    I'll confess that I didn't think I'd care for a doily pillow, but I am wowed by yours - that Liberty fabric on the back just makes it a gorgeous piece!!! I do both knit and crochet, & in the crochet realm I enjoy making the whole gamut from doilies & filet crochet name doilies to wearables to rugs. Who is this Kristin that is finishing ALL THE THINGS! 😂 wowza that William Morris quilt is so lovely and the new Kaleidoscope quilt is so intricate and complex…. Ah to have the patience and I do not . Here’s a thought about that dining room dilemma , what about a large doily (like wall hanging sized) mounted on some lovely fabric and framed? I really need to craft up some home decor myself. I’m having throw pillow envy! 🤭

    I feel your pain about the measurements of the quilt pieces. I cut an entire quilt out of Kaffe Fassett fabrics with a too short wedge shape. After much remembering and frustration, I found an errata on the book publisher’s website.

    Beautiful FOs. I couldn’t see all of the quilt top made with Wm Morris prints but would that one be suitable for your dining room? When you were showing the first one I was thinking hmm a quilt made with Wm Morris prints would work on a dining room wall and boom you had one of those too lol! 😊

    I saw one white lamp, and your doily makes me think that it will be very pretty if I find a way to glue it to the shade 🤔

    • @Voolenvine
      @Voolenvine  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh wow! That would be a great idea 😍It'll require some math, but if you make the center chain loop the same circumference as the top opening of the lampshade and modify a doily pattern to be a greater multiple of the number of given stitches in the first round ... it could totally work! 💡

  • @JoyWandrey

    Your pillow came out great, and I want you to know you are responsible for me finding that pattern and starting one myself. Mine is in a "natural" off-white color, and I have no idea what I will do with it. Since I make bags maybe it will go on a bag? Anyway, thanks for sharing and inspiring us!
