Or in other words, start a time table which keeps you busy and away from bad habits, and after following for a while, your mental health will be better, and you will start enjoying harder challenges as a result.
What I freaking love about Hamza is that if you would do every single with he says and even blindly trusted him, your life would get 350% better. He gives you a literal guide for a good life, be grateful for that and do the freaking things he says. Just do it and you‘ll see the benefits for your whole life.
This is definitely true! I’m the kind of guy who is always trying to find the “correct answers” when it comes to things like social situations, diet, exercise, finances etc. and Hamza is one of the only people on TH-cam (and maybe Jordan Peterson) that gives you a step by step guide to life. I know that may turn some people off, but as a guy who already loved routines and schedules before I even discovered Hamza in August 2022, helped me double down on it even more and add exercise into my routine. He saved my life after I broke up with my first girlfriend in June this year. I’m now 20 years old, and changed my major in college from political science to NURSING, and have already been volunteering at my hospital for the past 4 months and am trying to become a Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse :)
@@biscuittownd65 That’s absolutely incredible man I wish nothing but the best for the rest of your journey. Im starting to take myself serious in 2023 especially in fitness so I’m gonna have to be more disciplined with things I don’t like.
It took me a while to embrace hard work, I was a Jeffrey for most of my self improvement journey, but then I started to see how my mental health improved when I was being productive, how nofap and cold approaching was boosting my confidence, how working on self improvement TH-cam videos was motivating me in my day to day life and bringing this passion out of me I didn't see before, etc... Just know that instant gratification isn't worth it, the grass is truly greener on the other side
I think discipline is the main factor of getting work done. So guys if you're starting out your self improvements just like me you should consider working on your self discipline skills. Do the hard work especially when you don't feel like it 😘
Thank you, I'm a 13 year old from Romania and i was chubby most of my life, everyone made fun of me but now that i started eating fairly better and working out i seen changes in only 2 months, I would say a 20-25% Body fat, and it really motivates me to keep going and your videos aswell, my family is poor and humble and hopefully i can change that to just wealthy, my genetics blessed me with being 6'1 and pretty decent muscle recovery. Thank you god, and Hamza ❤️

How I Tricked My Brain To Like Doing Hard Things 1. I started by breaking down the task into small, manageable parts. By breaking down a large task into smaller pieces, it makes it easier to focus and feel more accomplished as I make progress. 2. I created a reward system for myself. Every time I completed a task, regardless of how small it was, I rewarded myself with something I enjoy like a book, a movie, or a sweet treat. 3. I used positive affirmations and mantras to keep myself motivated. I told myself that I was capable of completing the task and that I could do it if I worked hard enough. 4. I set a deadline for myself and told myself that I would finish the task by a certain date. This gave me a sense of urgency and made me more committed to achieving my goal. 5. I enlisted the help of others. When I felt overwhelmed, I asked for help from family and friends. Having someone to talk to and cheer you on can make a huge difference. 6. I made sure to take regular breaks. Taking breaks helped me to stay focused, refreshed, and motivated to keep going. By following these steps, I was able to trick my brain into liking doing hard things. Although hard tasks can be difficult and time consuming, breaking them down into smaller parts, rewarding yourself, and talking to others can make it easier to stay motivated and finish the task.
What Hamza talks about at 8:00 has a name. It is the "contrast" effect. It is a principle of human perception, which affects the way we see the difference between two things, presented one after the other. It can be very effective in many ways. If I am not mistaken, Robert B. Cialdini talks about it in: "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion". Besides that very good video Hamza, keep it up.

Hamza what you said in the last 2 minutes really resonated with me. It made me realize I’ve literally done that without knowing… To get rid of my social anxiety and fear of talking to girls, back in 2020, I would literally drive to Walmart and try to talk to any random girl I see. The way I saw it, if you can talk about bread with a mom, then you can definitely talk to a girl at your college because you have way more in common, and after hundreds of terrible approaches, it worked and I got a lot better over time to the point where now I literally can talk to anyone I see in public on the drop of a dime. I went out and did the hard thing so the easier thing doesn’t now seem as hard. I didn’t even necessarily realize I was doing that at the time but that’s what it was.
