- Salut Friends, In this video I discuss Paddock, an exclusive limited release from the Hermès created by Jean Claude Ellena (2006). This a rare find : 1 of 500 bottles made for an event honoring the Burgundy Vineyards and Wine tasters. This could have been a potential Hermessence release with the likes of Ambre Narguile and Vetiver Tonka.
Thanks for watching!

You get 10/10 for this, Ol' Boy. I like how Brin is relevant to this presentation;)

À la vôtre, monsieur !
Great & detailed review as always. I especially enjoy the background history you provide. ❤
Thank you so much for your continued support ❤️
Thank you for sharing this. What a rare find! Enjoy!
Thank you very much!
Nicely done! That’s a great piece of history.
Thanks Michael! It absolutely is... the perfume itself is 18 years old now
Lovely! Adoro all your reviews!
Thanks for your kind words
Fascinating! It never occurred to me that a house like Hermes would make secret special releases. But when you have JCE at your disposal, why not!? Nice research.
Thank you Dave! Yes, I was also thrilled to learn that they have been doing it for a While
Nice find! Never heard of it but always cool to discover rare ones from the back catalog.
Thanks! Yes, always interested to smell Hermès. Would love to smell the others like George V
Oh wow 😍 Didn't know they release limited releases like this
They've done quite a few apparently
The way you described the scent does remind me of a certain Parfum D'Empire scent. Time to dig out my samples....as it's the closest I will ever get to this release I guess.
Oh, yes Parfum d'empire seems to take inspiration from classic Hermès
You’re thinking of Salute! (With the ! In the name). I’ve never smelled either, but that has notes of actual wine, the barrel, etc so probably quite different.
What a detailed review. Thank you so much. I am so curious how it smells! I could imagine from your description like a mixture between In Love Again and a Jardin-perfume by Ellena. They all have a greenyness really like when you are in a forest. Not necessarily nice or very perfumlike. The same with In Love Again, which I adore. In the first moment you are inclined to move your nose away from it. Then you discover a world of scents. Like being in nature, not everything is nice, but deep and complexe, a galaxy. But unfortunately they dont have Orange blossom at the end. So this is what makes me curious . What a pity that they dont s(m)ell it anymore. Or do you think, they have it at the Hermes store in Paris?. I will be there end of July.
Thanks Colette! Yes, it is not far from what Ellena did for fresh, fruity smells in the Jardin and Hermessence collections. Only it is a bit more challenging here bringing in the facets of nature that are usually not considered palatable in mainstream perfume. From what I heard it was given out to 500 guests in 2006 and never sold commercially. So it's been a long time. I have not seen it anywhere, so not sure.
