I wanted to add a few things:
    - I now understand William miller was not an Adventist, he was a leader of the millerite movement that led to the founding of adventism.
    - In this video, I share what I believe the Holy Spirit showed me about salvation and relationship with God. Salvation isn’t by works nor the law, it’s by grace.
    - My revelation about the sabbath is that it was given to the Israelites as a command, not the gentiles (read Acts 15). The sabbath is symbolic of Eternal Rest in Jesus.
    - People who go to church on Sunday will not go to hell for going to church on a Sunday, it is not the mark of the beast. People go to hell for rejecting Jesus, Who is the only way to the Father.
    - We must test the spirit behind Ellen G. Whites writings. She states in her writings that there was a halo around the 4th commandment and that it was NOT nailed to the cross… which is contrary to what the Word of God says. Which means it is a different gospel.
    - On the Cross, Jesus said "it is finished" then ascended to the Father.. his work was completed, which is different from the 1844 cleansing of the sanctuary doctrine.
    - I apologize for the sound of the smoke alarm 😅 it’s fixed now! Lol
    - Keep it respectful in the comments, we should be able to peaceful disagree as brothers and sisters in Christ.
    Be blessed!

William miller was a adventist (expecting the soon commig of the lord) but he was not a Seventh day Adventist, why does John in 3:21 say 'that whoever does the truth, comes to the light so that his works may become public known the they are from God. Romans 2:6 everyone will be convicted according to his works, so you are not saved by grace alone but by the works you do out of faith, you want to be like Jesus: sinnless, otherwise there is no heaven for you.

My Sis. You said the Holy Spirit is leading u, we are told in the bible to test the spirit bcuz you have demonic spirit out there..
Anyway let me ask you these question.
      1. What does the word Adventist mean?
      2. When God created the Sabbath creation week, where their any Jews there?
      3. Where in the Bible it says the Adam and Eve was a Jewish?
      4. if the Sabbath was given to the Jewish nation, all those who lived before the Jews existed, Noah, Abraham, Which laws and commandments were they keeping?
      Mark of the Beast.
      5. What is a beast invl bible Prophecy?
      6. In Daniel 7, Who is the Beast little Horn that came up out of the fourth Beast?
      7. In revelation 13, who is the Beast from the sea ( Same Beast in Daniel 7)...
If you can identify the Beast you will know the mark..
The Spirit of God will not lead anyone into error so if you can answer these questions with the Bible then I'll leave the Adventist Church too and join you and I mean it.

@@rick382 Rick, I'm not sure if you're insinuating that i have demons... (like what?? lol) But the Holy Spirit can guide us all into all truth.
      - I know that adventist means to await the return of Jesus. I am a christian who believes in Jesus' return. All christians do.
      - The first concept of "rest" recorded in Genesis is when God rested from His work (creation), once and for all. This wasn’t a sabbath that forbid cooking, buying and selling. It’s to represent Eternal Rest.
      - I have never stated Adam and Eve were jewish ??
We do not have record of God telling Adam and Eve to keep the sabbath but God did give them a different command, to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. I guess we can say that was part of their commandments.
      - The sabbath was given as a command in Exodus through Moses, that’s why the law is referred as the law of Moses. John 1:17
-Abraham was told to circumcise every male child. That was the "sign" of the "Covenant" between Him and God... and he obeyed.
Noah built an ark as God commanded him. That was a command to Noah and he obeyed. Genesis 7.
Moses followed the commands God gave him. for example God told Moses to cut two tablets of stone, and meet Him at mount Sinai the next day. That was a command to Moses and Moses obeyed. Exodus 34:1-4. He also followed the Law that was given through him, because he was hebrew.
I think you get my point :)
Regarding the "daniel prophecy/ mark of the beast/sunday worship papacy /catholic antichrist/ egw" type of questions... I'm not answering that :)
Also, I haven't told you to leave adventism. I'm sharing the reasons why I left. I believe that adventists who believe in salvation by grace will be saved. However many believe that attending church on sunday represents a rejection of Jesus's salvation and i simply do not agree.

Seventh-day Adventists who are baptized believers in Adventist doctrine (28 Beliefs) are not Christian. Adventism teaches doctrines which are cursed in the bible. For example, the Adventist gospel message of 3 Angels Messages is not found in the bible and according to Gal. 1:6-9 this gospel is cursed. A church which preaches a gospel which is cursed is not Christian. Adventism is not Christian and not part of the larger Protestant Christian community.
Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

      Colossians 2:8-23
[8]Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
      [9]For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
[10]and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Not Legalism but Christ
[11]In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
[12]buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
[13]And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
[14]having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
[15]Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
[16]So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,
[17]which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.
[18]Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
[19]and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
[20]Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations-
[21]“Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,”
[22]which all concern things which perish with the using-according to the commandments and doctrines of men?
[23]These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.
      Galatians 2:16
[16]know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
      Galatians 3:6-14
[6]So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
[7]Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.
[8]Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”
[9]So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
[10]For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”
[11]Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”
[12]The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”
[13]Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”
[14]He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
      Romans 3:20-28
[20]Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
[21]But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
[22]This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,
[23]for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
[24]and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
[25]God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood-to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished-
[26]he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
[27]Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith.
[28]For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
      Ephesians 2:8-10
[8]For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-
[9]not by (good) works, so that no one can boast.
[10]For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
      Galatians 5:4-5
[4]You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
[5]For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope.
      Acts 13:38-39
[38]“Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.
[39]Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.
      Galatians 2:21
[21]I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”
      Galatians 3:23-27
[23]Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.
[24]So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.
[25]Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
[26]So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith,
[27]for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
      Romans 4:2-8
[2]If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about-but not before God.
[3]What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
[4]Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation.
[5]However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.
[6]David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
      [7]“Blessed are those
      whose transgressions are forgiven,
      whose sins are covered.
      [8]Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

