I know this a year ago but have you recently check how he serenade in Miss Philippines or Miss Universe I guess, try to check that out. 😅
So there are like 2 types of lyricists in the Philippines, those who write modern tagalog and those who write with archaic tagalog which is very very romantic and this song has some very deep lyrics with deep tagalog which is super dope. Not to mention that this actually very hard to sing as the tone is different every line except the repeating chorus.
"will our promises be enough that the future may allow us to meet again?" That is just so poetic. That's my favorite part of the song.

it just tells you how music can be a universal language. You don't have to understand the lyrics but you get what the song conveys.
I remember singing this song. The tune is so hard. You have to watch him how he syllabicates the words and does his runs, or else it's gonna sound super awkward. I guess, only Arthur Nery has mastered this type of sound. He's so original.
