A: i get a ton of air bubbles but you can use a lighter to get rid of them, or just simply

A: Yes, it irritates your skin (thus the gloves) and you want to work with it in a
well- ventilated area.

Thank you! I didn't expect to see the designing done in reverse, or from the back. You can't really see the composition from the front until it's completed.

Good job! One thing to point out is that the resin and hardner are influence by temperature. If you are in a cooler area the curing time will be affected vs. a warmer climate. Also, the formula for the resin and hardner is a 1 to 1 mix ratio. You may also want to try doing the molds yourself using polymer clay. You'll be able to get the dome-shape effect much easier, not to mention patterns that you like. They also sell a spray that will allow the finish product to be removed easier as well.
And you used pastels, as in chalk, to make colored resin?

Do u dome the fronts or do the molds you use provide a domed look to to tops? Absolutely beautiful BTW! I love how you let the transparency of the resin add to your pieces instead of finishing the backs with solid colors. It adds so much dimension.

It is called lacies song or something, it is from the anime pandora hearts, it is a music box version. I sadly don't think you can find it on iTunes though😓

You can search up download TH-cam songs or something, then save it to your computer, and then send it to your phone👍
Once you add the sparkles, do you wait for it to dry before adding the last layer, or do you do it right after?

Aiesha Dhas As stated in the previous reply, many are used for decoden. Denpending on the size you can also make jewellery or charms out of them.

Did you need to clean and put a gloss on your finished pieces? Also, did you need to prep your mold with the conditioner before pouring the resin?

Great and cute tutorial. Lol. Dumb question, but I was wondering, because I'm getting plastic resin molds, and I can see that your mold is different and thinner than mine, will I be able to pull the charms out of the mold after placing it in the freezer for 10-20 minutes?

Can this brand of resin work just as well with silicone molds, or only plastic molds? I have mostly plastic molds, but I also need to use my silicone molds. Before I take the plunge and spend the money, I was wondering if you knew so that I could buy both some of the (expensive...) epoxy resin and famowood, instead of ruining my silicone molds by testing them with the famowood.
What do you do with these? Do they have a particular use like jewellery etc.? :)
What did you use to colour the resin? You said you 'mixed pastels and resin', but what are pastels? Sorry if that's a silly question :) thanks x

this is really awesome, thank you. does famowood dome better than easycast? i've been using easycast and i dunno if it's just that my table's uneven and/or i pour too much, but almost every time i try to dome them with an eyepin, the resin uses the eyepin to run down the edge and onto the front of the piece. it also sometimes does this when i try to gloss the front with resin. any ideas? from anyone? :/

Did you let the first layer of resin cure before adding the pastel resin layer or did you do it right after you but the glitter on it? Please respond!!!!
Did you add the second layer of resin (the transparent background with pastels) after the hour of curing or do you let it cure for a day and then add the second layer?
You could use resin or just use glaze or clear nail
polish (don't know if the clear nail polish will work!)
What do you use to glaze your resin pieces? They're so shiny!

About famowood clear resin.
Is the fully cured resin hard enough to compare to a hard plastic? I've noticed some clear resins have a tendency to be pliable like a No.2 pencil eraser and easily marrred by a fingernail.

So after the resin has dried, it won't irritate the skin anymore right??
U can put your mold with your finished piece still inside in the freezer for abt 20mins, aft u take it out, it should come out easily.