@@rick382 I give you a comment citing two of the largest Adventist theological errors and you choose not to defend even one!
OK, let me give you some more detail and and prove the Adventist gospel is false:
The SDA church teaches a false gospel and according the scriptures (Gal. 1:6-8) is cursed for this false 3 angels gospel. The SDA church has consistently preached this gospel message and continues to declare it, such as publishing it as the official mission statement of the SDA church.
The Saving Gospel is defined in I Cor. 15:1-4 as the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and this gospel was received by him from Jesus (Gal. 1:11-12). The gospel message of the SDA church is composed of the gospel messages of these three angels (Sabbath worship, fate of Babylon and reject Mark of the Beast). The SDA gospel is not the same gospel as the saving Gospel of the Bible divinely revealed to the Apostle Paul and because the SDA teach a false gospel they are accursed (Galatians 1:8)
The SDA church also makes it clear it cannot preach the gospel of the Apostle Paul (1) and states this message is a message for "the day." However, the SDA church errors from the bible. The Apostle Paul taught that anyone preaching "any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed" (Gal. 1:8) (2) and this gospel he received by divine revelation of Jesus (Gal. 1:11-12) (3). The Apostle Paul defines the saving gospel in I Corinthians 15:1-4 (4). Because the SDA church cannot preach the saving gospel of the Apostle Paul (1), it has placed the curse of Galatians 1:6-8 upon its own head and preaches a gospel that the Apostle Paul never taught or preached.
      *REFERENCES*
      1. “To the Seventh-day Adventist Church has been committed, this message. The everlasting gospel was preached by Noah, by Abraham, by Paul and Peter, and by all the prophets and apostles of past ages. It was preached in the setting appropriate to their day. We cannot preach this gospel message as Noah preached it, or as Paul or Luther gave it. It is for us to preach it in the setting of God's great threefold message of Revelation 14.”
The Advent and Sabbath Review Herald. November 29, 1934. p.1
      2. Galatians 1:6-8: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.
      3. Galatians 1:11-12 For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel. (12) For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
      4. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4: Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures

    Dear Abi,
I appreciate the candor with which you shared with the public the beliefs you were brought up with and the newfound truth that you believe were revealed to you b😊 4:55 4:55 y the Holy Spirit. Let me tell you who I am so my remarks can be put into context. When I became a 7th day Adventist, I was only 16. That's about 51years ago. Your mother and I attended the same High School and once she received the message, she shared it with fellow students thru weekly lessons, 40 altogether. The Holy Spirit did for me the work that your dear mother facilitated by making Bible lessons available to me. She was a disciple to me. I was raised Catholic, and getting baptized by immersion was not an easy task. Being a minor who had to depend on her family for food ,shelter, etc was not easy for a new convert. I never looked back by God's grace. Your mom, myself, and 2 others, 4 friends saved by grace did keep the Sabbath as we understood it thru Scriptures. The formula : Salvation by Grace then Obedience to God's ordinances, whatever they might be. God honored our obedience by allowing us to rank in our High School class the 4 top students even when our math classes were held on Saturday and we did not attend. It is similar to the story of the 3 Hebrew boys. Our story had an impact on fellow students as well as our math teacher who told us years later how he remembered us because of that experience. Guess what? The students stopped coming to Saturday classes saying that they didn't see the point, since the 4 who didn't attend were always ranking at the top of the class. God had honored our obedience. It will take too long if I had to go thru the different notions you so eloquently presented in the video and use the Scriptures to agree or disagree, maybe next time. I have to agree with one of the comments stating that you don't really owe an explanation as to why you are no longer part of the SDA denomination. God whom is essentially Grace from Genesis to Revelation, reads the heart and understands it better than anyone, keeps on seeking each one of His childre, and will help you in your quest to find the Truth. Scriptures said: You will seek the Truth and the Truth will set you free. I will tell you a secret: After the loss of your dear mother, my spiritual sister, best friend, I made a commitment to pray forher adult children ,as well as mine and that hasn't changed. I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you while yo are seeking the truth.

Abi, it was interesting to hear your views. I was not brought up in the Seventh-day Adventist Church but I accepted the message at an early age and by God's grace I am still holding on to the truths of the faith. Let me say here, it is not a religion. We are all part of the same Christian faith but we as SDAs differ from many others because we believe and know that God wants us to honour the truths of His Word. In the same way He wants us to keep the other 9 commandments, we are expected to keep the fourth commandment, particularly at this time when many do not acknowledge Him as our Creator! He has told us to honour His Sabbath and it shall be a sign between us and Him that He is our Creator!
We know that our salvation comes to us only through Jesus Christ who paid the price on Calvary. Having accepted Him as our Saviour, He said to us "If you love me, keep my commandments". Please read what He said Matthew 5:17-19. We do not keep the commandments to be saved but because we choose to be obedient to Him.
I pray that in your quest for truth you will be guided by the Holy Spirit and my prayer is that we will be kept faithful until He returns. Be blessed.

The SDAC believing it is this special last day church tends to not embrace anything new, certainly is suspicious of anything new and He had so much more to teach me. I did not leave the SDA PRIMARILY for the doctrinal errors. I left because there are truths about -
      - spiritual gifts (as she said)
      - the gospel of the KINGDOM OF GOD which she refers to and that is EXACTLY - what Jesus, Paul and the disciples call it and for a reason.
      - spiritual warfare. the SDA TALKS about a great controversy all the time and know NEXT TO NOTHING about the engaging the war desecribed in Eph 6 the REAL controversy
      - Baptism of the Holy Spirit and extremely important but completely neglected truth.
and I could name a few more but this is just to say my departure was more to benefit from truths I could SEE in the scripture and SDA puts absolutely no emphasis on or no attention at all.

    1. Miller was not Adventist. Adventists agree that we do not know the day and the hour.
    2. Adventists believe in salvation by grace.
    3. The new covenant refer to the renewal of the heart (not passing of the law). Further scripture states: 'For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts' (Jeremiah 31:33). The law seem to be part of the renewal of the heart (another prophecy of the new covenant). Furthermore, Jesus teaches that the one who teaches others to break the law will be called the least in heaven (sermon on the mount). Jesus also said: 'If you love me you will keep my commandments'. The Sabbath is an excellent time to grow our love for Christ. Thus, the Sabbath is very Christ-centered. And letter to the Romans says that we uphold the law even though grace is what forgives us. Furthermore, the book of revelation tells us that the saints are they that have the faith in Jesus and keep the commandments.
    4. Adventists do not believe that Ellen white is the only end time prophet. More will likely come. And the scripture teaches us so.
    5. Sorry to say this, but your comments about Adventism are mostly misleading and incorrect.

