    Like the video. I use Lightroom to manage organize and edit my photos. I do like Lightroom’s ability to batch edit photos. Adjust light balance exposure clarity reduce noise one one photo then paste all those changes to a batch. Very helpful in bad lite high school gyms.

      Totally! Lightroom is a great resource for batch editing and adjusting all of those elements. Just comes down to personal preference!

    Once again. Another clear and concise vid. Appreciate it. I was using Lightroom for culling and editing up until 7 months ago. I finally made the switch to Photo Mechanic and Camera Raw. I am currently exploring shortcuts to make my workflow faster. Please keep this going even after the season starts up again. BTW. Strawberry Ice Cream First. Thanks Billie.

    I have been a photography hobbyist since birth but within the last four years I have branched out into convention photography and I've become quite familiar with Lightroom. I am pleased to see that you and I come from the same school of thought regarding not straying too far away from the center for edits. I do want to know what I may be missing for using Lightroom for my editing over Photoshop and you may have just answered that question for me. Thank you for a very simple and informative video!

    Thanks for this video Billie... Im a Hobbyist shooting my local Club baseball in West Australia for the past 5 yrs and its good to know that the way i have been editing is similar to yours and I'm going the right way. You had some great tips in there which i went back and applied to some recent shots and they look way better... Many Thanks

    Thank you for another great video, and yes I like PS but I only retouch the portraits of my models with PS.
    After using Capture NX 2 for years I had to change to another editing software so I started with Lightroom and it was ok for editing my sports photos (soccer and tennis).
    Now I've made a third change in editing software, I made a change to Capture One for Nikon and love it, love it more than working with Lightroom.
    What I don't like about Lightroom and Capture one is working the catalogs!
    For the rest, I like the way you show your workflow and how you like the colors to pop! Thanks for sharing this with us.

    Love these kinds of videos. Keep it up!
    I shoot mostly football, almost always afternoon games so lots of sun & clouds. For that I shoot in RAW and use Photo Mechanic to cull and label the images before pulling them into Lightroom for basic batch processing, cropping, and individual tweaks. Works like a charm.
    The Camera Raw filter in Photoshop is 99% the same as the Lightroom editor. So if you know one you know the other.

    Thanks for the content - very informative. where do you put your photos before you drag them to PS . Just rewatched, its photo mechanic.When editing the thousand you shot in a game, do you download all of them ?

    • @billieweiss7681
      @billieweiss7681  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I try to delete most of the blatantly bad or unusable images in camera before I ingest. So usually per game, I end up ingesting about 1000 files, and finishing with a final edit of 50-75 images.

    • @billieweiss7681
      @billieweiss7681  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just what I learned on and what I feel most comfortable with! Plus sometimes shooting for wire services they have actions/commands that are built for photoshop only.
