    How can I open the activation push disk

    I have a pair of doors with switches on the inside and outside on both doors. Will a damaged switch, outside, also cause the inside not to open the door. Or should the inside button still work? One door opens with the outside button and the inside button, but the other door won't open. When the button is pressed, you can hear the receiver click but no LED light. Can you comment on this please? Thank you.

      A damaged switch outside will not effect the function of the inside switch. It sounds like you have vestibule application? For the door opener that doesn’t work, I would verify that the receiver is synced to both buttons. If not you might try to replace the transmitter batteries. If that doesn’t work you probably have a bad transmitter!

    Would a transmitter that might be water damaged still possibly emit a red light from the led when the button is pressed as if it is working normally?

      possibly. that portion of the transmitter may work but the portion that sends the signal may be damaged. i
      deally if you could use a different transmitter for testing purposes to compare, that may lead you in the right direction

    • @vincentseidle954

      depends on the model and or year. most ive seen can give a manual mode option, unless its an older style door

    Hello. Quick question how do I adjust the closing speed when door is being used and when it's deactivated

    • @elvasmith5262
      @elvasmith5262 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im pretty sure if you hold the door open and look up at the thing that allows the door to go shut...the ones like in an apartment building theres a screw you adjust and it allows the door to go shut quickly or adjust it to go shut slowly. But if your talking about the ones you push the button im not sure. I use a chair and everywhere I live I get someone to adjust the door to go shut slowly. It makes it easier to open from the outside. You have time to get in front of the door before it shuts on you

      if its a manual open and close door, the person above me is right by there being 2 flat head screws. usually you'll see a number 1 and number 2 on the side. one is for how fast/slow it opens and the other options adjusts how fat/slow the door closes. if this is an automatic door, most have a controller with a small display and you can adjust that way

    I have one on a door, worked fine for the longest time, came back to work one day and it’s started leaking fluid from the bottom, where the arm attaches to the gearbox, looked around and can’t find much information on this type of issue

      sounds like an internal seal has broken inside the gear box and is making its way through the component. at that point, im replacing the full motor assy

    • @AutomaticDoorAndHardware
      @AutomaticDoorAndHardware  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ryan, it sounds like your door opener has the push and go feature.

    There are no screws on the activation button

    • @rich4501
      @rich4501 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      2 months too late. There’s typically holes on the activation plate. Stick an Allen wrench through the hole. You should be able to access the screws with the proper size Allen wrench.