      Hi, Thanks for your comment!
-Miller was the leader of the Advent movement.
      - Ellen G white believed that if you eat a certain way and go to church on Sunday means you would not be saved, which is contrary to the gospel of salvation by grace. She also stated that if you rejected her revelations you were rejecting God.
      - the new covenant is NEW. There’s a difference. It’s not a renewal as this would imply God wrote it on stone and realized that wouldn’t work so, now God has decided to write it on our hearts. Why wouldn’t have God just written the law on our hearts from the beginning? The old covenant is with the blood of animals, the New is with the blood of Jesus. The old covenant was under the law, the new is under grace. The old had Moses as a mediator, the new has Jesus 🤍 The old covenant law was the entire law for the slaves in Egypt who were Hebrews, the gentiles were not commanded to keep their law (Acts 15). The new covenant has laws as well, and the standard is higher. When Jesus says If you love me keeps my commandments, He is not going back to the Old Testament commands. Here a New Testament command from Jesus :
And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭3‬:‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
I will not tell anyone to not keep commandments. If we follow Jesus, He will lead us and guide us into all truth. I pray you enter the New covenant rest 🤍 His yoke is easy, his burden is light.

In my early years, I was about to walk away from the SDA church. God led me to a series by Pastor Stephen Bohr called cracking the Genesis code. I went through it, and my faith in God has strengthened. I realize that 1. I didn't know God for myself. 2. As a young man, I wanted to enjoy the sins (some of it) that this world offered.
I study every doctrine of the SDA church to see if they are true, and I realize I didn't understand them bcuz I wanted to still go to church but enjoyed the world. That's serving two master and it wouldn't work. I gave up the world bcuz:
    1. The Seventh Day Adventist Church is the ONLY movement that has the two identifying marks of the Remnant in Rev 12:17.
The 10 commandment of God (Exd 20:1-17), which includes the 7th day Sabbath.
    2. The testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit or gift of prophecy Rev 19:10. So, there must be a prophet in the midst that helps to reveal God's will to us.
Those two marks disqualified 99% of all the other churches. Why? They don't keep all the commandments, and they dont have the testimony of Jesus.
They all keep Sun- day which is a man-made institution, in Daniel 7, Rev 13, 17,18 etc the bible prophesy that a little power will raise up AFTER the fall of Pagan Rome among the 10 European empire and it will be different, it will grow in Power, it will change God's law, it will kill Christians etc .. HISTORY confirms that this is the Roman Catholic Church State.
After the fall of Pagan Rome, 10 nation arise out of it, England, France, Germany, Italy , Spain, etc, and then a little one came up, which is THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH STATE WHICH CHANGE THE SABBATH TO SUNDAY, USE THE STATE TO KILL MILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS ETC.. this is history confirming what the Bible predicts, and today, all the churches keep Sunday not bcuz God says so, but because the Pope says so.
REV 10 prophesy that at the end of the 2300 years prophecy from 457 BC to 1844 that out of a great disappointmentment, the Remnant church will be born. That's nothing new, out of the disappointment of the disciples of Jesus thinking he was about to restore Jerusalem, birth the Christian Church.
    The investigative judgment.
In Rev 22 Jesus says he comes with his reward to give to all men, now a little common sense tells us, if Jesus is coming with his reward he must have done some judging first to see who will get eternal life and death.
All through out the Bible you have the concept of the INVESTIGATIVE JUDGEMENT.
    1. Adam and Eve- God came down to investigate and then pass his sentences.
    2. Noah and the Flood
    3. Sodom
    4. Cain and Abel
    5. The Jewish nation.
    6. The tower of Babel
    7. Nineveh.
A study of the Jewish Sanctuary shows that at the end of the year, they had a day of atonement (judgment) Daniel 8:14 unto 2300 days (a day for a year) the Sanctuary will be cleanse.
Quick calculation shows that from 457BC to 1844, that's the end of life this period. So if there are no earthly sanctuary to cleanse in 1844, it must be the heavenly. This is why Paul tells us Jesus is our high priest who is ministering in the Sanctuary above.
    The Feast days.
Jesus must fulfill all the Jewish feast days and he has done so. Just one left.
    1. Passover - Jesus was the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the word.. fulfilled.
    2. Feast of unleavened bread- through Jesus' sacrifice, he fulfilled this feast.
    3. First fruit- Jesus present himself before the Father as our first fruit from the dead, telling us the harvest is coming.. fulfilled.
    4. Pentecost- Jesus was anointed in Jesus as our high priest and entered his work in the First apartment of the Sanctuary and the spirit fell on the disciples... in the old testament, Aaron was anointed with oil before He started his work as the high priest. Fulfilled.
    5. Feast of trumpets- Jesus fulfilled this by sending us warnings through the word that we must live godly loves bcuz the Day of Jeudgment is coming.. we have the bible.
    6. Day of atonement - Jesus my high priest fulfilled this feast in 1844 when he move into the second apartment to beginning the work of Judgement which is still going on today..
This is why we are given the 3Angels messages to warn people that They must turn from their sins bcuz we are living in the day of Atonement.
What happen when Aaron came out of the Sanctuary on the day of atonement? All who have not confess their sins would have been cut off, hello when Jesus says it is done, all who reject truth will be cut off.
    7. The feast of Tabernacle..JESUS WILL FULFIIL THIS FEAST WHEN HE RETURN TO TAKE HIS PEOPLE HOME AND IN THE NEW EARTH.. the tabernacle of God is with man.
    The 3 angels Messages.
My sister, God will not destroy anyone until they make a choice to reject him... Noah was given a warning message, few accept it then the flood came.
SDA has been given a warning message , when its done the 🔥 will come.
The world must fear God and give glory to him. Worship him who made the heaven and earth bcuz a judgment is coming.
Who will this judgment be meatedout on, Babylon ( a system of confusion which includes churches who are lying to people). All who accept the mark of the Beast who is the head of Babylon will receive the plagues.
Base on Daniel 7, Rev 13,17,18 and other books in the Bible a beast is a kingdom/nation and this beast in these books IS THE ROMAN CATHOLIC PAPACY THAT ALL THE LEADERS, CHURCHES, BUSINESSES, MOVIE, MUSIC STARS ETC BOW DOWN TO.
Rev 18 says all the world will wonder after the Papacy, its happening today, the ecumenical movement is bringing all the churches back to Rome..
SINCE THE PAPACY IS THE BEAST WHAT IS HIS MARK OF AUTHORITY IT IS SUNDAY WORSHIP... THEY SAY IT AND THEY STAND BY IT.
Ellen White was shown over 100 years ago that the Sunday law begin in AMERICA.
America will form on image to the Papacy Rev 13.. meaning just like how church and state are one in the Vatican, America will do the same..
Let me ask u a question, what is the republican party / project 2025 seeking to do TODAY, THE speaker of the house Mike Johnson says that their should be no separation between church and state.. in the project 2025 document they put in there they want to legislate Sunday..
My sister and all who read this you will have to be blind not to see that all that the Bible says will happen is happening.
ONLY 1 CHURCH TODAY PREACH. TEACH THESE THINGS AND WARN PEOPLE ABOUT WHAT IS COMING IS THE SDA CHURCH WHICH IS THE REMNANT CHURCH OF GOD.
I AM GO ON AND ON BUT ILL LEAVE IT THERE.
JUST MAYBE YOU NEED TO TAKE A SECOND LOOK.... I THANK GOD THAT I DIDNT WALK AWAY.

