You can blame Judon.. He is coming off a season ending injury at 32 years old. He is asking for way too much, and he needs to accept a team friendly deal and have a good season again. If not trade him

Mayo and Maye. The May May Era is either going to be good with 1 SB win in 10yrs or awful and they will both be gone in 3yrs.

Chandler Jones also disappeared in Decembers and vs better LTs. Pats fans who know the game knew that. Sack collection is not all what that position is about. i agree with marray on dumping greedy judon and getting a 2nd round pick and fill that need in next year's draft and they definately shouldn't have gotten rid of belichick especially when he said he wouldn't be GM anymore which was the problem.
Maybe if they had a better and more reliable offensive line he'd have a better chance of starting. Should they really put him in a position to get hammered, and then be out for the season, and then not even be able to practice?
Felger thinks that kraft thought that "they'd be a 10 or 11 win team last year"? Really? That seems like a pretty optimistic expectation

It’s a rebuild year let Maye develop also give him some playing time, pop Douglas should take a leap, baker and Polk will get some experience both who are talented. Get those good draft picks next year and continue to get those young explosive/athletic players in the building

You're not getting a second round pick, even conditional for Matthew judon. That is complete fantasyland. 32-Year-Old pass rushers coming off an injury that won a big contract... I don't even think you could get a third round pick. Maybe you could get like a fifth that could become a fourth.

The team around him is so bad, that if you play Drake Maye - he will be shell shocked by week 4. Seeing ghosts.. sped up.. call it what you want. If you start him, he will NOT progress normally. Get that through your head.
I wouldnt trade Judon for a 3rd round pick. A 2nd maybe but no gimmicks. A straight 2nd rounder.
You're not going to get a second round pick for a 32-year-old guy on the last year of his contract that wants a big payday. I mean you'd be lucky to get a conditional fourth. Which is probably reason enough not to trade him and just let him walk and that will at least calculate it towards compensatory pics.

Moving on doesn’t mean he still didn’t help this franchise win 6 rings. Look at the steelers and ravens they will never win again with Tomlin/Harbaugh. Same as Pop for Spurs, cut your losses!
