- Young Chris Thomson got the Peebles U16 7s underway in grand style as he ran in three tries against Kelso in the opening game of the tournament. It was the first competitive match played in the Borders since the lockdown. The first score was set up by Callum Burnett-Godfree.
Peebles went on to win their own competition - a great start to their centenary season.
