Back in the 1980s when our family owned our first VCR, I was the only one who knew how to operate it, and one day I discovered what the "audio dub" function was for. My sister and I used to improvise dialogue on a microphone over the audio of the Peanuts holiday specials we had taped. Those are all lost to time. But in the spirit of those old audio dubs is my attempt to edit footage from "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" over a scene from "Clerks".
