Dear Sidi Riaz, Sufism is founded on the strict and meticulous practice of the Sharia and Sunnah of our Messenger, may Allah bless and give him peace, and his family and companions. While there may be those calling themselves Sufis who do not follow the Sunnah, the exemplars whose lives we have chronicled we are men and women who embodied the Sunnah. If you find anyone claiming to be a Sufi who does not follow the Shariah and the Sunnah, leave them immediately. However, your comment, disparaging Sufism as a whole is misinformed. I recommend that you read the Exemplars series. This may give you a new and better understanding. Allah bless you and guide you on His Beautiful and Majestic way.
