A few things: 1) exit opportunities (consulting open doors to many different types of career path down the line); 2) interesting work (you work on different projects in different industry every few weeks); 3). people you work with (consulting is project based so each project is with a different team, which I find very refreshing)

it really depends, On a busy project it can be 9-10/11pm, on a chill project it can be 9-5