OK, I will take your challenge to have a closer look at what you posted. Let's start with the false SDA gospel.

There is no SDA there...only home churches meeting on Thursdays and Fridays as that is the weekend there. No Sunday or Saturday churches as those two days are normal work days. What I experienced in those churches was a powerful presence of God and physical miracles happening. This changed my views on day of worship...that God can be worshipped in truth and in Spirit all days of the week. SDA lost its uniqueness to me. In fact SDA pride is so bad...every time teaching on fake Sunday law. I left I came a Baptist and I don't carry unnecessary baggage. And I love Jesus Christ. The new is under the Blood of Jesus, with Jesus as a Forever Priest and this law is given to Jews and gentiles who accept Jesus. The standard for the law is higher in the new covenant, bc we shouldn’t even sin inside of our hearts. One evil thought, and that’s it. This is why we need God’s grace and mercy.

      Is it really?
We are justified by simple faith in Christ, not by the works of the law. We need to take into account all of the council of God's Word.
Read the following scriptural references carefully:
      Colossians 2:8-23
[8]Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
      [9]For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
      Titus 3:4-5
[4]But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,
[5]he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

Why all those blasphemous God-dishonoring lies and propaganda you are spreading?
In 31 C.E., God found his church by pouring the Holy Spirit on His true followers. They spread the good news throughout the then known world.
God had foretold this, He was reclaiming His spiritual “wife” and her “seed”(Isaiah 54:1-8; Gal. 4:26, 27).
However, John was shown that this woman and her seed would be the object of fierce attacks by Satan and his demons especially after the death of the apostles (Acts 20:29, 30; Revelation 12:1-17).
By then, the "mystery of iniquity" was already working imperceptibly (2Thes. 2:7). How so?
Some false teachers had started spreading lies such as, the secret rapture (2Thes 2:1-2), the spiritual resurrection (2Timothy 2:16-18; 1Corinthians 15:12), etc.
      But, there still existed a restraining force to that apostasy-the apostles (2Thes 2:7; 2Peter 3:1-3; 2John 1:9-11; Romans 16:17-19).
Some time after the death of all the apostles, the GREAT APOSTASY set in: false teachings flourished, false prophets and false teachers (2Revelation 2:9; 3:9; Jude 1:4; 1John 2:18-19; 4:1; 2Peter 2:1; 3:15, 16).
Daniel had been shown that counterfeit christians would atrack this SPIRITUAL “Israel of God” and throw down the truth (Daniel 8:9-13; Galat. 6:16; 1Peter 2:9-11)
What was attacked? According to Daniel 8:9-13 and Daniel 7:25:
      * The truth was attacked
      * The seed of the woman was attacked
      * The sanctuary or temple
      * The law of God was attacked, etc
What is this temple or salnctuary? The heavenly temple and those who worship in it (Hebrews 8:1, 2, 5; Ephesians 2:6; Colos. 1:13; 1 Corinthians 3:16).
But, Daniel was ALSO shown that in the “TIME OF THE END”, after 2300 prophetic days, that is, in 1844, the “SANCTUARY” or “TEMPLE” would be restored (Daniel 8:13, 14). Malachi was also shown this great event (Malachi 3:1-5). So, did that happen in 1844?
True to that prophecy, in 1844 the “SANCTUARY” or “TEMPLE” and those who worship in it were RESTORED. How? As foretold, THE REMNANT of the seed of the woman was restored!!! Today, the remnant is known as THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH (Revelation 10:8-11; 11:1).
The arrogant and proud apostates are being used by Satan the Devil and his demons to misrepresent that truth and to propagate God-dishonoring, malicious, and blasphemous lies against that REMNANT CHURCH. These apostates include the poor arrogant DIGRUNTLED ONES and THEIR poor Devil-duped followers!

When will Seventh-day Adventists stop mis-quoting Jesus. John 14:15 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
This verse does not say “Keep the Commandments” as in 10 Commandments because God nowhere gave 10 Commandments, which in Hebrew would be “eser miṣvâ”, but God did given 10 Words, which is in the Hebrew “eser dāḇār.” It is impossible for Jesus to supposedly encourage keeping the 10 Commandments because biblically there is no such thing as “10 Commandments.”
Jesus did say to “Keep His Commandments.” The Greek word for Commandments in this verse is “entole” which is NOT the Greek word for the 10 Commandment or Law which is “Nomos.” Jesus is not saying to keep the NOMOS, but to keep His ENTOLE. Jesus said to keep all that He commanded.
Jesus has many, many commandments recorded in Scripture. One example is Matthew 5:21-22 where Jesus says:
"You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment. But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell of fire.”
Jesus takes one of the 10 commandments and adds to it by saying that if you get so angry as to have thoughts of murder, then you are liable to hell fire. The 10 commandments on murder does not include thoughts of murder, but now Jesus adds anger leading to thoughts of murder even though the act of murder did not occur.
Jesus has commands which are not found in the 10 commandments such as Matthew 5:22-23. I agree, keep Jesus commandments.

