Its because they are powered by happiness and he was angry first time but second time he was happy to show Hercules how he dealt with those guys thousands of years ago
Holy Shit! I just realized...this movie is ultimately just an animated remake of "Superman" (the same way that "Aladdin" was an animated remake of "The Thief of Baghdad")! :O
Yeah, I mean Hercules is man from another world, who posses magnificent strength, raised by farmers, and he literally wears red and blue. Meg is a strong headed damsel who is in constant need of rescuing. And Hades is a sleazy dealer who makes devious plots to over throw and rule the world.
Hercules is an underrated Disney film from the renaissance which when I was little I went to Disney world I don’t remember seeing Hercules at the parks
Hades not realizing Hercules wasn't dead becomes worse in the TV midquel series as they interact pretty often and this takes place during Herc's teen years while in the movie Hades doesn't know till we see Meg and Hercules isn't aware of Hades until they make their first deal
The least Disney could have done was acknowledge the blood ties between Zeus, Hades and Hercules. Zeus and Hades are brothers, Zeus and Hercules are father and son, making Hercules and Hades nephew and uncle.
For a move about Greco-Roman lore it seems to draw a lot the Judeo-Christian faith even us "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." as the Hercules gets his immortality back. Side note, "Nobody fucks with the British."? We won the war, Redcoat.
I watched that movie as a kid, and I thought it was okay. But today, it was a great movie. And, yes, the biggest problems in this movie is the plot holes.
Hades:How do you kill a god?
Panic:You can't, they're immortal!
Me:Kratos would beg to differ
Me: KKHTA Toyohime also has you covered for that matter.
I'd find Disney's Hercules to be underrated gem from Disney
Hercules is such an underrated animated film and quite a good one from the Disney Renaissance!

But they are Disney remakes with that trademark Renaissance Era quality (especially Aladdin) from RonJohn!
Disney's "Hercules" might have been fun, but (say what you will) "Cats Don't Dance" had class. ^^
What about Anastasia?
Two things - Meg will always be my Disney crush, and the scene with the red and blue snakes getting beat up was awesome!
I still love this movie. And Hades is still a favorite villain of mine.
Sir Isaac maybe the lightning bolts not working before Hercules involvement had something to do with the planetary alignment
Having godhood and deserving it are two different things. That's why Hercules had to prove himself worthy.

24:12 considering how there's other notches in the scissors, I'm guessing this isn't the first time something like this has happened.
"It opens with narration!!!" My Moses himself Charlton Heston. Just hearing him say you go girl is hilarious
With all this movie's plot holes,I can kinda I see why WarnerBrothers beat it.

24:30 - to be honest if Hercules gained all his immortality in the end, why doesn't somebody nail him to the fucking cross.😂😂
One often meets his fate on the path he takes to avoid it.
I do own this movie on VHS, and I didn’t even notice it.

woah...what happened during Herc's basic training? You're talking softer than the footage!

Is it just me or does the audio sound strange at 12:57?
Not just you
6:23 good line though
Disney wanted the Spice Girls to voice the muses XD at first
24:35

hey media hunter I have a request, please review the super mario bros movie
Cody Van Der Donk p
wait, what's the sequel?
For Hercules? It was technically midquel called Hercules: Zero to Hero
Was that majora's mask at 8:45
That means... (Me Looking Up And Seeing The Moon From Majora’s Mask) Uh oh.
At 19:36 it's kind of ironic in hindsight that Brandon would become a Brony later on!

I'd actually liked Cats Don't Dance
Glad nobody tried to compare the movie to the actual greek story’s. Because it would be rather… well pointless.
