Awesome video. It is so crazy to think that I went to full capacity sporting events in 2020. Seems like 8 years ago. And that opening day shot on the other end of the spectrum, must have been a crazy almost zen moment.
Really liked the creativity of the Red Sox magazine photo with the dirt on the ground and fog in the air. Cannot wait for baseball season! I’m excited with Dombrowski joining the Phillies, although they have so many holes I don’t think this year is going to be great. Sure would be nice to be a Padres fan right now.
Dombrowski will be great for your Phils! He’s a win now type of GM so I foresee a world series in the near future. For the padres too! Thanks for watching.
Thank you for making all of these videos. I've watched and enjoyed them all. I appreciate your unique perspective and presentation style. Happy New Year!
Just discovered your channel so I'm getting caught up. I shoot for the Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League. I also shoot some for the Orioles AA team the Baysox. The last couple of seasons I've created a photobook. Last season I did one when the league moved the pitching rubber back a foot. That book was accepted by the National Baseball Hall of Fame. This season I decided to do a photobook with 1 photo from each game. Enjoy your work.
Awesome idea. This was my first full year shooting sports with an unfortunate break in the middle to learn drone photography. I'm wrapping up my last game of the year and will take some time to pull my favorite photos. It's always fun to look back. Helps to set the next year's goals.
Great video !!! Trust is really important for a sport photographer, confidence between athletes and shooter has to be huge to get great content to the audience. As Sox fan "Quarantine Project" was the BEST. Thanks for the great content and the inspiration... Happy New Year Billie
this is a great idea, this is my forth year photographing High School sports and although I did literally nothing during the middle months I gained so much experience the last three months with shoots for three high schools and misc. jobs. Love your channel and look forward to what you will do next season.
Awesome video, Billie. It is great how you freely offer guidance to the next generation of photographers and provide some neat insight for those of us who are not in the industry. So cool.
Great video, really enjoyed the inside view of MY home team!! The lighting tips and explanations were great and sheds light on how it's done for us true armature photographers.
Hey just discovered your channel, loving the content, the advice you give is great and I’m going to take it forward when I can get out and shoot sports again once the UK 🇬🇧 is out of lockdown and grassroots sports start again. Keep up the great work 🤙
Great video Billie. Some superb back room and behind the scenes images. It’s good to look back at your images as you say each year and note how you’ve improved as a photographer. The problem is when I look back at mine, my best images are from a few years ago 😜. All the Best for the New Year.
This was amazing to watch - how it’s set up and done. And I realize much is really based on your creative and analytical mind to say, what if we try this?
i just got a canon eos rebel t7 for christmas and have watched some of your videos, which are awesome btw. but i’ve always wanted to see the worst photos out of a photographers 2,000 some photos they take each game. just to see with the amazing pro gear what makes the photo bad, whether is blurry out of focus or bad lighting. i hope what i said makes sense, i feel it sounded confusing.
It makes perfect sense! Most times we only see the best of the best from photographers, but never the bad frames. There are always blurry/out of focus shots in any sports photographers sequence, most people just don't show it. Go check out @missedphoto on twitter.
New year, new room, same me. What are your photography resolutions for 2021?
cant wait to post my end of year review/ growing pains/ mistakes. i just got my first camera in March
Thanks for the suggestion. Just went through and picked out photos that caught my eye from the past year! Happy New Year and good luck in 2021!
Awesome, love to hear it! Have a great 2021. Thanks so much.

It really does seem like a different lifetime ago. Let's hope 2021 brings back some of those full capacity events - or something close to it!

Thank you!! Had a lot of great people helping me along the way, so it's important to pay it forward somehow.
Love the recap and the opportunity to reflect on the growth and things to work on in the year ahead! Happy New Year, Billie!
Happy new Year! Thanks again!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, a lot of thought goes into every image. Rare that it happens randomly!