@@AcademyApologia good explanation! The new covenant is a bit different from the old as Jesus wants us to actively love one another from inside of our hearts. It’s about inward repentance and transformation from the Holy Spirit.
I can hate someone and still not murder them, not steal from them and not covet their possessions. I can still keep the sabbath and have idolatry or perversion in my heart… BUT in the new covenant Jesus wants us to take it a step further!

@@abigailmpofu4210 Ok, let's move on to more substance and if I am so ignorant, then you will find it easy to refute me.

Hello I hope this helps. I think this is one of the most significant doctrines of the Kingdom of God. A good place to start is to put the phrase in any bible app and just see what the BIBLE says. A lot will just jump out at you.
BUT two significant things are Jesus and Paul and the disciples have almost ALWAYS referred to the gospel as the GOSPEL (GOOD NEWS) OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, not just "the gospel".
The next verse that I find Jesus also said in John 3:3 -- “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
In brief the Kingdom of God is not ONLY the kingdom that is coming at the Second Advent. The Bible says the Kingdom of God is IN US and we need to understand what that means and Jesus told us the Kingdom of God is "AT HAND". He was not speaking of the second coming. He was speaking of something that IS WITHIN REACH but would require us to reach out FOR IT.
The Kingdom of God is where God reigns. In other words where the KING has DOMinion in that physical space but more so IN A CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCE. For example. When Jesus in Luke 11:20 after casting out a spirit of dumbness out of a man he said to those who challenged him "if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you." What does it mean to have the Kingdom COME UPON YOU. Clearly this is not the Second Coming of the Kingdom.
No. Two kingdoms are at war. When a dumb evil spirit is occupying someone satan holds sway over that person's capacity to SPEAK. When Jesus casts out that demon whose power, whose will, whose plans DOMinate? God's does. Hence what Jesus says - the KING (God's) will, power, plans subdues satan's and DOMinates. THAT is part of what we got from the death of Jesus. It is not just forgiveness of sin but POWER over the enemy -
      Luke 9:1-2
Then he called his twelve disciples together and AND GAVE THEM POWER AND AUTHORITY over ALL the demons and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD and to heal the sick. Part of preaching the kingdom of God is not in WORDS - it is doing just as Jesus did - DEMONSTRATE the power of God to subdue the works of the enemy. We saw the early church doing just that in the book of ACTS. See not the book of WORDS
      Paul says it best
1Co 2:4 "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in DEMONSTRATION of the Spirit and of power" and every time Paul, cast a demon out or healed someone of disease he was demonstrating that the KINGDOM OF GOD (God's will power and plan for that person), was in operation.... is AT HAND and Paul "reaches out for it" because God has given us POWER AND AUTHORITY.
God gave Adam DOMINION over the Earth. When the first couple chose to listen to the voice of the enemy and not God they redistributed that dominion to satan. Jesus took back that authority and has not given it to us and part of the GOOD NEWS is that we are no longer under the dominion of satan but we can live NOW in the Kingdom of God (where His plans, power and will is done) THROUGH US.
That's why the Spiritual gifts that Abi mentioned are crucial BECAUSE it is through them that the Kingdom of God is released in this world.
Its so much more but when i learnt this doctrine I realised i was livving BELOW God's plan and expectation. Now I have begun to walk in the DEMONSTRATION OF THE KINGDOM and am discovering my spiritual gifts. He promised in 1 Cor 12 that He has given each of us supernatural gifts. If I remained in Adventism I would not discover that gift and how to walk in it to the glory of God because as Abi says PROPECY is the one that is focused on and glorified as expressed in their prophet. ONE person and not others.
Didn't mean to be this long BUT it is a crucial beautiful doctrine and I hope that I have at least stirred your interest. ALOT awaits you if you start the study. God bless.

First and foremost, my sister, salvation is not as easy or cheap as you think. Grace is something given to the undeserving. And this act doesn't mean we are at liberty to live in whatever manner and do whatever we want because salvation is by grace. When Adam and Eve sinned, because God is so loving, he followed them, killed the innocent animal to cover their nakedness, which was pointing to the death of Christ. Faith without works is dead. Meaning as a result of having faith in Christ Jesus, we must prove it by keeping his law, which is obedience. And for your own information, God is very organized, that is why to each and everything he has said something, how to worship him and when. What to eat and what not to. How to dress as a child of God. John 3:16 calls for action. It is the same loving God who killed our forefathers at Sodom and Noah's time, and saved only a few who obeyed him. When people feel like their freedom is limited by being a Christian, they find all the the reasons and interpreting scriptures wrongly to suit their own desires and wish.

      [9]For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

The angel said, “These are they who have once kept the Sabbath and have given it up.” I heard them cry with a loud voice, “We have believed in Thy coming, and taught it with energy.” And while they were speaking, their eyes would fall upon their garments and see the writing, and then they would wail aloud. I respect your opinions on the SDA church and I can admit to some of your I say lectures here. I am an SDA for 54 years. I too was confused about some of the doctrine of 1844 but that did not make me to denounce the beliefs. It was about 5 years after I joined the church that I really found Christ as my personal savior. Before that I was born into a Catholic church family. One of the things I admired about the church was a man dying on the cross so I had an upbringing to the cross of Jesus Christ. But what I did'nt know was the real meaning as to why he was born, He had died and was resurrected. After I was born again, the bible became so real to me. The 10 Commandments, the state of the death, heaven, health reform, the Sabbath, etc. gave me real meaning and I was more at peace and love with Jesus Christ.
Anybody can do their own searching and be convince as to the truth.
The bible may sound confusing and even contradictory but as people continue to study, it will be more clear to them.
On of the question that no one, yes no one in this world can find the andswer as to the existence of Almighty God.
I ask, before anything existed the bible says that God is eternal that there is no beginning and that there was nothing before him. So what was in front of him , to the sides, back , and below him if there was nothing before him????
Can you answer that? No I believe you cannot. There are mysteries in the bible but there are many answers to many of our questions.
Yes, Jesus alone is our savior and the cross answers God's love for each one of us. John 3:16. I say, the 10 Commandments is still valid as long as we still have this sinful nature which be taken away at the coming at the Lord and we will inherit Eternal life. The thief on the cross wasn't baptized, given bible study etc. but Christ granted him salvation thru faith alone.
Be at peace and please don't discourage others from searching for truth. God bless.

