For anyone who wants to use one of the vect images but it’s premium. Just hold click and save it to photos and than upload to illustrator and go to object image trace make and expand the image than ungroup and save it as a png. U can than use it in indesign and other creative cloud applications.
I really looove this. It looks complicated but it's easier than I thought! Thanks for helping out newbie designers like me
Very cool - i particularly like and will use, the "brush mask' techinique!
really simple and classy. Loved it

I didn't realize that InDesign has a primitive autotrace feature. That's pretty handy!
Yup! Just be careful when using it - it's not suuper precise
This is more of an enrichment, working on a brochure and such ideas are just kicking in with a lot of creativity ideas... Thanks so much.
Glad it was helpful!
gracias
very cool :))))
thanks man, InDesign is so foreign to me compared to Photo and AI. I'll be sure to mention you in my grad speech lol!!
omg free grad speech shoutout?

Thank you!
This is a great and easy tutorial to follow. How do you make the texts go around the deer picture and the man??
Great question, it's called Text Wrap and I go over it in this video - th-cam.com/video/5Z3ZQmFM9LM/w-d-xo.html
Nice idea! thank youuuu. How did you create the text not overlapping on the image?

Hey great work man!! I have a problem copying and pasting from illustrator to indesign. It pastes it in but as an image. Is there any way to fix that? Thanks!
Dis you download an EPS file? When you open it in illustrator is it a vector or raster file?
@@lyh_studio it was rather strange. i mean from the same ai file i took one of the brushes, copy and pasted it in InDesign and it was like an image (photo), i took one more simplified from the same ai file, i copied and pasted it in InDesign and it was vector. I couldn't figure it out.
MY INDESIGN NOT SHOWING SYMULTANEOUS CHANGE AS I CLICK FILTER OR ANY ...IF INLY VISIBLE WHEN I CLICK OK OR APPLY WHAT SHOULD I DO
Sorry Prashant, I don't think I'm understanding your question, your InDesign doesn't show changes live?
Hi, can I ask how were you to put your properties on the right side?
Hey! You can actually drag any panel via the little vertical lines at the top of each panel so you can arrange them however you like.
How did you get the text box to wrap around the image
I cover that here! th-cam.com/video/fosjcGgpKhc/w-d-xo.html
where have you been all my life!
I gotchu!
How did the image merge into the brush stroke
You just have to drag it in! (If I understood your question correctly)
Hey man, came across your channel by coincidence. A fortunate coincidence.
I have a suggestion if you take those. I'm setting up a small business, and I've been wondering about designing a unified set of document templates - internal and public facing documents like letters, emails, reports, etc. I would love to see a professional's take on this.
Hey, I don't think I 100% understand what you mean here but feel free to email me at sam@lyhstudio.com and we can talk further :)
Omg I really wish you sit beside me teach me how 😂 where can I download
Website still in the works but there'll be an option to book me when that's up!
Im using indesign 2.0 for years. recently i had to reinstall it and now i cant drag and drop pictures from desktop - its infuriating! i get a circle with a bar symbol and i dont know what to do to fix it.
anyone have any ideas?
Hmmm not sure about this one, I don't think I've ever seen this before
Whats the size of the document
Letter size 8.5" x 11"
IN 2ND PICTURE, WHERE DID YOU GET COLOR, FROM WHERE YOU DRAG IT AND IT BECOME PINK,...........LOST THERE. HELP PLEASE
I just dragged it from the folder it was in haha
i can't do it with vector brush huhu
What's the problem you're having with it?
How old you are
I can NOT get the first example to work, no matter what I do. I know it’s me - I’m taking a step back now before I throw my MacBook out the window!
Worked it out in the end - it was the files types I was using.
Glad you figured it out, do you mind elaborating? Could be helpful for other people as well!
@@lyh_studio Sure, I was trying to achieve this with .SVG files and could not make it work. When I used .AI files it worked right away.
@@danielleshelbourne220 how can you make a picture from google an .AI file then?
@@SYLVER-B It depends on what you're working with - Illustration or a Photo. You'd need Adobe Illustrator, and you'd need to do an image trace unless it's an illustration and you're handy with the pen tool and can redraw over the top yourself (i.e. manual tracing, which might give better results depending on the file type)
most useless video I've seen, just blabbering
Good feedback, how would you suggest I improve?
This work
Which part brotha
Sorry brother my bad it's very good and it's working properly because sometimes it's coming errors but now it's great sorry ❤ and plz make this great design video
