Tovala tells me that you can fit 4 pans in the oven at once (cooking 2 of the same meal so you can feed 2 people)....but it looks pretty cramped with just 2 pans in there. Can you really fit 4? Would half have to go on bottom or would they all fit on the rack?
That is a good question! I had my delivery halted for the last 2 months due to holidays etc but I have a delivery coming tomorrow actually so I can try to get back to you on that question in the next day or 2.
I like the oven itself, but it would depend on how much you want to spend, the meals themselves come out to around $10 and higher if you do upgrades like a steak. The food is decent, it's just not the cheapest option.

From my personal experience I would say yes. I have been using this oven for about 2 months now, going on 3. I have had tavola meals delivered every week since purchase and I have eaten enjoyed all of them. During Christmas I did let 2 meals expire because I didn't account for all the left over holiday food I would have. The meals are a bit pricey but I think they make up for that in being that the food quality is much higher than any frozen meal. I've enjoyed feeling like I am cooking but not really if that makes sense. The tavola meal selection seems to be lacking in the breakfast area, but plenty of options for lunch and dinner. Yes, I use it as a normal oven all the time, it is much nicer than trying to heat the big oven up and wasting all that energy for something small. You can control and use the steam, bake, broil etc all manually and you can set the desired temps you want. What I really love is that it alerts me on my watch when its done.

I havent checked any updates but there are other brands that worked with it, I believe it was mostly trader joes foods for something like that, you can scan the barcode the same way.

I got my delivery today and I can confirm that you can easily fit 4 pans into the oven with spare space all around them

it is one meal per person so yes, 8 meals would be 4 dinners for 2 people or 8 meals for 1.
