It’s worth saying that Andrew Clayton has won OSG 3x now. First he won 105kg 2017 then the next year won the open. Then won this year 2022 105kg again.

Love these videos - I always learn a few little nuggets of wisdom from them, so thank you. Especially as you had to film it twice 😖

Worth noticing maybe, Nga actually grabs the bags off center to get the same effect as Lovell got when pulling the bag towards him on his run. Ie the heavy part is at the top when it’s in the lap

On Gav’s stones the last one was the only one where he didn’t bring his feet closer in the lap. So lost out on some valuable height for the last one

Always train your sandbag for both shoulders because you never know what the bag is going to feel like game day!

Just fyi, since you mentioned pound for pound records, I was wondering who had them. It would make sense for the u80s to have all of them bc strength to bodyweight isn't a linear relationship but the 90s have the 80s beat on both the max stone and the max log. Although it almost feels like everyone only keeps breaking the records in training (saw a friend get a 180 kg stone, a year or so before the current 174 kilo record was even set) bc there aren't enough max events to accomodate ^^.
