  • HUNZA ROADTRIP!!!! Spectacular drive from Passu to Shimshal.
We had such a great time with our friends Sajid and Majeed (who is btw an excellent driver) from Climax Adventure Pakistan. The road from Passu leading to Shimsal was thrilling as we drove on cliff edges. It was an anazing experience as we admired the road that took 18 years to build! We also stopped by a glacier with hot springs before we reached the village of Shimshal. Once we got to our destination, we had yak meat and yak cheese for the first time!! We then experienced the rural village life in this remote area of Hunza. We hope you like our village tour!
Special thanks to Climax Adventure Pakistan👍

Steve and Ivana, can you give the idea to the people who live around the hot-springs. Use the hot water for room heating purposes by using plumbing pipes and installing column radiators which has hot water flowing through them which heats up the columns and the air surrounding them. Imagine free running hot water making their accommodation warm and comfortable throughout the year. This concept needs to be implemented by the government or the NGOs.

So the idea is, Gilgit Baltistan has mostly bald and somewhat barren mountains, which has a unique beauty in it. Many of the top highest mountain peaks in the world are in this region. But If you have chance to go KPK, sawat, kalam and so on, those mountains are pure green and heavenly beautiful too. You may visit some of the most beautiful vallies in there too. Both areas have different yet wonderful landscapes.

Hey guys you made incredible job. You cover the Village which is around 60% area of Hunza Valley but unfortunately hidden because of its rough road. The village is known as village of mountaineering for his brave native climbers. I can recommend our domestic and international tourists to visit this beautiful village. This village is home of adventure, you can find dozens of trekking spots here. Again thumps up my friends👍

Hey Steve, I love your excitement haha. By the way, you probably didnt know this but 99% of the population of Northern Pakistan is literate and speak fluent english. This includes places like hunza, swat, gilgit and where you are now.

School teaches English is my guess. Are there any other languages taught?
