    This time we'll learn how to use "ていく" and "てくる".
    With ていく and てくる, you can make sentences such as:
    ☆ She moved AWAY vs She moved next door.
    ☆I'll go buy some lunch.
    ☆ Do you wanna grab ramen on the way home?
    ☆ I've worked so hard so I'll be okay!
    ☆ It's getting hot.
    ☆ I'm getting used to the life in Japan.
    ☆ I will keep studying hard.
    and many more!!!

    Anyone who complains your videos are too long don't know how to appreciate what you do. As viewers on TH-cam, it's so easy to just pause and come back to the video again. Honestly, Misa sensei explains grammar so clearly and thoroughly. I usually take a week (or more) just to get through a video like this. I stop many times, usually because my brain just can't digest and understand everything at one go, or because I have to get back to doing other stuff that needs my attention. But to be able to watch this free on TH-cam and still complain? Then you really have no ounce of gratitude in you.

      It really just depends on preference. But then again, no one forces anyone who complains to watch Misa. I personally prefer more concise videos, but in depth videos like Misa's are also a great watch :)

    I'm always amazed how you can explain grammar so clearly. That's Misa for you. Truly the best teacher on TH-cam hands-down. Thanks for this explanation, it's very a confusing part but you did a great job at explaining it.

    • @felipechaves6100
      @felipechaves6100 3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @@ajax7590 the tricky thing about it is that it is not as common as you might think. I have stopped and purposely paid attention to see how often it is used by native speakers, both in real life and in tv shows, etc. And it only comes out every now and then, making it harder to practice imo. Now I feel like I can understand it better, and the doubts I had about it been cleared.

    26:35 The way I see it, ganbattekita is like "I came here to this point in time after making an effort"
    In case it's useful to someone - it's exactly the same idea of coming and going after an action, but the point you're going to or coming from is not "here" but "now"

    Wow this video was amazing.. I'm so grateful that you take the time to go through each topic fully, even if it take much more of your time to script, film and edit it all. I love that you always explain the root of why something is said the way it is I.e. the logic behind it, and breaking down common sayings and giving useful day to day examples. And I'm really grateful you go through all of the usages for that grammar. It really frustrates me when I think I've learned a grammar point, but then I see it used and still don't understand because the textbook didnt cover it in depth. Your videos are such a valuable resource, thank you Misa sensei.
