    Just a small correction about compass directions.
    Punta Sur means South point, the beach to the “left” getting off the ferry is Playa Norte (North Beach). The side of island towards Cancun is the West side, cliff side is of course East. In fact it is the most eastern land in all of Mexico.
    Hope that helps.

    Cancun looks neat. Have a 7 day booked for Isla in march. Food drink and sun. It’s what the doctor ordered!🇺🇸

    Two questions:
    1. Do they have golf carts that seats 6 people?
    2. When on the island, did you use US dollars or pesos?

    • @detailedtraveler
      @detailedtraveler  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The golf carts could hold 3 and 3 but a bit cramped.
      I used US dollars on my entire trip.

    How much did you pay for the golf cart for the day?

      Your welcome. When we were staying at the Grand Fiesta they were free at the front desk but you had to ask. We paid last year when we were staying at the Hyatt Ziva and I believe it was $60 round trip per person

    Hi, are you allowed to take a drone into mexico and film?

    • @detailedtraveler
      @detailedtraveler  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was able to fly the drone off the Cancun peninsula when we were at Grand Fiesta but couldn't fly it at the beach in Isla. Heads up the local birds got aggressive when I was bringing it back down.
