At the end of the video we went into DCA through the Grand Californian entrance. Nick and Judi meet often right there by the Redwood Creek Challenge which is right outside the Grand. They are just so fun to meet.
Oh man. You’ll have so much fun. It may be Food and Wine during that time and it’s so much fun! If you miss Nick and Judy there, try a little further up that path towards the Pixar Pier. They meet there across from the bathrooms there.
Did you find that the characters were coming out frequently or like once or twice while there? I'm debating scheduling this for brunch on the Sunday we arrive just because we only have 1 day at disneyland couple days later. I see brunch goes til 1:30. We land at 10:45. I feel confident we could get there by 12:30 which gives us an hour. That day is primarily downtown Disney so just looking for a decent place to eat.
There wasn’t really a time when at least one character wasn’t out. The host did let us know that if you let your server know if you have a specific character you are hoping for they will be sure to make it happen. Also if you are there for 90 minutes you will meet all of them - but remember to let your server know if you want to meet the character (either Mickey or Minnie) who is not circulating on your side of the restaurant. Oh yeah. You will be able to stay until you’re finished - so you will have more than just one hour. I’d go for it. :-)
Thx. I will say I wrote this with still a good 3 minutes left in your review and got pretty deflated when u said mickey and minnie only do half the room. But it was nice to hear about the tip with the server. Otherwise, we are resigned to having to wait for the pics with them at their toontown locale and with just one day in the park late June, im trying to be as efficient as possible. The price for what u get is a lot better than the other character options. It's just myself and girlfriend and neither have been. I have been to magic Kingdom as a kid many moons ago.
@@wesgover261 There are a couple different outfits for Mickey in Toontown - through his house you usually get him in his Sorcerer Mickey (awesome) outfit, but now when he is outside he has his cute new causal outfit. We're hoping to get a pic of him in that outfit now... but it seems harder to know when to find him that way. Have a FANTASTIC time!!! Disneyland is just the best!
Is there any where you can sit if you don’t want character interaction and just want the breakfast? This breakfast sounds so awesome, but I’m taking my cousin who’s extremely shy so I know meeting characters would not be an enjoyable experience.
Hmm, Im sure you can ask the server, but I have to tell you, you are paying for the characters at this breakfast. I'm not sure it is worth it for just the food (nearly $60. per person) so take that into consideration. The characters can move through you quickly and they only stay as long as you continue to chat with them, if you are a quick hello, they move along. I think they get it. ❤️

Man, a Mickey Waffle is indeed hard to come by. Are you staying on property or off? If you are on property and you speak to a concierge Im sure they can make some waffle magic happen for you... if you are off property, i would still ask, but it is far less likely. Let us know if you are able to track some down. there are a couple places inside the park, but obviously that will be more costly (needing a ticket) than the character dining. I will say the food at Storytellers was super yummy!
From what I have seen, I think that since the reopening the Cast has had to take some pretty serious abuse from guests. It is unreal how aggressive and out of hand people have become. It’s really sad. I would imagine after a while it makes it really hard.

It was because you going to the park and most likely see and would break magic if you saw him as soon as you entered. They were keep the magic.

I’d say Storytellers is a nicer experience than Goofys Kitchen on average too
