Good Vid, shows how easy logs can be crossed/jumped etc using the correct timing & commitment to the obstacles . I and most seasoned enduro riders can cross logs very well from years of riding and practice, the real nasty log crossings are the Wet/greasy logs, on angles Up/Down & side ways etc, these logs will end up on trails in all types of positions . The punt technic using your front tyre first is now void due to the Slippery angled log taking your front out. You really need to have many log crossing technics in your pocket let's say. Not all logs were created equal. 😉. Great to see Graham doing these Vids 👍
crazy how easy he makes it look. Been trying to blip my front on a log with a trials. Anyone can essentially wheelie over the log, but precision getting your front on then zap is super difficult. Been trying this on my trials for months lol
I just got a trials bike and you are 100% correct, the timing and precision is so difficult to figure out. The nice thing about the trials bike is that it forces everything to be perfect and precise which then makes it easier on the enduro bike!
I think I'll have to make some student only videos as it seems most click off after Jarvis is done explaining and demonstrating the technique...but I'm with you on seeing what the mortals are doing wrong or right. I'll have some footage of me attempting all of this so you'll definitely see what not to do!
@PrimalEnduro yeah I bought a crf450l, after having a 250 street bike, big difference😅 I think i might get a 250. I hit the log and got a little whiskey throttle before I knew it the bike was out from under me it all happened so fast. But yes I understand I need more control. Thanks new 1 finger stunt lever on the way. For better control hopefully
@@PrimalEnduro Yeah I’m starting to learn that I have a four stroke KTM 350 just wondering for things like log crossings or when you need that instant power seems like a two-stroke is the way to go. But never ridden one so no idea.
@endurogrip xr650r That's my entire reason for learning these techniques...I'm never going to be fast, I just want to ride as long as possible in this lifetime! Letting the bike do the work is how Graham is holding off the young guns half his age!
Chain lube on the pivot joint of the boot works to stop the squeaky noise!
Thanks for posting this lads. Really appreciate it.
Thanks for watching!

Please make your vids longer. It nice to watch all the riders attempt the exercises and make note of what not to do.

Watching Graham makes me realize that I really need to work on my static balance.
Watching Graham makes me realize I have to work on everything!
Great video.Jarvis is the King.
4:26 i love this guy's technique, what bike is that wr450 ?
wr250 I believe.
@@PrimalEnduro 👍
No headlight, right? Perhaps a YZ450FX?
1st or 2nd gear? My bike flipped out in first not not so confident 😅
If your bike is "flipping" in first then you need to work on on clutch and throttle control before anything else.

Ang galing talaga ng idol jarvis po.
Guy on the Yamaha is a good rider
Yes, clearly not his first rodeo!
can a stock 150cc 4 stroke do this?
Every bike can do this! It’s the rider’s technique that matters!
@@PrimalEnduro cool! imma practice this :D tnx
Primo Info teaching my son this ;)
Awesome Dad!
Does anyone do these videos using four strokes?
Sure, look at some of our Tim Coleman series. He's on a four stroke. Although, the 2 stroke seems to be the preferred weapon of hard enduro.

@@PrimalEnduro ok thx
4:39 run over the instructor is always a good idea :D
Graham is used to constantly dodging flying bikes!
I would’ve have been much a better rider if I could understand half of what Jarvis was saying 😂
Nobody understands him. He always mumbles
It’s just his accent haha
So it's not just my boots? Good to know...........squuueeeek
Lol, Graham needs some lube for his legs at 2:20! Great vid, though!
Everyone with Sidi boots needs lube! Although at 50 years of age, I think my legs could use a little as well!
