video. once you get the technique right the engine power isn't very relevant anymore, only balance and technique. usually getting a more powerful bike just allows to keep using the wrong technique....

    • @msredleger
      @msredleger 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Seen it, loved it. I will keep working. So far, I still have issues. Ill just keep practicing. Thanks for the response.

    is this possible with 125cc 2stroke 22PS ?
    a normal bunnyhop?

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thompson17 the engine isn't the limiting factor as you can just do a controlled drop of the clutch to get the power needed... the main problem is as the bike gets heavier e.g. a DRZ400 will be hard to bunny hop.

    • @Knacka

      CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES okay thank you then I'll try it

  • @yoshyoka

    Could you please give me some advice? My bike is heavy (140Kg) high () I can barely touch the ground when sitting on it, hase little power (about 20Hp) and a very slow trottle response. I am trying to learn the double blip but continue to fail: I land the front wheel where desired, compress the suspension, give the second gas input and.... the engine response is so slow that I still cannot get over the obstacle (about 70-80cm high). Is there something I can do to overcome my bike's shortcommings?

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      140kg and 20hp?! what sort of bike is it? personally i wouldn't even try logs etc with that combination. the double blip is really only a trials bike technique, once you move to dirt bikes the double blip gets harder and its usually easier to just power through... keep the power on and wheelie into the obstacle about 2/3 of the way up to compress the suspension and bounce the bike over.

      CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES I recently moved to Taiwan: here inport tax makes any imported bike unaffordable, so my only choice is a CPI250SM. I managed to go over most logs, carrying some momentum even obstacles 1meter high.. but the double blip seams out of reach :( Thank you anyway: watching your channel really made a big difference!

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      yoshyoka even the top riders would have trouble double blipping your bike, yoshyoka. as mentioned, i would focus on the 'punch technique' for such a heavy bike.

    So, you mean front pull, accelarator, and the accelerated thrust on the rear will wave the front do to the rear, and that's science of balanced handling equation on a ducati devidson

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      i was wondering the same thing six months ago. can even half do them on the DR650 now but wouldn't want to tackle any serious ditches though. :-)

    • @SovaKlr
      @SovaKlr 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would do any deep ditches on my KLR but I think I might be able to make my KDX hop... will have to see. I've done the wheelie across but never actually hopped I don't think. Not on purpose anyway.