      Richard,
I noticed you had a Catholic background, now do you believe in any of those doctrines from your Catholic background? I feel when people left a church, one does NOT prove from the Bible of how one or more doctrines are false, or how they can be manipulated again. Take for instance: 1John 2:4; does it say those that don't keep the commandments have no truth in them? Do you understand this scriptural verse of 1John 2:4? SDA's say this verse is pertaining to Catholics and Sunday Protestants. If SDA Church believed in 1John 2:4 strongly, then why did SDA Church borrow doctrines from Catholics and Sunday Protestants? Did you NOT notice that SDA Church only changed a few doctrines to biblical doctrines, such as: Sunday to Saturday, Immortal Soul to "death as a sleep", etc., but why did SDA NOT change pagan feast days to God's Feast Days in Lev.23, or Christ's Death Friday and resurrection Sunday to Christ's Death Wednesday and resurrection Saturday (before sunset), etc.? The Bible states in Eph.5:27 that God's church would be without spot or blemish, but SDA Church has spot and blemish, for it follows the crowd (Matt.7:13) in Babylon Confusion (Rev.17:5,18:4). A good church cannot have evil in it.
I do NOT know if you understood anything I said, but beware SDA has several false doctrines that they borrowed from Catholics & Sunday protestants. I know many SDA's do NOT study their Bible, or really see if one's doctrine contradicts the Bible, but that's why their blinded to actually see, for one's pride gets in the way. I had seen the contradictions, but as I had seen, I went to God (James 1:5) about the SDA Church contradicting His Word and God called me into His Church in Acts 20:28. I can name you a few of these false doctrines if you are willing to listen with a humble open mind, you don't have to agree with me, but you should open your mind by listening closely to every word and see what I'm saying matches up to God's Word. I can show you the Death of Jesus Christ with all the biblical details, if you really want to learn, but please let me know.

Are you humble and open-minded? Are you searching for truth or do you think you have the truth already? People from all sorts of religions think they have the truth, but the problem is that people do NOT study their Bible much and/or read the Bible, and/ or ask God Himself if one is in the truth. There are many false prophets in the world, and of these false prophets they manipulate the scriptures and brainwash you to believe their way than what the Bible states. ⛔Think: When you were in the Catholic faith, you were in it a long time; did you ever prove to yourself that every doctrine was false from the Bible? Probably NOT.
Now you have been in the SDA Church for 54 years and out of that time, you were introduced to several new doctrines and several of the old doctrines you previously had from Sunday Worship, have you really examined these several doctrines closely? Probably NOT. Now what makes it hard for a person to see clearly is that a person only believes what they're told, thinking that no one could lie to them, but if you were lied once previously and you didn't know you were deceived, what makes you think you are NOT deceived again? Think of it as court, you have 2 sides to a story, but one side is NOT telling you the truth while the other is NOT, so how can you tell which one is telling the truth? You really cannot tell because at times the persecution can do their thinking of what they thought what happened (manipulating) and the other side says "objection", or "vice or versa" as leave out important facts about one's character, as do NOT want certain witnesses to testify, etc. So I ask again, how does one really know? You would have to dig deep into the case such as the series "Bull" does, to distinguish if his defendant is telling the truth or NOT. It's like a fake $100.00 bill and a genuine $100.00 bill, how do you know the difference? To know, one has to examine closely a genuine $100.00 bill to know the fake: it's the same to religion.
➡️How many religions have actually studied where their doctrines came from, and how many religions have taken the Bible as fact, and how many religions really let the Bible interpret the Bible, instead of manipulating the scriptures to make it sound to their way of thinking? You talked about the 1844 doctrine, born-again and heaven, but have you examined these doctrines closely to the Bible as with Christ's life, Christ's death Friday and resurrection Sunday, etc. Remember for every false doctrine, there is a true doctrine. Also remember if one religion has 3 pagan Catholic doctrines, the same can go with 3 other false doctrines. For instance: take for instance the United Church of God, the church believes in celebrating their birthday (pagan), but has another false doctrine that goes with this pagan teaching, and that is believes in 13 tribes of Israel by manipulating a certain scripture in the Bible, instead of 12 tribes (Gen.32:28 = Jacob to Israel, Gen.49 & Rev.7:5-8). Another instance is SDA has the pagan doctrine of birthdays too along with the pagan doctrines of Christ's Death Friday and resurrection Sunday, Elijah in heaven, trinity, born-again, etc., but for every pagan doctrine, SDA has a false doctrine of their own such as that you can't eat butter, cheese, etc. when the Bible says you can, the doctrine of 1844, the dates of Nebuchadnezzar's Dream wrong, first beast is Papal Rome instead of "Pagan Rome, 2nd Beast is USA instead of Papal Rome: SDA's don't let the Bible interpret the Bible as probably forgot the two legs of the image in Daniel 2:31-45 is Rome and that it gets broken up.
For instance: For every true doctrine, there is a false doctrine, you stated "born again", how do you know the doctrine you were taught is false or true, since there are always 2 sides to a story. What if the Bible explained that born-again is NOT what actually people were taught but a simple form of a true Christian being raised up in a glorious spiritual body (born again in a state of no blemish)? There was a shut door in Noah's day. There was at that time a withdrawal of the Spirit of God from the sinful race that perished in the waters of the flood. God Himself gave the shut door message to Noah: "My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." Genesis 6:3.
There was a shut door in the days of Abraham. Mercy ceased to plead with the inhabitants of Sodom, and all but Lot, with his wife and two daughters, were consumed by the fire sent down from heaven.
There was a shut door in Christ's day. The Son of God declared to the unbelieving Jews of that generation, "Your house is left unto you desolate." Matthew 23:38.
Looking down the stream of time to the last days, the same infinite power proclaimed through John: "These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth." Revelation 3:7.
That is, for every generation there is a period when God would not pleand for human beings and destruction follows.

