Yes I love hearing you say these accurate things about my home park. The key to El Toro is a non-wheel seat.
Fr. I thought it was pretty rough for a while this year but then I rode 2nd to back row and it wasn’t so bad. Also this is my home park too

Yup that defently improves the ride my favorite position is the the middle of the last car. If it wasn't for one painfull bump it might even be the best woody ive done so far. Not a big fan of woody's but this one is at least in my top 15 overall and the counter at the moment is 700 creds so ive done a few (f i count the powered, water and mountain coasters its 800).

Agreed on Ka. Fully underrated.
That one changed the game for me to say the least. El Toro is as wild as its name and never slows even one bit throughout.

My personal favorite park in the chain. It’s so hard to top El Toro, Ka and Nitro for top rides. I’ve never been to MM so that will probably change once I finally go, but GAdv is my favorite for sure 🙏🏻
I prefer jersey devil over nitro but SFGA is my favorite too
I recommend giving Top Trill 2 a chance, then speak an opinion : ) Though I get it, it's gonna lose speed on the launch. Looking forward to hitting this park for first time next year, has been a bucket list place. Looking forward to the super boomerang. ALSO GIVE THIS VIDEO A THUMBS UP PEOPLE!
EL toro and Kingda ka are good, but nothing is a better 1-2 punch than steel vengeance and maverick
I’d say SV over toro, toro over maverick, maverick over ka
@Fattyfish7As someone who’s home park is SFGAdv, I can tell you personally while Kingda Ka and El Toro are phenomenal rides, I think El Toro is a little too rough near the end and Kingda Ka is just way too short.
@@ChristopherAdames I loved the end on el Toro best part of the ride just that one painfull bump ( i think where they mated the repair work with the original track). The rest is great to but if it wheren't for that last part it would be just a great drop ans some boring airtime hills.
@@arturobianco848the only part i find rough is the where you mentioned the rework. Bottom of turnaround. Just brace for it, hands up is for negative Gs anyway.
Six Flags Great Adventure has an epic collection of roller coasters and flat rides. I enjoyed my trip a couple years ago. El Toro was insane, Kingda Ka was amazing, Jersey Devil was solid, and all the B&M’s were as expected. The only thing that sucks about this park is the ridiculous loose article policy. However there are rumors they will start adding free lockers to some of their coasters which would be amazing.
Yah I see what you mean Kingda Ka Is a Top 20 for me El Toro And Jersey Devil Are Top 15s.

I just gave in and rented a locker for 10 dollars its worth it if you do a full day in the park
went to SFGA for the first time this year. El Toro is amazing and i think Jersey Devil is a great #2. Great park!

Solid top two. But I think i lean more toward Steel Vengeance + Maverick, X2 + Twisted Colossus and I305 + Twisted Timbers.
Nice vlog! In my books this park has the best top 4 of any park, sorry Cedar Point, Magic Mountain, and Busch Gardens Tampa, but I have yet to visit HersheyPark (next year)
Steel Vengeance Maverick Millenium Force And Gatekeeper Are Better Then Kingda Ka Nitro Jersey Devil And El Toro Imo

Kingda Ka is so legendary (and better than Toro), definitely makes for an awesome top 2.
Hmm My Personal Ranking Is #3 Kingda ka #2 Jersey Devil #1 El Toro
Ka and Toro sit two spots apart in my rankings, so I respect (and in many ways agree) with that opinion!
Nitro is a sneaky hit. You got Ka and Toro on that side, after that it's the DC Comic Coasters, then the focus goes to Devil, but then you remember Nitro is there. It's like, oh yeah, this ride is cool too. Killer ride line-up. The Houdini House is pretty trippy too.

Hi Marc. I'm Marc too :) I went to Great Adventure for the first time earlier this summer and had a great time. Unfortunately Kingda Ka was down but El Toro had just re-opened so I was happy to get to ride that a few times.
Sad this trip is over, I hope you can go on more soon because I love watching these vlogs.
Also I have an opinion on Jersey Devil, I rode in the back row early in the season last year and I found it pretty smooth and just an overall fun ride. It would be cool to experience the Intamin single rail coasters to compare it too, Jersey devil is the only raptor I’ve ridden.

I finally got to ride Kingda Ka for the first time this summer, and it was amazing!! I do prefect Top Thrill for the same reason as you and will definitely miss it for what it was.
I think it's because Kingda Ka is short in ride duration, and most people like longer rides that it's underrated. A lot of people prefer Toro over Ka
Medusa is criminally under appreciated
I feel like I'm an outlier for liking the roughness of El Toro lol. For me that's what makes it special though I am biased since I'm from SE PA so the first experiences I had with wooden coasters were at Knoebels and on El Toro so I may have gotten accustomed to El Toro's bumpiness early on.

