Newfoundland SUV Tour 2022

This video is of my wife Dawn and I's trip across Newfoundland in the summer of 2022. We spent 13 days crossing Newfoundland from Argentia to Port Aux Basques. We arrived in Newfoundland on August 8 and left on August 20th. Enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
Day 1 - Aug 8, 2022
Travelled from Argentia ferry to New Bridge. Visited Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve, Castle Hill National Historical Site, Gooseberry Cove Provincial Park. Camped on the side of the road next to ocean inlet. Went for a ride in our kayaks after supper.
Day 2 - Aug 9, 2022
Travelled from New Bridge to Bouline East. Visited St. Mary's waterfall's, Cape Race Lighthouse, Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve. Stayed in Celtic Rendezvous Cottages with a beautiful ocean view. Decided not to camp because of heavy rain.
Day 3 - Aug 10, 2022
Travelled from Bouline East to St. John's. Visited Bay Bulls, Petty Harbour, Cape Spear National Historic Site, Quidi Vidi. Camped at Pippy Park Campground in St. John's.
Day 4 - Aug 11, 2022
Explored St. John's. Walked around Downtown St. John's, hiked up Signal Hill. Camped at Pippy Park in St. John's again.
Day 5 - Aug 12, 2022
Travelled from St. John's to Northern Bay. Visited Bauline and Manuals River. Camped at Northern Bay Sands Park. Campsite was right next to the ocean, could here waves all night, so peaceful.
Day 6 - Aug 13, 2022
Travelled from Northern Bay to Bellevue Beach. Visited Low Point, Bay de Verde, Blood Point and Dildo. Camped at Bellevue Beach Campground. Went for a bicycle ride around campground after supper.
Day 7 - Aug 14, 2022
Travelled from Bellevue Beach to Elliston. Visited Change Cove, Trinity and Elliston. Camped at Elliston Municipal Park. Campground was only short walk from the puffins. The puffins were amazing, the highlight of our trip!
Day 8 - Aug 15, 2022
Travelled from Elliston to Terra Nova National Park. Visited Cape Bonavista Lighthouse, The Dungeon Provincial Park, Tickle Cove. Camped at Malady Head Campground in Terra Nova National Park. Tickle Cove Sea Arch is amazing.
Day 9 - Aug 16, 2022
Explored Terra Nova National Park. We went for a kayak ride around Southwest Arm, got on the water at 10am and returned at 4pm. Great day on the water, lots of sun not much wind. Stayed at Malady Head Campground again.
Day 10 - Aug 17, 2022
Explored Terra Nova National Park. We went for 2 hikes, first hike was Malady Head Trail, second hike was Coastal Trail, both hikes were very beautiful.
Day 11 - Aug 18, 2022
Travelled from Terra Nova National Park to Twillingate. Visited Lumsden Beach and Newtown. Camped at Peyton's RV Campground in Twillingate. Lumsden Beach is a beautiful sandy beach, amazing.
Day 12 - Aug 19, 2022
Travelled from Twillingate to Springdale. Visited Twillingate Lighthouse, Twillingate, Indian Falls and Glass Beach in Springdale. Camped at George Hunter Memoral Park next to Indian Falls. Glass Beach was a unique find, worth the visit.
Day 13 - Aug 20, 2022
Travelled from Springdale to Port Aux Basques. Visited Pasadena. Left Newfoundland on the Port Aux Basques Ferry, Left Port Aux Basques at 11:45pm on the overnight ferry.
Summary
We spent 13 days in Newfoundland, I would recommend more time if possible, just so much beauty to explore, don't rush it! We covered 2,614 km's over our 13 day trip. Hope you enjoy the video!
