Cool, but fair warning, if it happens to be the same test mode which Mr. Robot has (which is likely since it’s also manufactured by Feng Yuan…probably. Not to mention, they’re both pretty much the exact same robot with different voices), DON’T EVER leave it idle once it’s finished testing the motors. If you do, it will begin frying components on the board. That’s what happened to one of my Mr. Robots back in 2019, which was the one that I ended up giving to Zorua635. Fortunately, he got it working again after replacing the fried components, and is now part of his collection. I’ll might make a video of the test mode on my Mr. Robot, but I will have to put an explicit warning so that people don’t accidentally fry any of their disc shooters while trying. (though, as far as I know, that particular test mode seems to be exclusive to some of the disc shooters manufactured by Feng Yuan)
@@The_One_Time Really? I’ve never seen any RC space robot toys have this weird test feature like how Robosapien has it. How do you even do it for Space Wiser? Is is possible for the Robbie the Robot that looks like some vintage Space Wiser thingy?
Hold down both buttons on the sides and turn the robot on, keeping them held until the screen flashes. After that, let them go and press the button towards the left 4 times.
@@The-creator-of-good-videos-15 At least, as far as I’m aware of, there isn’t a test mode for Wisdoms. Believe me, I’ve tried many combinations. Maybe it’s a board thing where you activate contacts, but I haven’t checked. Remember, they are bootlegs. They probably had no prior knowledge of a test mode on a V1 at the time as it hasn’t been well documented, and I wouldn’t see why Feng Yuan would bother trying to recreate it 1:1 (especially considering that second gen wisdoms aren’t programmed to tilt when picking up from one side. Goes to show how much care was put into them). That doesn’t mean none of Feng Yuan’s stuff have test modes, but if Wisdoms do have a test mode, I’d guess it would be vastly different from a V1. Oh, and as for listings for Roboreptile clones, uh… I’m not sure Feng Yuan or any other company is selling any Roboreptile clones at the moment, nor are there any listings on eBay or such that I’ve seen. I haven’t bothered keeping up with WowWee bootlegs that much recently, but if I were to guess, answers most likely point to no. Maybe at some point they’ll sell more, but only time will tell. Your best bet is to wait on eBay for one to show up or something. Then again, especially if it were new, it’d probably be sold for more than it’s worth, akin when Yarmoshi distributed the Calvins. Like, $100 for a bootleg who’s been stripped down of functionality from previous generations with fragile gearboxes? Yeah, idk about that chief.