Nice clipp again. Done this park a couple of weeks ago (haven't done voyage yet) but Diablo is defentily my number 2 woody so far comes really close to wildfire. If it didn't have that painfull hop i think where they mated the repair work it might even rival that coaster. Everyone keeps talking about that airtime hill and nobody about the twisted second part and in my opnion best part of the lay out (although the first drop isn't to bad either). Except for inverts this coaster has literrly everything.
As for Kaa, its just a launch and a drop those kind of rides will never make it high on my list. Don't get me wrong it is an increadable experience and everybody should do it at least once. But its to much of a one trick pony for me. Now if they would have done some twist and turns after that hill it wouldn't even have to be really good lay out then yes it would immideatly jump into my top 10. But as it is now maybe in the 20 to 25 earia.
As for Nitro nice coaster if you want a nice relaxing ride its great, but how do you gray out in that thing? it might be the less forcefull hyper i ve ridden. Very relaxing and soothing and still lots of fun but graying out??.
I do prefer the raptor way over Nitro even with trains (and yes i completly agree with you after acouple of rides on it i need a break because my hips cramp up from the seating position).
And i also agree with you that the operation where unlike any other Six flags park. I could have believed it was a cedar fair park in that regard. Must say overall i thoroughly enjoyed this park. I think i like the atmosphere of Magic mountain better. But coaster wise this is the best six flags park i've done so far.
Great video! This park has a great collection of coasters! I actually didn't realize the entire RMC Raptor model had an issue with roughness like that.

Cant really speak on the topic but from where I have been ( Europe) Energylandia is a no brainer for beat 1-2 punch. Now that I also rode a little more rollercoasters, including rides Germany, Turkey, Benelux region (including ride to happiness) I can say that Zadra sits comfortably at the top maybe even 50% above second place Hyperion the more I think about it. That ride is just perfection. At first I was weighing if Hyperion was better than Geforce but after a while I just came to the convlusion that height and speed just does matter. Nothing really can compare to the first drop of Geforce but otherwise Hyperion is just the better ride PLUS its higher and faster. So to put it simple, if I want to rank rides I just ask myself: If only one of those rides could exist, which one would it be? And the answer to that always has to be Hyperion. Using that method I came to. This top 10 after riding coasters in Europe this Summer excluding Spain and Scandinavia, France and Northern Germany ( Kolossos, Schwur des Kärnan)
1. Zadra ( warmed up not comparable to anything)
2. Hyperion
3. Untamed
4. Ride to Happiness ( Not the biggest Spinning guy plus if its close I will give the edge to coasters with bigger stats)
5. Geforce
6. Taron
7. Kondaa (Yep Im team Geforce on that)
8. Goliath
9. Black Mamba
10. Lost Gravity or Wodan
Unfortunately Fly was closed when I visited Phantasialand but yeah.. Im also revisiting Holiday Park tomorrow so I will see if Geforce has any chance of climbing higher but Untamed and Hyperion are just Juggernauts. Well thats it for now but I have to say I am more than excited to ride all the rmc‘s there are now that I got to experience Untamed and realizing that Zadra wasnt just a one of and they all seem to be that insane. Rmc really did a marvel with this model. Allthough it doesnt really threaten Zadra it looks like the ibox models are just so clear of the rest that its really the state of the art for rollercoasters, in my opinion at least. ( And also after riding Goliath I just have to say old intamin is something else^^)
I haven't ridden Dragster, but I think I'd probably prefer Ka. I don't mind the roughness in the back and the floater hill is just too good.

When you have 5 B&Ms but the 1-2 punch is still Intamin.

Great Adventure gets some undo hate for sure. I unfortunately haven't been able to ride Jersy Devil or El Toro as both were closed both times I've been there. But Kingda Ka is frigging awesome, I actually prefer it to TTD, mostly because of the setting being so much better for Ka. Love the bamboo and the fact the ride is hidden from view. You feel more wind in your face,the launch is so forceful that it's insane. I love Ka!! Nitro is definitely better than Apollo's Chariot (horribly underwhelmed by it honestly)
Candymonium vs Nitro is a rough call. I love the Helix way more than the fountain drive by but that sideways airtime moment on Candymonium is just so cool.

Completely agree 100%. I go as far to say that Kingda Ka is my favorite roller coaster of all time!!!! Dragster is tied with Ka but I have a feeling that top thrill 2 won’t be as good!!

Could be worse, I recently flew all the way to Helsinki to ride Taiga (which is the only real reason to visit that particular park), and the darn thing closed for the whole day I was there after the first ride :)

@Thingamajig-tm7fh I've never been to New England so idk and the only rmc I've ever done is lightning rod and lord knows that ride is unreliable as hell but I do want my next rmc to be steel vengeance and ride it this fall then go to silver dollar city in the summer for fire in the hole and outlaw run although this is a lot of money for my parents so.