Fresh Navy boot here. I'm in A school right now, and I can say that Boot Camp was the best time of my life. I say this because we didn't have our phones, but we had each other. This extreme dopamine detox for 3 months lead to a new appreciation of life. I say that boot camp is better than A school because I've fallen back into the trap of modernity. I'm back addicted to p*rn and TH-cam and it isn't getting my mental health anywhere. This new year I'm going to drastically reduce my usage, so I can return to my best self. 6:01 is so relatable when u get used by all the bad habits it doesn't feel anything fun doing bad habits too it's like complete emptiness with no thrive inside
I came across this channel about a month ago. I was not a complete Jeffrey then, I had been going to the gym for a long time and even then I tried to reduce my time on social networks and completely quit games. But this channel still influenced me a lot. I started reading, meditating and many other good habits. I also began to study the topic of business as I realized that only business can give the income that I want. So I will continue my journey and I want to leave this comment so that I can return here in a year, becoming more like Adonis. And thank myself for the delayed gratification I chose now.
One thing most people do is that They watch Self improvement Videos And don't do nothing about it. Stop watching And start Implementing. The issue is watching self improvement makes you feel like you're doing the hard work yet you're doing nothing
Thank you for making these videos hamza they inspired me to start doing karate and start working out 3 times a day and to start eating healthier but before i found your channel I would play video games 24/7 and eat garbage all the time. Thank you for all the motivation.
Lose the ego and don’t stop guys. I used to go to the gym once a month, and every time I’d either work too hard to impress people (who honestly didn’t care) or I’d workout, miss the next gym session and then think “ah well I missed a day, I’ll start over next week.” And then start up again a month later. Just keep going, if you have the courage and strength to work out, do it. I’d workout maybe once a week, but every time I went I felt better, eventually I tried a little harder and go twice a week. Now I go 3x a week and I am finally starting to see significant changes after 3 months. My arms are pretty big, my heavy lifts are getting huge, and my confidence is up massive. Sometimes I fail my diet, but the very next day I’m back on the chicken and rice. Eventually eating healthy and working out will feel like getting a W in Apex, finishing is one of the most gratifying feelings, don’t give up!
I think stoicism is the main thing you need to learn, and once you realize that you shouldn't feel emotions towards things you cant control. You will become Unstoppable! Great video as always Hamza.

what an amazing video, thank you so much hamza,I have started exercising for 3 weeks consistently and even my teachers are noticing my height increase, Thank you so muchh
0:45 that is so true. That was me, 1 on 1. Two thirds of the time I pretended to have forgotten my sport clothes or that I had belly ache. That was like 3-4 years ago when I was 13-15. Now I am the most motivated one (graduating in 1,5 years) 18 years old, trained, disciplined, motivating the others so they dont sit around for too long before they start the exercise we were given and therefore getting a bad grade. They start so lame when the teacher says "go". However, I felt that
I've been watching less TH-cam. But Hamza reads my mind. He knows what videos I need and when. Here's something you should encourage among your viewers Hamza. I LEAVE MY PHONE AT HOME WHEN I GO TO THE GYM.
I want to completely stop using my phone and social media for a week now and get rid of my bad addictions but it's incredibly boring while for example eating and watching nothing or pass time throughout the day
I am grateful for this year as it brought me into the world of self improvement and introduced me to this amazing creator. Happy New Year Hamza and have a wonderful year ahead!
I discovered your channel last week and its improved my mental health alot. Not alot of men talking on this level and i thank you for helping all of us💪🏽
Hey Hamza! My good Habits is about, I wake up to wash my face and do stuff that needs to be cleaned before doing my routine, I read books 15 min, do workouts and yoga, do arts, practice draw, and repeat in daily! My life is getting to work as a janitor, After that, im doing my animations because I'm an animator to try my best to become the best animating youtuber of all. Because animation is good as become smart and creativity. But my bad habits I need to avoid is GAME... That's why I need to avoid games as best as I could to change myself into a newer self.
I know it's off topic but like how come lucid dreaming isn't a part of self improvement, it literally allows you to practice real life skills whilst your asleep which not only gives you more time to practice skill or certain aspects of life but since it's a dream theres literally no risk involved which mean it doesn't matter if you fuck up or not. This can be incredibly helpful, for example if you were trying to improve your social skills wouldnt it be much easier to implement techniques in a dream world were nothing matters rather than in real life or maybe your trying to learn a backflip or some shit and you don't want to risk injuries lucid dreams are the perfect place to practice the possibility are almost endless. Of course you want to also practice in real life also it's just that it's much easier learning a new skill or practicing one your not very good at riskfree. This is not some bullshit what you decide to practice in the dream world will directly correlate to real life. I truly think that lucid dreaming is worth learning and should be talked more about. And self improvement aside wouldn't just be cool to do whatever you desire whilst being fully in control of your dreams. Takes a few weeks or months to learn about a year to master but the return on investment is fucking massive.
ive been improving my menta and physical health for a few months now and im trying to get my home boy out with me at the gym, thank u for everything hamza
Thank you Hamza for pumping out another great fundamental video. I respect what you are doing, like the aspects of creating goals in a time table or the philosophy of facing toughness creates a tough mind.
