in keyboard inspector program the scanrate spikes up into 3545hz for me. changing the binning rate to 16000hz its peaking on 8000hz. I was saw somewhere with the appropiate tools, the accurate scanrate has been around 5-6k
@@caffeinefrag yes, they are 1/1 the same, same pcb solutions, just with a different layout, similar to the sikakeyb ck75, but its too new to make any thoughts about it

Hey, I have a few questions. does this keyboard includes a cable, and does it have onboard memory? Can I just set everything and delete their app or need it to be running all the time?
Yes, it has a stiff, braided type-c to type-c cable with an usb-a adapter. And it has onboard memory so rgb, rapid trigger settings, everything can be saved permanently to the keyboard. Even you can make custom profiles with different set of actuations, so with the specific key you can swap them between comfortably, all that without the software needed.
yo will you have to pay customs fees when ordering from France? can we set the polling rate to 8k to 2k 4k? And are the settings saved in the keyboard and kept when closing the software?
I live in Europe and there was no additional fees, its just came to me normally after ordering it. There is no option for changing to polling rate, its on a fixed 8k. And the keyboard can save anything into the memory chip, even different profiles which you can swap between(without the software needed).
@@Ghost-Tera_YT It will not be as demanding since the polling only works when you pressing the key in contrast of what mouses doing when you constantly sending data into pc. I think, you will don't want to worry about this, but it is recommended to use at least windows 11 since microsoft fixed some of the higher polling issues which caused fps spikes before.
@@Kokos_Gadgets my config is not powerful enough to run windows 11, do you think that the Shikakeysb ck75 is a good choice I currently have a wooting but I am hesitating between the shikakeysb the backspace oasis 75 and the iqunix ez63
they both have real 8k(tested with the right tools), however the hm66 is more accurate, a bit more stable and has less deadzone, also the actuation point can be set to 0.01mm with, compare to what iqunix have with their lowest 0.05mm values(not that much of a diff tho)
Where did you purchase this? I've seen people purchase it on Aliexpress for cheaper, but I'm unsure how legit is that. Unfortunately they don't sell this just as a module, wish they did that since they sell the other ones.

Can u experience any switch deactuation when u bottom out keys and moving finger around keycap without lifting finger on really low settings of rapid trigger like 0.02 ?
If you ridiculosly hard press on the bottom which is wouldnt likely to be happen, then its going to cut off the keys sometimes. 0.01mm is indeed not safe in any scenario, but literally tested this in the quarter of the video with the set of 0.02 reset point

It has to be false positive. Don't have windows defender on my system, so on mine nothing of these messages pops up. But I looked into the behavior of the application when its running and to my understanding it doesn't seem to make any harmful or bad thing that we book the entire thing as a virus. Some Japanese retailer mentioned the same thing that the defender can flag the app so I think we safe, like for real, why wouldn't we be?...

@@synex666 higher polling was never be able to measure on some random websites, so dont expect that. You need to have a latency tool to know how it performs, or use the keyboard inspector program, set the binning rate to 16000, and you can see there its running on 8k
tofu redux's is compatible with it, in theory every gh60 case, but there is some which dont have the usb port on the exact right place. So you have to be careful with this.
yes, they are uses the same chipsets and mcu, just the layout is different, though the hm80 has a bit of a lower latency from tests. hm66 = 1ms delay hm80 = 0.30ms delay but I wanna mention that the hm66 recently got a firmware update and the scanrate has been improved, so I assume they are now performs on the same level.

@@mikado2677 It indeed didnt have shipping cost until now, I assume they just forgot to update the entire website yet. Thats actually a common practise about relative new companys, that they pay for the shipping in the beginning of few of their first products, and after that, cause of the large amount of orders and interests they just no more supporting it for free. To give an example: wlmouse did the way like this.

@@TUB3R4FUN definitely get the hm, it has way less deadzone and also it is faster(8k polling). The socd works flawlessly, but you have to use the "cover" function since that prioritizes the last input. hm socd function = rappysnappy hm cover function = razer snaptap / wooting socd

@@TUB3R4FUN Not every gh60 cases compatible with, cause of the usb cutout not always the same on these cases. But on the tofu redux, the cutout can be slide for the perfect adjustment. Getting a different case can be risky. Ive never had a razer or wooting keyboard, cant speak about them, but the hm66 "cover" function, which is the snaptap works really good as I said.

the 3 split space keys are separated from each other, so you can either remap or put a function on one by one.

Does your antivirus flag the keyboard software? My Windows Defender and Malwarebytes both flag it, as well as VirusTotal.

So I figured it out:
the hm socd works like wooting rappysnappy,
and the hm cover function works as the wooting socd/snap tap

tofu redux's is compatible with it, in theory every gh60 case, but there is some which dont have the usb port on the exact right place. So you have to be careful with this.
