i think this just be a basic thing in live music. some people just don't give any space for the vocals, they're supposed to be the main thing!

I think this idea is great, however I think it varies with genre, maturity of the player and setting. I’ve heard the thing that you are not suggesting done before and it sounded great and placement was great also buuutttt I wouldn’t recommend every and anyone try that lol

5-string is better for worship songs. That low rumble helps the congregation feel the worship more. 👌