Growing up SDA I didn't have a clear idea that the Holy of Holies and the Right hand of God The Father are synonymous things.
Neither was I aware that much about the doctrine of being "Sealed" so never paid much attention about being sealed by the Sabbath or by the Holy Spirit. Being Sealed was more Church of God talk as far as I was concerned growing up as an SDA. Wasn't sure what Church of God people were talking about by being Sealed.

Sister, Abi- Christ says in JOHN 14:15- Which are this commandments? Please help me understand; how many of God's commandments can one break and not be counted a SINNER?
In ReV 14:12- is a contrast made by John of two groups; one group having received the mark of the beast and the other Not. Which commandments are being spoken of here in Rev 14:12?
Please because you must be sincere- i too request that you help make sense of what i have raised.

    • @AcademyApologia
      @AcademyApologia 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Very interesting video!
0:10 I felt compelled to comment as I can see you are being sincere and trying not to offend.
2:30 I also like what you say about being Kingdom minded, that there will not be one religion/denomination going to heaven, and that you seek to walk with God and do His will.
3:37 My comments below, are not so much about your leaving the SDA church, but some of things you feel are incorrect teachings.
4:40 Hebrews 9 confirms that Jesus was in the Holy Place after ascending to Heaven which is consistent with Him bing our new High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary. He was not referred to in the Bible as going straight to the Most Holy Place. 'Seated at the Right hand of God' refers to His status as being equal to God, it does not refer to His physical location.
5:40 What the Bible shows is that the ceremonial/sacrificial system is abolished because Jesus is our sacrifice. He died for our sins, and God sees it as an acceptable sacrifice to cover our imperfections, so there is no need for the ceremonies and sacrifices to atone for our sins because Jesus paid it all. So this doesn't abolish the law, but the punishment for sin is taken from us by Christ.
As you would agree, this is quite different to any notion suggesting we can now deliberately sin because it's all covered. That doesn't show love for God does it?
7:23 If you review the point you make about Jeremiah and the New Covenant. You will notice that you correctly quote the part about 'Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers'. However, you stop at verse 32 and miss the point God is making. It is not a new law, it is a new location. Verse 33 says 'But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people'.
7:50 Ephesians, Galatians, Romans and Hebrews do teach we are not saved by the law. No one should be making that point. But it seems that the mistake being made goes too far the other way to suggest that the law has changed.
8:45 Jesus is our rest, He Is God, and He gave us a Sabbath for our benefit, whereas another mistake being made is those who look on the Sabbath as a burden, when the intention is to give us a day when we can put secular work aside and have some protected time to be with the Lord. Yes if our lives allow us other times and days, that's great, but what has happened is that Sunday has become the protected day while Sabbath is just another secular day. That is not biblical.
9:40 I have no issue with your opinions on Ellen White, and if there are things she says that do not match up with the Bible, then of course go with the Bible. I believe Ellen White herself says this.
14:26 I think the dietary laws are followed because the bible does encourage good health. So I believe if God told us what foods are clean or unclean, even though it may not be a salvation issue, it is a positive health issue and based on what God told us. However, many do go too far. They should not be looking down on people who do not follow the health laws.
19:15 You make a good point about the Sabbath becoming a point of division amongst Christians, however, your criticism seems to only go one way. Sabbath keepers equally mocked and derided for their faith .
20:25 I agree with you that the 'Walk with God' is the key thing and bigger than everything else', but I believe that walk and the Sabbath are not competing concepts. The Seventh day will always be the God's Sabbath, and it will always be Holy. We have free will, but the invitation to accept the Sabbath as a day of rest to worship the creator is always there. God gave us the 6 days to do our work etc. If we have the luxury in life that work and other duties don't get in the way of those other days too, then that is great, we can worship/rest every day, but God gave us the Sabbath as a physical as well as a spiritual gift.
22:30 Your fast sounds wonderful, and having every day feel like the Sabbath sounds like a glorious blessing. If you maintain that walk with God, who can have any objection? My only one plea would be not to ignore the Sabbath Day that God made Holy by using it as just another day where secular work, secular activities etc are carried out. Cherish it, it is a blessing.
23:00 I've never been taught to be fearful of the return of Christ. The bible does say some very clear things about the troubles that will come, and we are told in Revelation 14:12 that God's elect (having the patience of the saints) during this time will be those who keep the Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. But the bible ends with the words "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." So we are indeed taught that His quick return is something to pray for, not to fear. I'm really shocked if that is what they taught or the impression they gave.
24:49 To be clear, I know Heaven will not be full of SDA's or Sabbath keepers. I know it will be full of people who have broken all manner of God's Commandments, (by God's grace I will be one of them) but had their sins covered by the blood of Jesus. The 10 Commandments shouldn't be lived by as a checklist. That is clearly the wrong approach, but while walking with God, we will follow His laws naturally because they are placed in our minds and written on our hearts, not because we have to work our way into heaven.
    Some final thoughts:
Yes, Salvation is a gift from God through Jesus. Accepting the gift and allowing the Holy Spirit to change us means we will keep God's Commandments naturally and out of love, not through obligation or to be saved. If we want to be like Jesus in all ways or to be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect, we will follow His commandments. So I agree that mechanically keeping the law in order to be saved will not work, but I think it is dangerous for anyone to suggest that God's Commandments are irrelevant.
I just don't want people to think that 'Hey, I have Jesus so it doesn't matter what I do'. The new testament tells us that sin is transgression of the law. So there is a law. It's nature doesn't change. Whether we want to call it the 10 Commandments, or the Two Great commandments, Jesus' New Commandment, the law of Christ, being kingdom minded, walking with God, walking with Christ or any other terms we wish to choose; if we are being genuine in our faith, they should all point toward the nature of God. God is consistent and unchanging.
I don't know which SDA church you grew up in, but it seems SDA's have failed you if the impression you have is that the Sabbath is a burden, because that is not how God intended it. I know my post won't suddenly change your mind (if you even read it), but I hope you can come to understand how the Sabbath was put in place by God to be a blessing, not a curse.
Sorry, I wrote such an essay, but I wanted to cover as many of your points as possible. God bless!

