Doug Lloyd .. depends on the skinny jean and depends on the dad. I wear them and granted I am no model but I am not busting out the seams either. Skinny can add to the look or “illusion “ of slim if done properly .

Great tips, I'm 26 and have been struggling with weight loss since my teens, these are very helpful. Some of these I already knew just by trial and error, but some like the raglan shirt tip was definitely something I needed for my arsenal.

You should do a video trying on different cheaper brands of pants and shirts from like Walmart or something lol. I’ll be 100% honest I’ve purchased one or two button ups from Walmart and they actually fit better then my Ralph Lauren before having them tailored. So maybe like a video showing a nice cheap outfit!!!

The last tip about the low cut shoes was a great one and one of the images really made the tailored pants tip click for me, particularly in the length. I just realized that we shorter guys don't need material piling up on our shoes, makes us look like our legs are shorter. Now I need to go fix mine up an inch or so! Thanks!

Another great video. Thanks for the tips. I agree fit is king. If your dress shirt is tugging at the buttons, get a fuller profile shirt pattern. If the shirt arms are stretched tight or creating horizontal bunching, you need a fuller cut shirt or go up to the next size. Keep up the good work.
+10 Style Points for being Super Real in this video and just flat out keeping it real. I know the feeling too about eating a little too much. I prefer to just go on a long walk in a huge park near me on the walking trails while I listen to a podcast or catch up on TH-cam videos on my walk for multitasking. Yes, I even manage to watch your videos too on my 4.5 miles walk. I TRY to do it daily, but that's the goal. I enjoy brisk pace walking far more than being in the gym. But, I'm trying to lose a few waist pounds so my shirts can be tailored in better. In other news, I got new 27 HQ fabric Trousers back from the tailor this week. A dozen of them were all new Lightweight fabric Chinos of various colors that were customed reg hemmed. The others were lightweight fabric Wool and Wool blends that were cuffed. Been improving my Wardrobe since finding the channel over the last 2 months. So Salute to helping me upgrade my style. Work in progress.
However, getting back on topic and something I think that goes along with what your mentioning in the vid with jackets is having some Shirt Jackets for options to use. As long as it's not hot or too warm weather when wearing. But a few Shirt Jackets goes a long way along with a few Sport Coat to give some versatility to your look when your a bit thicker than usual in the midsection.
Good tips. I’m still rocking a 6 pack, but I still follow these rules from time to time.

Dope video. This is how I know you know what you're talking about: had no idea you had a "dad bod" because you follow these tips so well. I follow alot of them myself. When I tell people how much I weigh they are always surprised mostly because I know how to dress for my body type. Two more tips I'll add to the list, confidence and having your own style. Be it a color a pattern or a trend I'm able to get away with a few things because I can wear things comfortably and confidently because it fits my personal curated style.

you should have a podcast OG! keep it up...as the world gets more casual (lazy and don't care what they wear) we dress formal and stylish... thank you for giving your time and knowledge of what you know. If my father was alive he would love your channel. Like my father would say to me ...the world walk in darkness (people not dressing right and not been a light to others) that's why real men walk-in glass toes ( he would shine his shoes and dress with a touch of class and style).

Thanks again Styles! Some helpful tips. I'm 6'4 currently weigh about 215 and I saw in one of your other vids that you said chinos make anybody look good. I found out the hard way and confirmed in this vid I look better rockin slim fit with loafers. I also checked out your chino pants link but that dude only sells up to 32 length. I'm a 34-35 length in that cut. Keep 'em coming Bro.

I needed this today O.G.! Thank you for thinking of us bigger guys. I'm 5'11" and 360. I'm goiong to have surgery but until then I still want to look fresh. I regularly wear my shirts untucked and wear suspenders under the shirt! When I need to dress up I wear the suspenders out. You are right. Suspenders are a Win Win. Thanks again.

Jeff, I've been following you for a while. I was glad that this particular vid is out there for men like me. I also like the best mens body washes 2019, I have been using the Nivea for more than a year and I was happy to see that on the list. Btw, I have 'great legs' and that is why I look okay with Chino pants and Jogger pants... but no way for the ultra skinny!

Another item that is REALLY good for slimming in casual situations are goalie shirts - the shirts goal keepers in soccer wear. They are most often long sleeved, often just *slightly* padded in the shoulders, and do a great job trimming your profile. Often, the patterns on them are very trimming, to boot. If you can find a soccer supply store in your area, that will offer the most variety of styles, but most big box sporting goods stores are likely to have them, if not as wide a selection.
Listen, these type of videos are essential.
I love this dude, OG has the best fashion channel on TH-cam hands down. I love Antonio too, but it's a different vibe on this channel.
I'm a slim dude, but as I get older, battling belly fat is a beast. These tips are spot on.
I definitely co-sign the Blazer route too, single breasted. Plus, overcoats or top coats in the Fall/Winter.
