My group of Gundam buddies have called Shining's Super mode/ Burst state 'whipping out the bonk stick'.
swinging that giant green hurt stick makes you feel pretty powerful in the moment.
I love how the Shining Finger Sword is less a finisher here, than just a beam version of the Dragonslayer from Bezerk.

This game is going to be amazing with alot of mobile suits. Part of the reason I didn't get gundam vs for the ps4 is because there were not enough suits and the ones I want came in dlc packages.
I am a shining Gundam main and I am proud. Also did you know that shining finger in super mode shoots a huge blast after grabbing someone? Just throwing that out there
It also does more damage than the sword can dish out, so it's basically telling your opponent they fucked up by getting caught
Code Pizza I’ve killed many with that attack, I’ve seen many shining Gundam players not using shining finger, but it’s an insanely strong attack, even when your not in super mode, doing 154 damage if you spam melee

@manifestation of Gudako's insanity I don't think so. The jump mechanics can easily be countered by spam range by god or shining. God and shining are the best turtles in N+. Though Nobel and Spiegel are forgettable.

I always liked Shining more than I did God Gundam, the damage it can do in Super Mode is insane. Question though, what does Extend Burst do actually compared to the other two? I can't seem to find an explanation on Google anywhere.
Extend Burst basically let you tech out of the enemy attack with just 50% of burst while Fighting and Shooting required 100% burst in order to do that. It's mostly for defensive playstyle.
@@MinatoVersus Hmmm, interesting, though does it give anything else, like fighting increases attack and speed, while shooting increases your weapons recharge rate ect.?

It's strong in the right hands. You ideally want to preserve your hp for your super mode and join the front when you do have it. Hate watching people waste their hp just because they won't learn to vulcan properly.

I find shining being more fun than burning, I never noticed it being trash either, however the super mode is the highlight
It's only noticeable when you fight against a really strong player or in a competitive environment. Casual shuffle lobby you can split ppl head with no problem

can u make the text appear a bit longer? A good rule of thumb is that it should stay visible for around the same amount of time it takes to read it twice.
Noted. Still there might be some situation that I might have to shove it all in if there's a lot going on but I'll keep those suggestion in mind!
@@MinatoVersus it's mainly the ones during matches, as it can be hard to read while keeping up with the action, especially when it gets chaotic
Yeah it might be better if at the lead in to a new thing to note during the action that you actually freeze frame it for a couple seconds, then we get things going
that's definitely something that I don't want to do because it would have ruin the experience for those who's only for the gameplay part ... I guess we will just have to experiment more with the timing and stuff.

MiNATO CH I’m trying to learn fight stick, so i can move around better, while charging something. Also thanks for covering shining Gundam, its what I’m going to main when mbon releases.
Shining is a bottom tier unit, but with good teammate and control, it is still redeemable. The assist is slow but has nice tracking, its a nice tool to push with. Dash Cancels help a lot too. Nice vid mina2
