Howdy from Texas. Just found your channel and really like it and the way you present the info. Like talking to my neighbor. Retired and lost wife (cancer) and wanting to move to a cooler area and live off grid. Have been RVing most of my life and lived in an RV for several yrs. If you don't mind would love to pick your brain. ;P

Regular dielectric grease will work on the wires/terminals. My buddies and I started using it on our boats (salt water) and we never had corrosion so now I use it on all batteries.

Why are you not using a MPPT charge controller?

      1. I have a really limited budget, I'm mostly stuck spending only what is generated from TH-cam revenue.
      2. I have never seen an MPPT controller than work with a wind turbine.

Old Trojans and no they hadn't made it to the junk yard yet...but they were on their way :D...they don't hold charge very well but they work great for regulating the voltage.

Have you tried the turbines from Missouri wind and solar?

I wonder if you have enough subscribers that you could get a free battery to review. I've seen people with similar metrics get them so maybe reach out to Dr. Prepare and LiTime to see if they want to work with you. Not sure how big your batteries are but based on teh size I assume you have like 200 am hours at 50% DoD? An LFP battery would have a BMS that might save it from the problem you had this time.