      [9]For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
      Titus 3:4-5
[4]But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,
[5]he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

My father had been involved in Campus Crusades for Christ when I was young and I remembered Peter Gillquist had also been involved with CCC, I discovered his book, Becoming Orthodox: A Journey to the Ancient Faith. It was eye-opening and reaffirmed my faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ. My husband and I attended a Devine Liturgy and were both immediately struck by the sense of being in the presence of God. It is of course very different from the services I attended as a young person. However, the services in the SDA church are now completely unrecognizable to me. The praise singing the turning the service schedule upside down to conform to the more Evangelical Pentecostal form of church is completely antithetical to me. We are there to worship God, not create a concert type atmosphere of self emotional gratification. Should we not be seeking reverence and a spirit of repentance? Salvation is in Jesus Christ. Seventh day adventist church is a false church that was started by a false prophetess. For example, God has never sent a woman to preach or start and teach a church (1 Timothy 2:11-15),(1 Corinthians 14:34-37). She taught that Christ never finished his atonement and that he is in heaven still working on the atonement through the investigative judgement that is a complete lie, the scripture does not teach such thing.(Hebrews 1:3),(Hebrews 10:11-15).
The adventist church teaches that Jesus is not the Almighty God but rather michael the archangel and one of the three beings in heaven which make up God. That is another conplete lie (Revelation 1;7-18),(Titus 2:13-15),(1 Timothy 1:17). Lastly, the adventist church does not believe in the new covenant and they also do not believe in being born again by being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and being filled with the Holy ghost (Acts 2:37-38),(Acts 19:2-7). They believe many other lies that I will spare...

Who are Christians? Christianity has it's roots in Jewish economy. The disciples/apostles were doing God's work and because people saw they lived like Christ they called them Christians. We can't seperate Christianity from the Jewish system because that's where it comes from. On the other hand Judaism remains those Jews who don't believe Jesus is the Messiah.
With thàt said, the 7th day sabbath isn't the Jewish Sabbath but God's sabbath.
Leviticus 23:3 says gather for worship talking about the 7th day sabbath then goes into talking about feasts which are also called sabbaths. Throughout the Bible history God's people worshipped on the sabbath, Jesus did keep it, the apostles kept it and the gentiles who converted did.

      [9]For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

James is dealing with false converts who claimed faith in Christ, but they had nothing more than head knowledge. The proof of one's true justification by Faith & salvation is how they go on to live their lives and how they treat others.

I’m very confused as to why some SDA’s on this thread are knocking this young lady’s journey. It’s her journey, not yours. She seems like she is seeking God earnestly for herself. That is perfectly ok. She does not need permission from any of you to document her journey. Some of these comments are haughty and reek of self righteousness. So disappointing and lacking in Christian love. Just pray and wish her well. Geesh!

So many opinions when we only need to concern ourselves with His voice. His thoughts and His Word. Don't get caught up in points of contention. Take a pause, quiet everything, and pray. Then, ask God to show you the way and follow Him. From a peace seeker

Hey George 👋. I don't blame anyone who left the truth and gods law. I blame the lack of understanding of gods words. You quoted 2 cor 3:7. ( BUT IF) the ministration of death, written and engraven in stone. I know that you think that this is gods law. Ok, I want you to read gods law to me from the first law until the tenth law. Exodus 20. Question. Does any of those laws say that to kill someone? If yes, show it to me. The law was given to Moses through God was all about love. We may all speak English, but we have to be careful the way we read it and understand because we might misleading the massage. This what you have to understand. 2 Cor 3:7. Paul was saying, ( BUT IF) But Paul didn't say killing someone was written in gods law. Now, can you understand that? The words, BUT IF. it means is still not there. So the words,IF WAS and IT WAS a so different. The word,...IT WAS, means was there. The word...BUT IF. Means, still not there. This is an example why most still don't understand the word. Mathew 16:19. Catholic believe on this vs that Jesus already gave the keys of kingdom of heaven to Peter. They were all wrong because Jesus said the word, I WILL. The word I will means, is still in progress. Jesus still holds the keys but still not delivered. Ok, let's go bk because I'm still not finished with you. Ok, let's see what the same Paul was talking to Corinthians. Roman 7:12. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. So how can God destroyed something holy, and just, and good? Isaiah was mentioned in the gospel of Mark the reason why hypocrites honoured Jesus by just their lips but their hearts is far from god because of this. Mark 7:9. And he said unto them. Full well ye reject the commandments of God, that ye keep your own traditions. Is that makes sense to you? If not, get bk to me so I can give you bible study. Jesus said that he wrote a new law. I know that you don't understand the bible. Jesus said that he wrote a new law, but john said that there a no new laws. 1John 2:7 it still an old law. I can tell you the reason why Jesus put gods law in our hearts. If you want ask me. Please, stop ✋️ explain the word of God if you don't understand ok. God bless

@@eddietomasi6164 Exodus 20? Why are you referencing commands that were smashed by Moses and no longer existed (Ex. 32:19). Those tablets were replaced (Ex. 34:1) and a new and different Sabbath command was given:
Deuteronomy 5:15 ESV *You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt,* and the LORD your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore, the LORD your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
The tablets which survived are the tablets that were not smashed (Ex. 32:19) and only tablets and law that was stored in the Ark of the Covenant (Deut. 10:1). The tablets and laws of Exodus were never stored in the Ark, but are rubble on the ground. The new tablets and words of God (Deut. 5:1-21) are the words of God are the only intact set of words and the only law stored in the Ark which state the reason to observe the Sabbath is to remember that you were salves in Egypt.
      * The truth was attacked
      * The seed of the woman was attacked
      * The sanctuary or temple
I pity them THEM a lot.

      [9]For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
