July 2024- I just want to take a second to point out the video was recorded almost 3 years ago when the price of the visor was $20 and $12 shipping for the passenger side visor. I scoured the internet to find that price and was happy to find it for that low price at allmoparparts. The driver side with the garage door controls was significantly higher. Now, that same visor part number has increased to $126 through the same vendor! Wow. Inflation really is in effect on that part. Anyway, I just want to give people a heads up on this. Thanks for your support and have a good one.
On my 2020 Galdiator Mohave, I didn't have to remove my freedom panels to access the top two screws on the roll bar cover. The top two scres are mounted at a slight angle that allows access without taking the freedom panels off. (Good thing for me, because I have roof rack bars and a 10' solid paddleboard on my top!) Also, I tried the lock ring repair, but it didn't work for me. The lock ring I have isn't big enough on the outer diameter to stay on top of the mounting bracket: it just falls through the hole. I have ordered the replacement bracket to secure the visor from the bottom side. Thanks for the video.
Yeah, I’m glad I don’t have a roof rack and I’m trying to avoid it, that being one of the reasons. There’s been a few to get the rings to work but for the cost of a new visor, the TACCOM clips, and the ease of install, I’m glad I went this route. You’re welcome and I glad the video was helpful to you!
Awesome job, ty! I’ll be doing that today on my 2021 JLUR. Visor slides in and out, longated. I wonder if sliding it out 1/8 inch clears driver side mount bracket edge?
I made my own afew year's ago had some 3/16 aluminum plate laying around and bought some longer screws painted everything black cost me about 10 bucks now i own a jl i know they have the same issue so ill build somemore looks like that part is over 100 buck's maybe i should build some and make money lol BTW gr8 video u did a nice job on it!!
Inflation. I’ve heard it’s went up….A LOT! Crazy. I paid that low price almost 3 years ago now. Even then, the driver side with the garage door controls was significantly more making the passenger side feel like a steal of a price. I went ahead a pinned a post letting viewers know. At least the information on the visor replacement procedure and the addition of the TACCOM clips is still useful.

Right on with the entrepreneurial spirit! Yeah, those visors have skyrocketed in price. Thanks for the compliment!
it is more than 20 dollars for the visor like 110-160 depending on where u get it

Do you have a link to where you got the new visor?
parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-illuminated-visor-right-6cd23tx7ak
the visor says it's $101.00. NOT $20
@boywonder433 It was when I bought it a couple of years ago now. Inflation…
eBay motors sold me mine for $60 + shipping
That’s a lot better than $100. Great find!
Thank you for the video!
You’re welcome! I’m happy it was helpful to you. 👍🏼
Luckily my Jeep Wrangler doesn't have any electrical to the visors. :D yay
That’s a plus in my book. We don’t even use the lighted vanity mirrors.
Yup and I broke it!
I didn’t know that! It’s all good now. 😄👍🏼
