I reffed Connor when he was playing high school hockey in BC. He was 14 playing against 17 year olds, kid was insane

Wow, the kid's got some tree trucks. Funny he said he favorite's are Crosby and Matthews, he's literally a fusion of those two players. Maybe, maybe he's the next Crosby, big shoes to fill. Let's not forget Connor McDavid is right in his prime, and doing godly things that haven't been done since Gretzky/Lemieux. People calling Bedard better than McDavid, are a little short sighted and jumping the gun. I remember when everyone was saying Lafreiniere, who broke McDavid's junior record, is going to be neck and neck with McDavid. That got put to rest real fast.

Seeing that Easton Yzerman brought back some memories. That was the stick I used in my 3rd season of minor hockey when I scored my first ever goal!

The M-1 and L-2 mission sticks were my favorite growing up. 3-4 year period that’s the only sticks I’d use. Wish I could get my hands on a full shaft and (RH)blade of an L-2

This year 2021 my coach got mad at us for not being able to catch passes so he made us all go get wooden sticks and I got the Sherwood feather lite and used it in a game

I stand by the Easton Synergy as the greatest stick of all time. Particularly the yellow grip stick. Martin St. Louis used it. It was a beauty.

Man I'm old. Even the old sticks were newer than me. I thought for sure they'd dabble into the Easton Aluminum, Hespler sniper, Bauer Supreme wood stick with the Lindros curve, Easton Ultra light two piece and then the one that changed the game Easton Synergy first one piece. Had to get the syn syn with the Sakic blade.
There was also a graphite two piece that had a wood finish, I can't remember the name but it was another classic. Anyone remember that one?

The Koho Lemieux and the Easton Yzerman were my favorite.
A lot of 1 piece sticks are made in 2 piece. I used the bauer one 95 and synergy SE both in 2 piece and used composite blades.

I loved my Cyclone with an Yzerman blade. I also remember when I first started playing, I wanted a Titan TPM2020 more than anything because it's what Gretzky used. My dad wouldn't get me one because they were 20 bucks.
