Talion fought for decades alone possessed by a wraith and under the influence of the ring of power. He was simply broken. But remains a hero in the heart.
I think it was a mistake to try and show all the cutscenes in chronological order rather than the order they were presented to the player. Many great moments are lost because you had knowledge you shouldn't have had yet or you didn't have knowledge you should have had. For instance, Celebrimbor's reveal of duplicitousness is gradual. The final line of the Bright Lord DLC "Finally... all will fear me and rejoice" as it leads into the base game is such a great ending that shows Celebrimbor for who he truly always was... and you have it within the first 10 minutes.
in the Lore, Celembrimbor was tortured and impaled, after that his flailing body was used as a banner for the forces of Mordor. gruesome shit, no wonder he is so pissed in the game 🤣

Looking at this now, Celebrimbor could've just worked with Talion to construct a new ring for Gollum and the whole part later on where he betrays Frodo & Sam never would've happened. Something with a few dozen Orc souls and probably the boubles of a dead Dwarf, sprinkle a bit of Elf magic with that old hammer of his “and Bob's your uncle”. In fact, the newer ring could've probably helped Gollum regain more of his Smeagol. And as much as I love the monsters wildlife in these games, I don't get how none of them exist in the greater lore. Or how we don't see anymore Dwarves or Elves except the Hunter guy and the Blade of Galadriel. I feel like if there was a 3rd game there's be a human wizard or something. It would've been nicer to possess some of those men from the Dessert instead of All Orcs. Celebrimbor even had tombs built to honor his most loyal brainwashed Orcs. Which makes me wonder how that could be considering their skill loyalty is only measured due to said brainwashing and not being dead sooner. And it's not like they were still loyal after he died either, we saw that Sauron broke the Elf Lord's control when in close proximity to his Marked Orc soldiers.
Even a ring like that could have unintended consequence. I think that's the whole point, no matter what, these rings corrupt the bearer. Even the "new" ring from shadow of war brought out the worst in Celebrimbor. He went from wanting to pass into the afterlife at the end of SoM, to wanting to dominate Sauron and conquer Middle Earth towards the end of SoW. No ring can exist without bringing evil, as I think was Tolkien's sentiment in the books. Besides this, Gollum clearly only wanted the One ring. None of the others would satisfy him, so its doubtful that a vastly inferior one would do anything but make him even more inclined to pursue the One.
@@gsus458 So you're saying that by coming in contact with the 1st Ring of Power, that someone is potentially corrupted forever? @@trailblazerlazerrazerd9027 Thats precisely what I'm saying. You've seen Gollum, right? I dont think theres any better living (well, dead) proof that the One ring permanently corrupts. Shelob, who has the gift of sight, confirmed that by seeing what Celebrimbor would become. The One ring, and by extension, any of the rings will always eventually bring out the worst in people, as has been proven time and time again by the books. 1:33 "My family is in chains..." Um...Celebrimbor, your father's dead, 5 of your uncles are dead, one is missing, your grandfather is dead...what do you mean by family is in chains? Guess he's speaking for Elvenkind in general :)
@DogZzA man, it sure is shame that when Celebrimbor, in the game, talks about his family being in chains because, in the game, he has a family, and they're in chains, but outside the game he doesn't soooo... I'm fully aware that the Middle-Earth games aren't exactly lore friendly, but both these comments about Celebrimbor not having a family are dumb. He has one in the games, no one really cares if it's lore friendly or not. Just enjoy them for what they are. Damn.
@DogZzA That's fair. I've just seen so many complaints about the game not being lore friendly, and it gets old very fast. Wasn't trying to imply that you didn't like the game, just that complaining about lore in an otherwise fantastic series is silly.

