The actor who played Nora at the end was the aunt of the two kids from the original Jumanji. I thought that was a great throwback to the original. I believe it's the same character.
Okay but was the woman in the beginning (Dani devitos daughter or something) was that the same actress that plays rudy roundhouse? (killer of men)

The Rock does a pretty spot on impression of Danny Devito and Kevin Hart does a spot on impression of Danny Glover.
My take on the ostriches in the post-credits is this: They might make a sequel, and if they do, it will be more like the original Jumanji, where most of the action takes place in the real world.
Not only the animals, but the npcs and player characters may come to the real world as well.
They have confirmed there is a sequel in the works. As of May 2022 it is "in very early stages of development" but the studio has said they want to keep the series going and Jumanji 4 is "100% confirmed" :D

@@NosirrathOfficialit’s been confirmed definitely but they were just starting to write the script recently when Kevin hart injured himself, he can’t walk for a couple of months and is in a wheel chair he shattered a lot of bones and stuff around the hip area. He had to explain what happened because people thought he was pranking them, maybe the rock had some play in that though as he kept saying Kevin got himself injured so he wouldn’t get another punch from me when filming (meaning jumanji) so they obviously were about to start filming. Hopefully we don’t have to wait to long

You might want to remember the name Awkwafina. She’s in one of the most recent Marvel Movies Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Robin Williams's Jumanji was more serious and intense in its tone, The new ones on the other hand are funny and adventurous, All of them are enjoyable for different reasons and This was a great sequel imo. Have a wonderful Earth Day, my friend ❤️🌍

You should watch 'Central Intelligence' That is the movie that put The Rock and Kevin Heart together. That's when everyone realized that they had amazing chemistry with each other.

there is a small detail that I'm pretty sure that everybody when this movie first came out in theaters missed that since Jorgen the Brutal had strengths and weakness, he is actually a playable character. i didn't even think of it when i saw it in theaters,

I saw both this and the first in the cinema, saw them a few times actually, they are really good, light hearted, but quite sweet movies. I love them, you don't get many like this, especially not this good.

I got a free poster for this movie when it came out from playing this web game contest. It was like a month before the movie came out. I totally forgot about it, saw the movie, another month goes by and the poster randomly showed up at my door.

I didn't think of it until now, but the woman playing Nora was the same woman who played the aunt in the Robin Williams movie Jumanji.
I guess this is another callback, like the mention of Alan Parrish in Back to the Jungle.

Did you not see the original jumanji movie? The real first jumanji movie, not the video game involved movie, the one with Robin Williams. The game brought dangerous animals and nature from the board game to real life.
I love this new cast and both movies. I'm a little disappointed they haven't made a final sequel yet. It could be the best one.
I have the jumanji game for Xbox one and nintendo switch. Me and my son play it together all the time. It's one of his favorite games and always ask me to play the game with him. Fun game!

Me, a Whovian from way back, who watched Karen Gillan's run as Amy Pond from start to finish, wondering why she gets so little love.
Amy Pond - the best Doctor Who companion ever. No question.
This lady was brilliant in the goofy comedy scenes - and made me cry during dramatic scenes .. like that episode where Amy meets a future version of herself, and the two must decide who should die ... she plays both parts, and reduced me to tears.
Karen then went on to be unrecognisable as a space alien in Guardians of the Galaxy (which I've not watched yet)
And then Jumanji, where she is the star of the show, in my opinion.
I loved her! I just didn't remember her name in the moment! 😁
Though I don't watch a lot of movies, I love Jumanji! Time for a rewatch!

Since you watch the MCU you might know Awkwafina as Katy from Shang-Chi. If you haven’t seen it yet I’d highly recommend it.
The chords you recognized as being from Aliens are a trademark of composer James Horner. I recognized them from Star Trek The Wrath of Khan. Horner did compose the soundtrack for Khan and Aliens and the PREVIOUS Jumanj--I'm guessing the composer for The Next Level carried them over as a small tribute. I'm sure they show up in other Horner scores but don't remember any specific ones off the top of my head.
I LOVE the Jumanji movies, all of them. I want to see a really good game related to this!

There is a movie like Jumanji its call Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005). Fun movie too.
In the Original "Robin Williams" Jumanji, the animals and game characters (Van Pelt) came to the real world.
So it looks like they are setting things up to do something like that again. (but they probably won't)

What do you mean Jörgen was an outsider? Like pulled in from the game? From another time? I like that idea.
@@LordAnti The director, Jake Kazdan, said in a recent interview that any character with a strengths and weaknesses chart is a player character, meaning he is controlled by a real person from the real world. Only non-player characters (like Nigel) do not have strength and weakness charts.

When you have seen those ostriches running thru town. It is reported that Jumanji 4 is supposed to be greenlit. Right now, Johnson is working with director of this movie for another called Red One released around Christmas this year. Then after that JM4 might proceed in production.
Seeing mid credit scene with the Ostriches running got me thinking on plotline for JM4. What if characters of Jumanji like Bravestone transporting into real world fighting along side with Spencer.
The actresses playing Bethany and young Bethany both have the same first names.
You should watch Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. Very few reaction channels have done this series and I think it deserves the attention. There are only 2 seasons. You'll love it!

hii if you mind reacting to a Kdrama, I would recommend you to watch The Penthouse: War in Life. It is a makjang K-drama, the storyline is very interesting and it all started when a girl fell from the 47th floor of the Hera palace. The Hera club members covered up her death by saying it's suicide, but she's murdered. One of the members of the hera club finds out that the girl fell is her daughter, then the revenge starts there. There are so many happenings in every singe episode, plus this drama is very stressful and will make your blood boil. This drama won a lot of awards too!
I don't know if Jack Black and Kevin Hart had ever teamed up before, but I know that Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson have. I believe the title of the movie is Central Intelligence.

I Don't Know What's Funnier: The Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black And Karen Gilian Acting Like Teenagers, Or The Rock And Kevin Hart Acting Like Danny Devito And Danny Glover!
I love Karen the actress of Ruby Roundhouse she's amazing and I know her since she was a teenager in doctor Who. Akwafina the actress of Ming is also amazing and a comedian. This was the first time I saw her. This one was so much better than the one before it in my mind and funnier too I saw it in the theaters when it came out and loved it.
The after the credits scene means that when they make the third movie Jumanji will be coming to them which could be funny to see them meet the characters they were stuck in face to face haha that would be cool if they do that.
Fun movie suggestion: Kingsmen the secret service.

Another Jack Black movie you should watch Tropic Thunder. It's a fun movie and has some other actors in it but I don't know if you've ever heard of them.
It's like a one-time watch. But honestly there's nothing that can top the original take 1995 Jumanji. Robin Williams' Jumanji is the G.O.A.T. for adventure and fun. ❤️