One thing I like about myself is my natural desire to conquer difficult stuff. I'm a big dreamer but I'm also great at transferring ideas into actionable steps
@@zaid_saleem my ability to break down big things into tiny steps is something I’d realized is a gift. Because I thought everyone could do it but guess not. Here’s some tips of how my brain works. I focus on the problem I’m trying to solve as the standard. I don’t waste time over thinking. So I’m just very emotionless at times as say does “A” bring me closer to my goal or “B” and if both then does “A” align better with my strengths and weaknesses or”B” Then I choose the plan based on that. Then I break it down what can I do on a 4 hour daily time frame to chip away to awards my goal. What are hindering factors of progress. Identify obstacles and eliminate them RUTHLESSLY, video games friends who don’t share the same goals, family members who want to control your life Once we make a plane you must foster as much control over your environment as possible to push your growth. Because no matter how good your plans are if you’re a fish in a desert the likelihood of you thriving is low. So if your plan means a lot to you, then we have to have the kind resolve to say we will crush anything that gets in our way

Hamza one of the biggest defining traits of Adonis is helping his brothers. How do you approach someone you care about, who clearly needs self improvement, yet is in complete denial of their deteriorated mental state? Especially if they are unaware that there is a better way of existing.
5:44 i've reached that level before but thank god i came back to normal and have fun with "normal" things and a "normal" life, but i admit that gym still not that fun yet
1:58 you finally took my advice Hamza. You now admit that motivation is better than discipline. Motivation: love what you do Discipline: force to do what you hate Is that simple. I know you're making this video because you saw my last comment
Motivation does not exist. It's a bitch tactic to tell yourself there is a reason to not do something. If you remove the concept of motivation, you will notice no negative differences, only that you have one less excuse
Hamza is not like every youtubers who give life advices. He just give the pure answers and gives the core point when other youtubers just make for fame and money. I'm really greatful for the cult. I was really a jeffrie, I've improved a lot on myself. I can now flex my chest and found the best version of mine. There's more to improve myself. Have a great day guys!

Today is the first day I am following my time table. I woke up at 5:30am and it’s 8:15 right now I have worked out and swam already today. Normally I would still be asleep right now. Thank you hamza
Incredible how you make so many quality videos
It's all about changing how you view yourself. Physical change is a reflection of mental growth.
Hamza's videos from the day i saw them started to change me from a person that found difficulty in even brushing my teeth to somebody who is obsesed with their looks smell good breath health work and routine this was the best thing that happened to me thank you Hamza
Bro just drops the exact video I need the moment I need it
Can't keep getting away with this
started jogging at 5 am before the sun comes up because i watched hamza’s last video for about 3 minutes
Curry tax 😎👍 here early boyos
6:01 is so relatable when u get used by all the bad habits it doesn't feel anything fun doing bad habits too it's like complete emptiness with no thrive inside
I’m 15 and today I’m starting self improvement wish me luck
I came across this channel about a month ago. I was not a complete Jeffrey then, I had been going to the gym for a long time and even then I tried to reduce my time on social networks and completely quit games. But this channel still influenced me a lot. I started reading, meditating and many other good habits. I also began to study the topic of business as I realized that only business can give the income that I want. So I will continue my journey and I want to leave this comment so that I can return here in a year, becoming more like Adonis. And thank myself for the delayed gratification I chose now.
HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL🌏🌍🌎
May the Adonis be with you🗿
A Perfect video for new year resolution!
2:53 how did bro get cameras on me 😂
Lose the ego and don’t stop guys.
I am very grateful for the value that your advice added to my life during the past year, Hamza. I wish everyone an equally happy and successful 2023.
I think stoicism is the main thing you need to learn, and once you realize that you shouldn't feel emotions towards things you cant control. You will become Unstoppable! Great video as always Hamza.
If you want to learn stoicism, get a book called “The Daily Stoic” by Ryan Holiday.
@@TheSonOfAspectInHisBasement thank you for the reply brother, I'm currently reading meditations by Marcus aurelius and it really highlights how stoicism can be used in your day to day life, great book I would highly recommend if u haven't read it yet
Bro thing i love about hamza is that he just says the truth and if you follow his steps your life will be a lot better than before.
