I had to learn English as a foreign language when working with the Chinese, so I know exactly where Jake is coming from.
I did a semester in Prague during my college days and I signed up for a course in American Literature. I didn't realise the other students were all non-native speakers. After getting an 'A' the American professor told me I had very good English.
.. Basically he wants to speak bad broken English. xD
He should have come out with “V have veys of making u talk” in the German accent as an example 🤣
