What is the point of a comment like that? You say bad camera angles, but don't offer any alternatives. If you don't like it, don't watch. Who raised you? Crawl back into your hole and shut up!
Sweet little bowl DD! Welcome back to the tube! I’m still MIA, be back soon. Enjoying “not” making videos for a while, my shoulder is getting back to normal! Well done as always!👍🏻👍🏻
Lovely apple bowl. Love apple with all its color and movement. It does offer “surprises” sometimes. This live edge piece is great. Probably won’t last long at your first show.
Nice to see you back in the shop. I definitely was expecting another piece this week. I have never turned apple either, that grain pattern looks great though!
Nice little live edge bowl. If you chance across some green, as in freshly cut, apple, pear or other fruit woods give it a try. Beautiful to turn compared to your well seasoned piece. Also the bark stays attached far better. I live on an orchard farm in the UK amongst ten thousand cider apple & Perry Pear trees so it's nearly all I turn. Also just offering a bit of friendly advice that I hope you'll take as such. I spotted your remount jaws attached to a chuck hanging on the wall. The jaws are cast aluminium and the chuck is steel which are incompatible alloys and will eat eachother alive if left together for an extended time. It's called galvanic corrosion. Land rover defender owners can tell you all about it lol 😂. An aluminium body bolted to a steel ladder chassis was always a bad Idea from day one.
Bad camera angles made it impossible to see you turning. And very poor dialog while you turned. Worst video I have ever seen!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I appreciate the uplifting feedback, as well as the supportive nature of your comment!

Nice little bowl. Welcome back missed you always watch you daring my breakfast on Saturday morning.
Thanks for the continued support, my friend! Glad to be back!
how to keep the bark on and is this food safe?
The finish is indeed food-safe. You can use some thin CA glue around the bark to help it stay on, but that would only be needed if it's loose.
Beautiful little bowl, brother!
It was great to spend time with you when you visited!
Thanks, Seth! Always a great time!!!!

Thanks, Doug! I appreciate that!
That's nice, Daniel. It's good to see you again. I can sympathize with not being in the shop. Being retired doesn't guarantee shop time either.
Bill
Thanks, Bill! Always appreciate your kind words and support!

Thanks, John! It was very nice, and I recommend!
Nice! I love to turn apple and have made things out of it since I was a kid.
Thanks for the feedback! I did think it turned very well!
Welcome back. Nice piece.
Thanks, Jonathan. It's good to be back!

Thanks for the idea, and I certainly will try some green when I can! And thanks for the feedback on the chucks!
Really well done! Under “Tools I Use” could you mention which Rikon Lathe you are using? Thanks!!!
Sure, I can list it. It's the Rikon 70-3040.