Travis using the words weakness and grog in the same sentence...
Celebrimbor crafted sting and orcrist that glow blue when orcs and goblins are near and glamdring that glows white when orcs and goblins are near
I want to see a third game it’s be really nice to see celebrimbor or talion Ik that’s not possible since he passed on but it’d be nice to see the both of them again
Etarial the elf would be a nice touch celebrimbor rallies the remaining orks together to build. Anew army before Gondor takes them donw
Wow, pretty cool , I’m a grandma and I like watching this thanks kids! Cheeehooo mahalo nui🤙💕🌺
You’re a dope grandma then lmao
Thanks for the vid mate, i never could finish that game on PC (during the mission where you escape the cave with the Ghouls after slaying a special ghoul for the first time, my game shut down, try 4-5 times, still happening at the exact same time, i uninstall the game, unfortunately since i really enjoyed playing it) so i'm glad i can see the story to try the next one
If he can't leave Mordor before the ring is undone. Why can he, when the black hand is dead. That is not the ring??
BestandFirst he can't...he fought all the black captains in mordor and black hand died on the black gate i believe
In reality Talion is a vessel, one Celebrimbor can leave at anytime
He had no intention to simply return to death, he had long been corrupted by Sauron to conquer and dominate as the Bright Lord
If you by now seen the sequel game then you can see hoe true that is by game’s end
damn I want the Shadows of Mordor 2
Zavi Aman It will be soon
Zavi Aman Heh
I have seen its trailer :D
Zavi Aman shadow Of War
I have never got any doubt about the sequel! Magnificant game
this should be the next movie for lord of the rings
nice editing , good job !
That was a quick pivot from Talion wanting to pass over to, let's make a new Ring of Power and wreck stuff.
0:00 galadriel saved you hours of gameplay..with this and the sequel.
I've never played but is it as good as it looks?
it isssss
It's definitely worth playing honestly, I have the game of the year edition on my Xbox One beat it, bought the gold edition of shadow of War at GameStop new for $20, so worth it, the dlc, missions, storylines, weapons, everything is amazing, u should definitely check out these 2 games, they r one amazingly well done story! 😃
Story in shadow of Mordor is clean and war has some dirt on it in terms of accuracy to tolcin’s books (sorry if the name is wrong) but has much batter game play especially with orks domination and how the nemesis system works
Had to see this video to understand the quote "You are banished from death"
Sick intro BTW!
Gabi-Online Plus its old :3
Hour and 20 into the story with only 4 elf-shot?!?!?!?!?!?!
1:05:25
Love the way u make these cutscenes movies, way better than IZUNYs

Tumhom is so freaking flamboyant. I like him.
Never seen that beginning part before. Is that part of the Bright Lord DLC?
anthony sunseri yes
Can you do Valiant hearts the Great War after this. There's only one guy who has done that game but the audio is messed up
Isolation 117 I'm gonna check out the game, haven't played it yet
This is so well structured!
... Does it bother anyone else besides me that Monolith KINDA fucked up Talion's initial design in Shadow of War by NOT giving him the same mangled armor he had in THIS game?
For the moment I thought that broken blade was the blade that the elves fixed for Aragon
It was his son's blade. It upset me that you didnt get a MENTION of Talion's family in the second game
Ahhh I miss this game..
Holy fucking shit this story is intense. I got the game and thought it was a cool game but never actually knew the story behind it. This is awesome.
Same but i got shadow of war
I thought this a good storyline and play on The Lord of the Rings narrative. Quite well done in theme and gaming.
Dude you're awesome at this
Did you deepen the voices to avoid the copyright filter?
MelkorHimself Yeah had to =(. Wasn't because of the voices, but the ambient background music. But yeah, had to do it to the whole vid.
better that way, more epic!
Ratbag had me chuckling... Such derp, such wow.
1:33 "My family is in chains..." Um...Celebrimbor, your father's dead, 5 of your uncles are dead, one is missing, your grandfather is dead...what do you mean by family is in chains? Guess he's speaking for Elvenkind in general :)
Guess its his... You know, wife and daughter, did you play the dlc? Let alone the game itself?
Wasn't trying to imply that you didn't like the game, just that complaining about lore in an otherwise fantastic series is silly.
i am learning a lot about this video
I always find myself wondering how I will survive until August 22
Same here bro... Cannot wait for Shadow of War
Worst. Final boss. Ever. I mean really The Hammer was basically the ONLY boss. The Tower was a stealth mission and the Black Hand was a quick time event
The story element was good but I would’ve like a epic fight with the hand leading up to that
2:19:22
That...is worthy of an Anime kill
Therapists: VIDEO GAMES CAUSE VIOLENCE!
video games: 15:27
To be fair, Shadow of Mordor/War are about murdering and enslaving orcs in a genocidal quest for vengeance. It also really makes me care about my orcs though. RIP Bolg the handsome. Came back from the dead only to be taken again
Thanks for sharing that was epic.
53:15 Get it? Because it's the line, from the movie, from the first movie? The one where Gandalf dies? Where he says that right before dying? He says that line, to frodo, before he falls? Get it? Get the reference?
No
Fly you fools?
You meant that scene where gandalf was fighting with balrog from fellowship of the rings ?
