I wish the Shaykh would read the TH-cam comments. That's the only way for so many of us to convey our love and appreciation for him. :)

The themes of most of brother and Sh. Abdul Hakim center around rejuvenating optimism even in turbulent times where one feels all is lost. Where one feels the sacred is an imagined utopia of the past.
AHM always pushes for an optimistic point of view, alluding to the fact that we do have a ruh/soul that can still get in touch with that from which it came and to which it shall return.

Great interview jazakallah khair. I didn't quite understand the Meghan Markle reference?

I didnf get the Meghan Markle reference either . May be he was alluding to the fact that she was victim blaming constantly complaining , and it's like too much focus on the self /ego.. not sure , what the context was

Perhaps Meghan markle marks the classic postmodern predicament of being anti structure/anti institution/anti rituals etc. In most of her recently trolled interviews she is seen parodying royal gestures and has been voicing about how much she is wronged, oppressed, discriminated by everyone etc. Self victimisation throughout. Interestingly, on youtube she is the most popularly studied specimen for narcissistic personality body language too

@@farhanaashique6874 well pointed out ..however I think there is a difference between self pity or genuinely exposing an injustice. sometimes you chose to raise voice for others who don't have a voice and all we see is personal complaining/ vendetta
