Team Serbia is not the same level as team Japan regardless their height and size advantage. They have many more years to catch up with Japan. Good performance by team Japan.

Japan's block has been a weakness for a long long long time, however today's their block was very effective. I'm glad that Japan seems to be strengthening their blocking skills. Especially their come-from-behind victory in the 3rd set felt like Japan, which never gave up in VNL, was back again.
Kentaro was a big contribution. They should keep him as main middle.

This commentator makes a lot of errors lol. Called the libero masahiro yamamoto. Then called onodera the team captain. Then said that nishida stepped on Atanasijević when it was the other way around.

I think Kentaro is a strong middle. He seems to fire up the crowd AND his own teammates...AND HIMSELF haha! Yiju Nishida was on FIRE this match. Everyone on the team seems to be in the right mindset for this match! They are all going for fire. And as always, I'm having a heartattack PTSD on the 3rd set because of past trauma LOLOLOL!
