- CJI Chandrachud Exclusive To NDTV: The Supreme Court is always there for citizens of India, "irrespective of wealth, social status, caste, religion, or gender or who is in power", and "no case is too small for the highest court of the land", Chief Justice DY Chandrachud told NDTV's Ashish Bhargava in an exclusive interview Wednesday.

He's due to retire in November this year. Supreme Court judges retire at the age of 65, while the High Court judges retire at the age of 62.
CJI age is decided in Constitution that is 65 years no one can continue after that
Out of 4 pillars (Legislature, Executive, Judiciary and the Media), 3 can be control by government. Remaining is Court, that needs to be independent. 🙏

I wrote like this : " The honourable CJI Y.V.Chandrachud once again re-established the truth that with a sense of complete dedication to one's profession, one can remain a pillar of strength and moral courage to many other deprived ones in our country .Acting in the manner of a " niskama karmi" , that selfless and people's welfare oriented service remains one's prime consideration and also the dharma for one that demands unbiased commitment for ensuring justice to one and all including the marginalised,the minorities or the religious minority section of our country.This in turn strengthens the democratic and "dharma nirapeksha " spirit of the Constitution of India that showing equal respect to all religions is the true meaning of secularism in the Indian context echoing the age old wisdom of our Sanatana Hindu Dharma that " Ekam Sat Viprah bahudha badanti',that all have equal and similar rights to remain fellow travellers sharing a common journey for establishing harmony , solidarity and overall unity among all sections of the people despite diversity of various kinds.We remain grateful to the honourable CJI and also many others for their effort at fare distribution of justice and legal help to one and all without any discrimination of any kind .This will have long lasting positive impact on restoring faith and trust in the legal and justice systems of our country that will empower many discriminated ones .
