Thank you so so so so much, I've learnt so much in this 9minutes more than my college ever taught me. I'm not sure if it's my short attention span or the lecturer is just plain boring in explaining stuff, once again thank you
thank you for this tutorial. i really needed this indesign practice for my upcoming magazine spread project. i love how you get straight to the point, please keep up the good work!
I wish I would have known about changing letter to outline so it can become a object months ago! I needed to make a M huge but did it the hard way by making it a dropcap and manually increase the size lol. Your way was much easier. Oh well never to late to learn something new. Great video
Perfectly precise and to the point Thank you so much for the lovely tutorial I was looking for the detailed tutorial and glad I found your channel..keep up the good work ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey, thanks for this beautiful video, I actually tried doing it and everything worked very well till I reached the text wrapping and it didn't work with me. I've watched u r video many times to know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm following ur way and still don't know what Is wrong. 4:36 so when I create an outline and finish styling my letter i go to text wrap after selecting the letter only not the whole square, after that, I click on the wrap-around object shape with the margins and pulling the text to the letter it goes above it like I haven't done anything ?? what can I do
I just have one on my website right now but working on more! If you're looking for this particular template, it's available for purchase here www.lyhstudio.com/members, you'll also get access to all the other templates :)
I'm new to indesign, thank you! I have a question, you appear to have given yourself margins, but your images go over these margins, what's the point in having margins if you don't stick to them? Thanks!
Hahaha, great point! Some of that is because I simply want the images to be full bleed (fill up the whole page), and those images will never respect the margins.
Hello, May I know what Size of the page/ preset you used on the double-page spread? Additionally, I think you should make content in different presets for default magazine sizes. btw I'm a new subscriber. Glad I found this interesting channel :)

The guide won't show up for print, but if you want it to not show up you'd have to go back to guides and check the "delete existing guides" and create a new one with 0 column and rows.

Hi, what is the measurements for the art board and in what unit?
a spread of 8.5 inches by 11 inches (letter sized)
It doesn’t work for me. With the example of the V: The text is still in a square. 6:10
Hmm, was the "V"selected when applying the text wrap?
It's very good, thanks to you 😃
This program is for coffee table books?

Thank you!
Don’t be afraid, just embrace it.
Hey! Great Video! Which City ist your Second picture in the dark with the example with the V?

Great! Which format? A4?
What was the margin size for your pages?
In this video 0.5" but recently I've been using 0.625" for a more contemporary look.

Hi there, just found your site this year. and im enjoying learning your vids. with Indesign, how is it handling high definition image? if i drag an HD image like a photo, will it downscale before printing? or is there an option for that?
It depends on what you export the file as. Try playing around with export options, you can choose the quality of the final images.
Great! How to change the language?
I'm actually not sure but I think you might have to reinstall and do it from Creative Cloud
Why text wrap is not working for me :(
Did you select the object before trying to apply text wrap?
@@lyh_studio yes, I just realized I didnt click Outline! Haha now it works :)
clean
What app is this??? Thanks!
Adobe Indesign

Of course, ask away