I think for people (including me) when you watch these videos, it makes me feel like a loser, and that encourages me to change my lifestyle.
what an amazing video, thank you so much hamza,I have started exercising for 3 weeks consistently and even my teachers are noticing my height increase, Thank you so muchh
Hamza I love you doing the work especially when I don’t feel like it ❤
I want to completely stop using my phone and social media for a week now and get rid of my bad addictions but it's incredibly boring while for example eating and watching nothing or pass time throughout the day
Quit midway of an intense leg day, this video encouraged me enough to get back and finish it, even harder than before
Am a 15 year old and I just finished 50 push-ups non-stop that I did while watching the video.
I wanna do 200 before the video ends
Happy new year
Happy new year, comrade's!
How do you do that brother? got any tips?
👍👍🔥
@@zaid_saleem my ability to break down big things into tiny steps is something I’d realized is a gift. Because I thought everyone could do it but guess not.
Here’s some tips of how my brain works.
I focus on the problem I’m trying to solve as the standard. I don’t waste time over thinking.
So I’m just very emotionless at times as say does “A” bring me closer to my goal or “B” and if both then does “A” align better with my strengths and weaknesses or”B”
Then I choose the plan based on that.
Then I break it down what can I do on a 4 hour daily time frame to chip away to awards my goal.
What are hindering factors of progress. Identify obstacles and eliminate them RUTHLESSLY, video games friends who don’t share the same goals, family members who want to control your life
Once we make a plane you must foster as much control over your environment as possible to push your growth. Because no matter how good your plans are if you’re a fish in a desert the likelihood of you thriving is low.
So if your plan means a lot to you, then we have to have the kind resolve to say we will crush anything that gets in our way
@@michaeledenOfficialChannel ayy thanks a lot man, may you have a great future ahead.
@@zaid_saleem if you're watching hamza at this young age You have a better future then me bro. I wish I had a channel like this when I was 18-24. I'm 28 now we got this bro go for your dreams!
Millenial Thinker x Hamza?? Ayoo
I'm so glad you're doing this for people Hamza. I really love seeing people pushing really powerful and positive messages on this platform. People really need to take control of my life. I was one of them who let go of the reigns for a bit, and I suffered from it. This year takes the Worst Year title but I have at least planted some seeds along the way.
I pray they grow next year, and will work hard to make it so. Also, my ass is going back to the gym.
Happy New Years guys.
Thank you hamza, you changed my life.I’ve learned a lot in your videos, keep inspiring others
Because of your videos man I’ve been hitting the gym and watching my diet, thank you man.
Probably your best video to date. Speaking absolute facts. And this is coming from someone who stopped watching you.
Happy new year man. You helped me find the way
Finally a genuine young male influencer who isn't constantly flexing or trying to flog a 'course'. Very refreshing
Hamza is doing God's work lately.
This is the perfect vid to end this year
Im doing 3push ups evry one 1 to not waste time and stay productive i love your work hamza
I am a girl and even if this channel is for men I appreciate the things said in this video because even I run away from hard work and hence I have decided to get a cellphone instead of a smartphone.
Just want to say to you HAMZA … Thankyou for waking me up bro !!! You have changed my perception of life . I am grateful for people like you ! Thanks man x
one of the best videos in a while
Lots of respect, your videos have helped me through so much these past 6 months
Happy new years everybody🎉🎉🎉
Hamza one of the biggest defining traits of Adonis is helping his brothers. How do you approach someone you care about, who clearly needs self improvement, yet is in complete denial of their deteriorated mental state? Especially if they are unaware that there is a better way of existing.
5:44 i've reached that level before but thank god i came back to normal and have fun with "normal" things and a "normal" life, but i admit that gym still not that fun yet
I really needed to hear this.
Damn
1:58 you finally took my advice Hamza.
You now admit that motivation is better than discipline.
Motivation: love what you do
Discipline: force to do what you hate
Is that simple. I know you're making this video because you saw my last comment
You need discipline to get consistent motivation because by then motivation becomes passion
Motivation does not exist. It's a bitch tactic to tell yourself there is a reason to not do something. If you remove the concept of motivation, you will notice no negative differences, only that you have one less excuse
@@gernhardzwischenknuppeln4383 not worth the argument.
Da something wrong with youtube... Nink ayakunna msg onnum snt akunilla... Dm me bruhh ( micky_minder )
Hamza u fixed me , from playing Minecraft all day and hating working out i now love working out and love playing chess, thank you , and happy new year
Happy new year brother
Im 14 and TBH the only times that I play games is when my little brother tells if I want to play with him and as the brother that I am I would go and play with him, max for like 40 minutes because I'm aware of the addicting life of video games and after I finish with brother I would go back to Journaling
