But who is paying for it? Nigerians are currently facing extreme poverty. Many are unable to provide basic needs for their families, and some can't even afford to send their children to good schools. Despite this, the government is willing to spend money to give millionaires a chance to experience "cultural activities." It's ridiculous! Both Nigerians at home and in the diaspora are unhappy about this decision.

Some years ago I had the good luck of getting 2 tickets to see Dame Edna Everidge live in Toronto.
