    For anyone reading this trying to fix their Hisense air conditioner, I just fixed mine. It’s good to clean your filters but that was not why mine was not putting out cold air.
    Press and hold the power button while it is on. The unit will power off, but continue holding it until you hear a few beeps. Then go to the plug into the wall and press the reset button on it. Turn your machine back on. The cooling compressor will now work ❄️

  • @richstacey1707

    To hard reset by unplugging the unit from the power outlet, while unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Once the unit is back on select cool mode-my unit was blowing just warm air until i hard reset worked perfect

      So how does it reset while it's UNPLUGGED? I plugged it back in, THEN held down the power button. It worked, blew cold BUT only for about 10 minutes. Then it was blowing warm again.
      Any suggestions?

    we got a 25000 btu , 240v a/c from Hisense a few months ago when our frigidare died.
    The first thing was this. It cooled our 1100 sq foot house in minutes. Was so impressed. Went from 98 degrees inside to 65 degrees in literally 20 min or less. FANTASTIC... Then one day,,.....
    We noticed it getting warmer and warmer. IT would not cool no matter what the house went to 80 degrees and wouldnt go lower.
    What had happened
    TWO THINGS at different times.
    The power had gone out in the middle of the night for a few min. WHen it came back the a/c restarted at 77 instead of 67. No biggie. we changed the temp but nothing.
    WHat I found out was simple. It had to be reset . I pushed the fan speed and the cooling button at the same time for about 5 seconds. THe digital temp went to double dash lines. Then restarted. IT worked perfectly. Back to normal so whenever we have a power problem I know to reset. Easy peasey
    THEN ANOTHER THING
    The light for cleaning the filter came on. Again I noticed the temp went up and no matter where we had it set, the actual temp would not cool beyond 78 degrees. I cleared the button and still nothing...
    I knew the screen was not dirty. But opened the front anyway and just removed the clear and clean screen.... Then replaced it and shut the front. Magically the A/c worked perfectly again.
    SO things to remember, it really expects you to clean that screen and some sensor connected to the front of the a/c knows whether you took out the screen or not (or at least that you opened it up like to clean it) Snap shut and perfect.
    So... in the few months we have had it. The cooling is far superior to our Frigidaire that was also 25k btu. It blows much harder and we love it. The price was fantastic as well.
    Just remember, if it stops cooling... There is a reason. do maintenance and clear its brain. open the front, clean the screen even if minor particles are there.
    Enjoy.

    • @PizzlesTechTime
      @PizzlesTechTime  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That being said it looks like you got lucky in your case. I find my Frigidaire to be clunky and highly difficult to use. I press the temperature down button it goes into eco mode. I press the temperature up button it goes into cool mode. I use the dimmer button to dim the screen And it turns on eco mode. It's almost as if Hisense expects the people who buy their products to be unable to use it and should just listen to what the air conditioner wants it to do. That being said when I modify it put it on super cool it does cool pretty well. I won't buy another Hisense AC again though

    I'm glad it's not just me that finds this ac to be craptastic. How hard is it to make a cooling product that you simply can set the temperature to and it keeps it cool? I have cheap space heaters that do that just fine. I had mine for years but only recently realized that the super button is the most useful button on this thing. Usually, I have to try several different times to adjust the temperature down to the 60s, for it to cool long enough to keep my room in the 70s. I'm definitely not buying this brand ever again.

    • @PizzlesTechTime
      @PizzlesTechTime  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah to be quite honest with you I am pretty upset with Frigidaire right now as well. They have discontinued the Wi-Fi functions on two of my air conditioners. I contacted their support and they basically told me too bad. I have five Frigidaire air conditioners that were supposed to connect wirelessly. I think I will be looking into getting a different brand other than Hisense and Frigidaire. Companies treat their customers like shhhh now. The Hisense air conditioner is easier to use if you install the mobile app. As long as you don't mind the country of origin being China. I have too much tech to worry about that

    Well, I bought my a year ago and has no remote. Back then, it worked just fine at cooling the house down (my house is small, about 800 square feet). But maybe a month ago I noticed it's blowing cold air out but it's not getting the humidity and heat out of the room like before. I already taken it out and cleaned it like you should and no cigar. I just think it's a crappy brand and I'm going back to another brand.

      @@PizzlesTechTime It's a window unit, and it does have the wifi logo on it, but like I said, it never had a remote and it was working fine for a year till around the end of June when I started noticing that it would blown cold air, then hot then cold again. I already had a mechanic friend come over and he took it apart and cleaned it for me and we put it back in and it's still not working good. He thinks the compressor already went bad and he did tell me Hisense are junk and I should stick with GE or Frigidaire in the future. I already tried to see about the warranty, but it was only a year and it already expired a month before it started to go bad. Convenient, huh?

      First of all this air conditioner and remote is one of the most aggravating I have ever used. Make sure the air conditioner is on high and the air conditioner is on the lowest temperature. Then you have to make sure that the remote has been used to change the settings. If you press super in the air conditioner starts making a loud noise you have done it properly. I do believe the remote also has an indicator but I'm usually looking at it at night. If it is not doing anything try those steps first.

I set the temp to 61 (lowest temp), have it on cool setting, and on high fan mode. It’s been on constantly since yesterday when I got it. And during the day it won’t go under 72-74 or so. You should be able to adjust the temperature down to the lowest setting and put it on cool right from the AC. I am saying my particular model has a super mode which makes it cool a lot faster. If your model is different for it sounds like You either have a compressor issue or a thermometer issue

      @@PizzlesTechTime Wow that was a fast reply first of all I tampered with the remote and now I can’t get it off the Celsius back to Fahrenheit not that that has anything to do with the cooling all it does is blow out hot air no matter what I’ve tried

      …….. thermometer or a compressor a brand new gadget from Costco how could it have the situation something wrong with it unless it was laid down in the truck I brought it in it sat up took me a while to hook the hoses and all the nonsense window issues that don’t fit right it’s really a hunk of junk so I don’t know how long it’s just sat upright the least amount of coolness might last less than one minute and then it goes right back to feeling like a fan just blowing hot air and it has the dual hoses in the back it shouldn’t be doing that and the hose that takes the hot air out is scalding hot

      @@kcskcs439 yeah it sounds like a portable air conditioner. Totally different than the one I have. On the remote control is there a button that says super? Make sure it's on cool mode not eco. Then put the fan on high. Then put it to the coolest temperature. If you have any eco mode this thing sucks
